Ty keeps trying to push Syd away, because despite whatever their parents might think, he really is a very independent person, and he didn't want this to be a big deal.

Tybalt pulls out his lappy and starts doing various internet things. At this point, he just wants to forget this happened, ignore anything that hurts, and move on. He doesn't need Syd obsessing over it.

Syd shows him a diagram and starts explaining. "See, two bedrooms, that way they can't think bad stuff. A living room where we can have a couch and stuff, a sunroom for the office type place, and the bathroom is nice and big... and I'll even let you have the bigger bedroom..."
