Plasma Guns are under construction as we speak, and will be tucked into my squads to replace the Grenade Launchers. Stormbolters I'll move to the Command Squads, since that saves me points as opposed to upgrading my Sergeants, and I will drop the Surveyors. That leaves me with... 12 points more? Should I just spend that last bit on upgrading my Heavy Bolters to Auto Cannons, so I have passable AT versus transports and a way to punch through infantry still?
I don't really know. Where do you advise I stick my AT and Anti-Heavy Infantry gear? Should I just give my Squads the Missile Launchers and my Command Units the Bolters + Storm Bolters?

Command squad have lower numbers, hence lower survivability. I would give all ap/at weapons to normal squads, and leave command squads at counter-assault role with power weapon on lieutnant and possibly flamer or 2...

I need help- I have a buying list, and On it are sentinels. Now, I need to know which one would be best to get. Im thinking autocannon, As im in a wh40k STARVED area, and my friend is going to start Orks soon. So I figure if I get autocannon, thats balanced enough to handle some orks and some light vehicles he'll get first time out. what do YOU think?

I think you get more than one weapon in a bo0x, so buying isn't a problem.
Go with the autocannon.

Thank'ee kindly, mykal. another controversial thing I have on my list is this- First the scenario. I got a normal unit of cadian shock troops, mmkay? But I lost like three, so I cant make a two full squads, the prerequisite for infantry platoons. Now, I wanted to know if I should get catachans, and use the current guys I have to make one squad, and use catachans for the other, making 2 squads. maybe even 3 squads and the other cadians use as HQ.
But the thing I was wondering was- Is that even possible? Or should I get another cadian unit to even it out? The catachans would be VERY nice for kill team missions and light infantry... I believe you guys can see where Im headed. what do you think?

Since the Catachans lost their Codex, for all intents and purposes, they're just Guard now. You could use them, but I don't think their aesthetics would match all that well. Cadians are the same price as well I think. It'd probably be best to just get the Cadian box.

Actually, its downloadable in PDF format from the GW site. look under Imperial guard extras. anyway, they have their own 14-15 page codex that describes all the rules. but it says that your opponent must read the rules as well. but thats rather beside the point- What i'm trying to say is for the look, as well as KT value. simpler for cadians yes, but they still look pretty badass and have Excellent sprues for custom models, and terrain bits. hmmm... I believe I just solved my own question. rofl

I prefer the uniformity of all my men looking the same though. smile

Awww... you beat me to it... It reminds me of the Apocolypse battle tank the Soviets used in C&C: Red Alert II.
