Je t'aime means "I love you" in French.
*sulk* *fidget* *unhappy* =_=;;
Hm? What's your problem?
Ain't no snow in Gatlinburg... the weather is too mild for even snow machines to make it stick right on the ski slopes.
What? The weather feels amazing! Why would warm weather ever be a problem?
Florida always wants to come up and ski, play and have a "white Christmas" around my mountains this time of year. Him and his tourists might start complainin' 'bout it. Snow's important for Gatlinburg...
Oh, yeah... Now that I think about it, around this time of year there's a sudden flood of Florida tourists and people from other states moving through Tennessee towards the mountain areas...
He's gonna whine at me. I just know it. It's not like I can fix the weather. =__=;
Pfft! For some reason that reminded me of something that happened on my drive through Georgia. We had to take an exit that said something about "TO BURMINGHAM and " but no one but me and my navigator realized this was on purpose. Everyone else in the car freaked out and was like "NOOOOO! Not Alabama and Florida!! Turn arooooound! ;~;" It kind of scared me. I didn't expect them to be so anti-Florida or Alabama. xd ;

" =_= It's because they're both d- *is swatted* stare "
It's Christmas time. Don't act like a jerk. If you want, you can come back to Georgia! We got snow at Snow Mountain! And all you have to do is pay admition into the park! And a little over $100 per person. But I had noticed it seemed warmer this morning when I went on my run.
"I only say that to it because I know how much he loves when I say that. Oh, and you know full well that I bathe. But, if we're on the topic of something that can't be clean, what about those special maid bars you have? You know, where the people who serve you are men with nothing but aprons and cuffs on?"
" emotion_0A0 That don't sound nothing like any of the maid cafes I've been to! I mean, you still had to be 18 to go to 'em, but they weren't bad like that!"

Maid bars...? *even more worried about his brother* ._.
W-What? $100!? emotion_0A0 That's crazy! Why would any amusement park ever cost that much?
'Bama and Florida ain't all that bad. It's kinda nice to have them over for Christmas as long as nobody mentions football...
You can say that because neither of them try to mess with you. I tried to look up Alabama and Tennessee disputes and I couldn't find any... Even though they don't agree a lot politically, it seems like TN has a good history/relationship with Alabama. The only thing that did come up was Alabama apparently is getting involved in the Tennessee River issue and passed some resolution to interfere with Georgia trying to get water from it. (Tennessee shares his river with Alabama and Kentucky so apparently he's been like "Andrew, don't share with Christian! It's a bad idea, I'm telling you! >_<" and TN is like "... Why are you here? It's my problem. ._.") But Alabama did help a little when the border marker between all three of them went missing and TN got SUPER pissed about it thinking GA stole it since this happened during the Chattanooga drama. Luckily Alabama found it somewhere and put it back where it belonged before a big fight could break out.
See? 'Bama is a good little brother. Florida is just kinda an idiot.
When I tried to look up TN and FL disputes... well, it was mostly football related and something about TN stopping a highway being built between them just because it was messing up too many of his farms. rofl
Farms are important! Don't laugh! >.<

Well for the Paranormal Club at school, it would cost $100 per person to stay overnight at the NC Battleship to investigate. *shrug*
"That's true farms are important. In just within the past 20 years, a lot of farm areas of decreased for houses or shopping centers." emotion_8c
Yet when I went to Bear Grass (a really small town in the middle of nowhere) It felt like the cotton fields would never end emotion_0A0 But you sure have changed from Farming to engineering.

$100... emotion_drool That makes me feel a little sick to think about. Ugh...
Engineering is pretty important... but I'd rather have farms.
Tennessee's most important main industries are chemical production/research, hydroelectricity, agriculture and music. Agriculture might be Tennessee's personal favorite, but it's not his biggest money maker anymore. I'd say it's kind of toned down to more of a hobby sort of thing... but he'll always have a farmer's mentality at heart. Most farms are pretty small unless you go to West TN. That's where the richest soil is and where crops like cotton really take off.
*sulks* America made me start the chemical and hydroelectric stuff... I was doin' just fine without them. *misses simpler times* =_=
Oh, welcome back! You're just in time for more dancing!

"Don't worry yourself over it, Tennessee. Maid Cafes only occur at Anime Conventions. Even so, the girls are dressed nicely in a way that isn't inappropriate." Unless you have a maid fetish...
Yeah. When Stone Mountain first announced the idea of "Snow Mountain", everyone got excited. I mean, the lawn they do this on? It's a little kid's fantasy spot for tubing in the snow! However, when it actually came to fruit, not so many people were thrilled when they learned that it costs a lot of money for maybe an hour or two in the snow that they make. Not only that, but you're sort of limited in what you can do. You can either wait in a long line to go down what is a water slide but with snow or you can go make 1 snowman or snow ball fight.Not only that, but those who have something called "Mountain Membership" where it allows you to go to everything else in the park for free still have to pay the price of admission in order to go to Snow Mountain. I think it's slightly discounted, but not enough to make me willing to shell out a lot of money to stand around in wet clothes in line to go down a snow slide that ends not too far from the train tracks. (Mind you, there is a wall about 3 yards away fro the fence that separates the lawn from the tracks, but, still, when that train comes by and blows its horn, it's annoying enough as is.)
I had forgotten this (and I don't know how), but I remembered something else that Georgia has! Turner Broadcasting Station which has quite a few pretty well known channels, including Cartoon Network and one of the CNN headquarters. I don't know how I forgot, but I remembered it as soon as I remembered the Toonami panel since the guy speaking actually knew some of the creators of some of the shows that were taken off the air either while Toonami was on or after it was gone. In fact, it's not too far form the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coke (TBS, not CNN, though I bet they're in the same building since everything else that company owns is in there).
Welcome back Russia! Good to see you're here! 4laugh
Georgia does some farming, but it's not a whole lot. (Well, compared to how much he used to do.) If you go to the southern half of Georgia, you will either see nothing but trees or nothing but farm land. Quite a bit of what I usually see is either Pecan farms, Corn Fields, or (can you believe it?) cotton. xd However, we also have a couple of pretty well known farms that are based here. In fact, I live within walking distance of the strawberry fields owned by Washington Farms. 3nodding

