Maybe we did make a mountain out of a molehill, it's really not that big of a deal, is it? Oh and what was the Farseer doing after she killed the Marine/before being attacked.

I wonder if she was communicating with/attracting the Tyranids (that's my solid bet now) so that the Space Marines wouldn't keep the planet?

[Sanity_is_for_the_Weak] I wonder if she was communicating with/attracting the Tyranids (that's my solid bet now) so that the Space Marines wouldn't keep the planet? Somehow I doubt that. Eldar are mysterious bastards, so she could've been trying to maybe cloak the presence of the (possible) Maiden world or open a larger portal into the Webway for more troops. Or maybe kill the world and deprive the 'Nids of their precious resources.

As far as what the Farseer was doing, the look of it was to be something of a hell of a lot of power. Perhaps feeding on the planet's World Spirit do build un enough power to:
1) Open the webway enough to bring many, many more troops in to help.
2) Rip a hole through the hive fleet.
3) Kill off the Blood Ravens
4) Kill off the planet, as has been suggested.
Meh, that's just my idea. I have only slight knowledge of what the Farseers are capable of.

The Tau Hive Fleet? What is so special about that? Oh, and I'm pretty sure it's the Tyranids because they wouldn't leave Chaos as a surprise, everyone has seen them and played them as a race, what's so special about that? If they wanted to leave an awesome cliffhanger, it would be for something fantastic, not usual.

That was very imaginative Brookman. Kuroda, they left a mysterious ending of that movie so that everyone would go bat-s**t crazy over who it was. Right now everyone is like "OMFG! Who could it be! I bet it's the Tyranids!" and if it turned out to be Chaos then I'd imagine they'd be losing money there, because Chaos is old news.
