But it is nice to see you standing here all flustered and pleading with me to come down." She rolled her eyes however at him, he was never going to let that go. "Almost doesn't count dearest. Long as such incidents stay as almosts then I shall let them pass."

Oh believe me, if he's thinking anything it's that I'm murdering you slowly and tucking your body away in pieces that I may feed to my horses later." Bopping him in the nose with the feathered end of the broken arrow in her other hand. "If I must."

"No, she's smart enough to know to wait outside or she wouldn't get anything from me. I couldn't fully enjoy hacking you into pieces with some horse trying to make off with your arm or something." Shaking her head lightly and givng a clear roll of her eyes. "They would. Get up then." Shooing him off the bed and from the room.

a slight chuckle and getting up at her shooing, and heading on downstairs ahead of her, letting her clean up a bit...and grinning lightly to himself before sneaking to find Kieran.
"Okay, I got her up there, and I've gotten her coming back down. everything ready?"
"you know, she's going to really kill you for this."
"No she won't. technically, andal is on a one season a yes system, and Labyrinth is on a six month a season system...so the seasons, and the month in the season are technically the same. so technically, seasonally, it's her birthday. It'll cheer her up."

Kieran rolled his eyes. "I can barely remember when her birthday is as per usual and you've done math to figure it out. I don't know whether you have more time on your hands than me and I should be in awe, or merely shake my head." Which got him a punch in the arm. "Ow...I'm just being truthful..."
"Well dearest, sometimes the truth hurts. Doesn't it?" Smiling sweetly of course.
Okay so she let him stew a bit longer before cleaning up what small mess she had made...though there were intentionally a few small pieces of this and that left on his side of the bed...and she made a check in on Savryn, whom was still entralled in her book, before making her way back downstairs. "I do hope we all appreciate my prescene down here. I wasn't quite done brooding yet."

and it was quiet, dark...no sound or movement while she came down the stairs. just a couple candles toward the kitchen..and once she got there, the light burst into life, with the table reset with cinnamon treats and a large cake and every there yelling 'surprise' including Savvy, whom malikhai had sneaked down and left one of his illusions in place...and who had also disguised the scent of cinnamon as not to tip his mother off. Course the big silver and cold banner was a 'happy birthday' one.

Which only got a suspicious look. "Okay...what do you all want and why would I be so opposed to it that you would try to butter me up. Let alone actually remember a day that I myself really don't recall much...is it that time already? But still...what do you want?"
To which Kieran could only laugh. "Rogues, always the suspicious type. But while you're expecting can I hav-" Cut off by an elbow to the ribs on that one. "Why are you intent on hurting me today woman?"

"Yes I know. I also know of something your winged feline friend shared with me after our wedding...after a heavy bribe for the usual arrowheads and feathers. So I've added on the the atrium, and altered the habitat some to add in those little marsupial things that you enjoyed tracking...and, Broog has already supplied them with a lot of 'shinies' specially made."
A grin.
"So your birthday present from me this year is a 'scavenger hunt'....if you will. And before you ask, you really didn't think I sent your youngest over there strictly for political and annoyance reasons, did you?"

And where did he find the time to learn all the little things that he did and deem them as noteworthy when she brushed them off most of the time as normal quirk. "I like to think better of your methods than that but sometimes I do wonder. That and I can only assume that you're going to make me go hunting for something specific among all the little shiny things hm?" Though of course she wasn't opposed to rummaging around in the dirt at all.