Well... I guess so long as it's appropriate... *trying to be understanding of GA's weird hobbies* *not doing a very good job* sweatdrop
Ooh! Ooh! We saw that building with the Cartoon Network characters on it while driving through Atlanta! One of my buddies almost had a cow because he was so excited they had Jake and Fin from Adventure Time on the side. He even took a picture of it with his camera.
I really liked Georgia best the further south we got. The more urban areas were fun and exciting, but I guess I'm more of a country/suburban girl at heart in the end. Those pine trees were so tall and thick it really shocked me for some reason! Another thing that surprised me was a sign about Georgia's beaches. I knew in my heart of hearts Georgia touched the Atlantic Ocean, but for some reason it never registered there were actual beaches in Georgia. This summer I'd like to go to see them if I can get the others to join me on adventures again.

I know Turner Field built a play area for kids using different Cartoon Network characters. Sadly, though, every one of those shows has since gone off the air and I doubt most kids either know or remember who these people are besides Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy. Speaking of which, going to Turner Field is pretty cool. If you ever get the chance to though, you have to try the 755 Club. It's very nice, though I understand it is pretty expensive. With good reason, though. Not only is it fine dining, it's all you can eat (at least, it was when I wet there, but I suppose it's like many places where you can go to the buffet or order a meal from a menu), and you have the option of sitting on a balcony that over looks the field, so you can eat while watching the players warm up for the game.
Oh yeah. We have some pretty nice beaches. In fact, Savannah is on the coast, which was why it used to be used as a port back when people did use ships to transport goods. Jekyll Isle is pretty nice, and I think they do turtle walks in the summer since that's when the Loggerhead Sea Turtles come to land and lay eggs. (If you're lucky, you can either see a turtle lay eggs or watch eggs hatch. If not, then at least you get a lovely walk on the beach that's otherwise closed to the public at night while learning fun facts and watching Ghost Crabs scurrying. xd ) We also have a couple of conservation centers over there, including an area where students from UGA go when they study Marine Biology. There's several other islands off the coast of Georgia, and we can a pretty big marshland, so if you love nature photography, we're a good place to go. Just be careful if you do go to the marshlands. The mud can be pretty thick and deep without you knowing, and too much struggling or freaking out has the same affects as quick sand, but grosser.

Ooh. I've never been to Savannah before! All of those things sound like fun. Maybe I should have an "Armelle's March to the Sea" and go through Chattanooga, Atlanta then Savannah exploring all the sights and wind up at the beach. It would be fun~ I could get a new hoodie from Savannah. ('u' ) That's my trademark thing. Whenever I go on vacations to places I always buy a hoodie that has the name of the city/state I played in. *waves new Atlanta/Georgia/Aquarium hoodie* whee
Although from the RP it sounds like that Savannah might be Georgia's vital regions...? emotion_awesome *wiggles "grope" fingers* I just might be coming for you this summer, GA! emotion_dowant

I did that on purpose. The way I see it, Atlanta has been the heart of Georgia ever since they changed the capital to being Atlanta (I'm sure this is the case with most states, but Atlanta was originally just another city, but when rail roads were invented and they realized Atlanta was closer to the heart of the state-- and that this is where most of the "rich" folk of the time lived-- it got switched). And even though Agriculture was a HUGE part of Georgia's economy, part of what made his economy so great was the fact that he could technically take his product and directly trade it to other countries around the world through Savannah. It would also explain why he's a bit *ahem* touchy about You-Know-Who claiming his Savannah and sort of giving it as a present... And on that note, I started giggling because immediately after typing that, I started thinking of a song that fits that so well! xd "You aren't thinking..."D*** In A Box! emotion_awesome " emotion_eyebrow .... emotion_facepalm I hate you for making that joke..."

W-Wait... does that mean... Sherman gave my brother's "m-most vital region" to Lincoln for Christmas?
Sounds that way.
emotion_0A0 N-Noo! *instant depression* My brother was... he was... crying Noooo... I'm sorry, Chris! I'm sorry for all the mean things I say to you! I didn't know you were that kinda victim!
... *now thinking very terrible things about one of the most respected and beloved presidents in US history*....... <.<; Kinky... Well, TN has officially ruined President Lincoln for me forever with his wild assumptions.
