Raki didn't like the answer. While he understood Leo's unwillingness to stay put, he knew the consequences for failure, and there were more chances of failing than succeeding in escape. "I'm sure Big Brother would want you alive. How do you think he would feel if you tried to escape and got killed?" he asked, though he probably wasn't convincing the other boy.

Leo turned his head only slightly to face Raki. "How do you think he's going to feel when he sees your plan unfold?" He counteracted, knowing that both situations were equally bad. "At least I have a chance of escaping, even if my chances are slim."

"What do you know about my plan? I already know how Big Brother will feel," Raki said bitterly. Their brother would hate him. He must be hating him now. Perhaps even wished that he did die of cold. "If you do as I say, I'll guarantee that you'll come out alive. How can you escape on your own? You can't see and we're in Mexico. The chances that you'll run into someone from Legion are very slim."

"My eyes may be damaged Raki, but I can see just as well as you can. Sometimes better than you." he said softly. "I don't know what your plans are but I'm sure Asher would never forgive you if you execute them. If you stop now and help me get out of here Asher might go easy on you."

It seemed a verbal battle between the two of them. Personally, Raki felt Leo just didn't understand where he was coming from. If he knew nothing about his plans, why make these assumptions? "I'm sure I'm already beyond the point of forgiveness. Whether or not I stop will make no difference," he said. "I'm close to the end. It will be over soon. Won't you accept that? You'll be with Big Brother again soon. You should have patience." It was odd that he was speaking in archaic formation. Must have been influence from Grandpa. "I made this plan knowing that Big Brother will hate me. I thought of it just knowing that my own family will disown me. Say what you will, but I've already taken it into consideration."

Leo gave a soft sigh. "Then you already know how I feel about trying to get out of here. I don't care how injured I get, I can't stay here any longer. I refuse to let them use me like some kind of lab rat." He said sternly, continuing to face the opposite direction of Raki.

When Raki had formed his plan, he expected Leo would have been nothing but a scared kitten, though it was clear that his assumptions were wrong. It would cause a lot if trouble, then, if the other boy would keep trying to escape or defy the captors. So many setbacks... It would ruin everything. It had only been a day since the kidnapping and everything was already falling apart. For one, Raki had spilled most of the plan anyhow, and he realized he wasn't ready for all this. Was it too late to salvage this plan, though? "What must I do to get you to cooperate?" he asked. "I need your help for this, Leo. If this works, you'll be free tomorrow. Oh, but you don't know my plan. How good an actor are you? Even if you're terrible at it, I guess there's no point in concealing anything anymore, at least in front of you." In any case, he would be dead anyway. How could he return to Legion? Who would care if he was gone, now that he delivered Leo to the Triforce gang? "I guess I can't ask you for anything. Fine. It's okay. I brought this upon myself. The least I can do is make sure you go back alive and well. The Triforce won't use you, I promise. I won't let them. That much I can say."

Leo relaxed a little. "You promise I'll be able to go home tomorrow?" he asked cautiously, once he received a positive answer Leo released a heavy sigh. He couldn't believe he was going to consider cooperating but if it meant less pain and a quicker release, maybe it was best. "I'll cooperate.....But if I'm not let go tomorrow I'm going to create my own doorway out of here."

Raki gave Leo a hesitant confirmation, though he himself regretted telling him this. Why did he say Leo could go home tomorrow? There was really no way to get him home unless a mass meeting was planned tomorrow. They had just got here, even, so it was unlikely that Orion would plan a meeting in the States and drive back just like that. Perhaps there was a way around this. "First, I need you to answer something. How good of an actor are you?" he asked. "Because I screwed up and told you too much, it looks like you are really going to take part in my plan. Grandpa and everyone else should be nearby soon. Perhaps you can contact Rin, but only when I tell you to."

Leo gave a soft sigh. "I'm not sure how well I can act, I've never had to do it before. But I can try to be convincing. I just need your help to keep me alive. I don't think these people would care whether I lived or died." he said gravely. "Just do what you have to and get me back home please. I'm begging you."

Raki wasn't sure how well he liked the answer, but it couldn't be helped. "You'll go home. I promise. No matter what, even if it kills me, I'll make sure you get home. We should be able to pull this off as long as you pretend you don't know anything about me really being a part of Legion," he said. "If they know, they would either boast that they've got the favor of Legion's main spy, or they'll question my loyalty. I don't want to take any chances." He then remembered he had promised Leo something. "Ah, I forgot. I still need to help you learn to see by vision. Let's see... triggers, triggers... We'll start with the positive ones. List everything you like."

Leo knew this required very little thought. "I like sweets...my friends and Ash....Carnivals and food...I'm pretty simple really." he said with a slight shrug. "What does that have to do with my being able to see through my visions?"

"I read Grandpa's notes when he was teaching Rin and the other visionaries. He first asked them to list things they liked and some of them triggered visions as a result. It's simple, and there are other triggers, but that's where he started," Raki answered. "Of those things you like, which is your favorite? Is it Big Brother?" If he remembered the notes correctly, Leo needed to experience extreme emotions in order the see a vision. Extreme emotions and concentration. A lot of meditation to perfect it. "Leo, are you in love with Big Brother? I saw the way you look in his direction sometimes. It can't be mere brotherly affection."

Leo's face turned red and he stood straight up. "Of course not!! Why would you even think that I'm 'in love' with him!?" He squeaked loudly and started to fidget with his hands. "D-do you think...thats gross?" he asked cautiously.

"Why would I think that? It's just love," Raki answered, giving a small smile at Leo's unintentional confirmation. He could use that to his advantage. "Your behavior gave it away, you know. You always yelled at me before when I talked about you losing his attention and you did say you hated to share him. You're not the type to be overly obsessive or possessive to the point of being crazy, so I concluded that you're really in love with him." He got a bit closer to Leo. "Does your heart leap with joy if I tell you he's coming for you right now? Does it beat like crazy if I tell you that you're all he thinks about... even when he's with me?" He hoped this was a good trigger. He didn't want to have to try to provoke the visions through fears. If he researched enough, Leo lost everything in a fire... How odd... Leo's tragedy involved fire and heat and Raki's tragedy was water and cold...
