This is very, very important!
I have completed the PM that needs to be sent out to the House Elves. Now the problem is that there are over 150 house-elves. Already three people (there was more, but I've lost the PMs) have volunteered to help. Well unfortunately I still need more. Would you care to help out before you leave the Kitchens, not forever (I hope), one last time? If you would, and can, please PM Iceekat ASAP. I would prefer if the PMs went out between tomorrow and Tuesday.

On another note, doing this mass sorting makes me kinda unhappy. As always the elves have been extremely active. Unfortunately I haven't been able to join in that activity as much as I would have liked. Oh well. I hope you guys enjoy your new Houses, and remember no matter where you go, stay active, and don't forget to visit the Pear.
I'll stop before I get sentimental/emotional.

Dazereth chuckled upon hearing that. "Hufflepuff, Meh. Not pure-bloods but not a horrible lot." He half-joked. He ran his fingers through his short, spiked blond hair. Revealing a tattoo* on his forearm. A pentagram, the two mighty symbols of magick intertwined. A Star, Known astrological wonder as well of equality, and the circle, never ending nor never beginning. Perfect matches. The ink was a dark bold green hue, in the middle of the star, at what was to be observed as the pentagon, a ornate version of the Slytherin crest. It was clear where the young wizard was to go. While he had no intentions of becoming a dark wizard, he neither wanted to be an uppity over-pious gryfindor. He was cunning, very ambitious, and he felt slytherin was his place.
((Assuming that isn't too muggle I suppose...Im sure if questioned I could work it out to keep the pure-blood pride intact))

(Oi, sorry guys - I just *died* after work yesterday and slept for 12 hours. So I'm probably not responding to a lot in this post...)
"Von!" Schnerkel exclaimed happily, "I like that a lot!" She then noticed a mistress come into the room, "Do you need anything miss?" she inquired hopefully.
Then she heard a girl talk about how she didn't want to be sorted into Hufflepuff and Schnerkel felt the tips of her ears redden a bit. It wasn't until Daz stood up for the house that she felt a bit better - she still did not say anything, but she was glad that not everyone hated her family's most prominent house.

Dazereth stretched wearily. "Guess we should start breakfast huh?" He looked around for some sign of what to do. "Do we get to eat first? Since we have to cook?" Dazereth's stomach attempted to answer that.

Schnerkel wanted to say that the House Elves could eat first, but her love for the masters and mistresses prevented that. "I think we should give the students their food first..." she said softly as she heard Daz's stomach. "B-but," she stuttered for a moment as she tried to come up with a solution, "I'm sure we could eat while we serve them!" Deciding her latest idea could help them all, she started toasting bread in mass amounts, but saved a slice for herself before she placed them all on plates.

-Pokes gets out the "How to Cook For Dummies" book- "Eek! How are you even supposed to do any of this?!" -sits on floor thinking about the Sorting- "I wish that they hadn't changed the End of Term until next week..." -throws a spoon that she found on the floor- "I'd probably do best in Slytherin...man, being a House-elf is boring. Can't wait to finally be a student." -gets up and finds raw food in the fridge- "Wow, that looks good...well, pure-bloods first, right?" -takes out the turkey- "Finally...food..." -eats turkey-

Daz turned to regard the elf raiding the cupboards. He cocked a brow and waited, quietly. He was pure-blood sure enough. More noble than the young girl helping herself to the food. Daz said nothing and waited to be served his meal. He decided that while he did consider himself a superior wizard and ambitious and all the things slytherin valued, he would remain modest and accommodating.

Bouncing into the kitchens to help prepare the food for the breakfast rush, Erin headed over to one of the cupboards and grabbed a tray. Opening the fridge, she loaded cheese, three types of jam, peanut butter, pure butter and juice onto the tray before handing Schnerkel a slice of cheese.
"Here, you. I am sure the bread would taste better if it wasn't completely dry."
Pulling some of the plates with the toast closer to her, she started spreading them with butter, taking care to use enough on the crusts. Breakfast always tasted better if the crusts were properly buttered, after all.

Dazereth smiled at the raiding elf. She bounced in and tenaciously went about her chore. It was admirable. Dazereth curled his nose a bit when she put butter on the toast. He was more of a grape jelly kinda guy. He doubted she'd know that. He stood abruptly and went to assist her. Smearing the yellow substance over the pieces of bread, taking just as much care to evenly butter them as to steal glimpses of her from the corner of his eye. She was interesting enough. He sought to learn more. "So, What house do you want to be in?" He inquired while still staying busy about his work.
His long sinewy arms reached down over and over, quickly becoming a tiring task to butter these countless pieces of wheat product. He then moved his athletic frame to the other side of her, focusing now on jams.
((Im trying to describe my character, it looks like its turning into a softcore porn novel...Thats really not what i am going for >.> sweatdrop ))

I think I'd like to be in Gryffindor, if I'm brave enough, but I do come from a long line of Ravenclaws. *Helps with the cooking, but I'm afraid I missed the breakfast rush. I'll start making some sandwiches for lunch* ((OOC: the only real problem with Hufflepuff, as far as I see it, is posting in orange. I don't get my glasses for a few days, and I have trouble reading the orange posts right now. Hmm... Does everyone with glasses automatically get sorted into Ravenclaw?j/k)) I hope the masters and mistresses are well rested from their weekend and ready to do their term finals!

A familiar voice floated over to Schnerkel that caused her to look up. "Oh no," she stated seriously to Erin, "You're so wrong about that." Schnerkel then folded the slice of toast in half and shoved it into her mouth in entierty. It took her a moment to swallow the obnoxiously dry food, and when she did she grabbed the piece of cheese to help with the aftertaste. "I like to eat them separately," she lied as she enjoyed the slice of cheese, "And I'm sure the students will feel the same way. But just in case we can include some of what you brought."
Schnerkel was going to continue bantering about how much more she knew in that specific area than her friend - for she knew not many others would allow her to do so - when Daz asked what house Erin wanted to be in. Schnerkel was able to guess what he wished her to say, but she held her tongue as she waited for the other to respond.
