I like d20 Modern. whee I have a setting for it, called Dark Matter: Shades of Grey. it's a Sci-Fi/Paranormal setting, where the Heroes are agents working for the Hoffman Institute, and crack down on Global Conspiracies. whee
but I don't have the Rulebook, so I dunno how to play. sweatdrop my friend Taylor does, though, so I hope to get in touch with him on it at some point. whee

They are playing as some people in a town in Georgia. It is just during the beginning of the zombie Apocalypse. XD And they are red necks~ One of them spent a good time of the time in a basement watching TV. XD

the way you play is heavily dependent on your lifestyle.

it's not that they play how they are. it's that how the game is played depends on what each Player (and the GM) bring to it. they each contribute to the game, with style and resources.
for example, the GM picks the setting, so it has to be something he knows about. maybe it's straight-up episode-like because he watches alot of shows like that. or maybe it's a twisted mystery plot because he reads alot of mystery novels. or maybe he is taking a high-level math class so it's an underwater setting or a WWII Airforce setting.
then the players might be world of warcraft guys, so they hack-and-slash. or maybe they all have dayjobs, so you have this justice-seeking team of well-organized zealots. or perhaps everybody is sick of bullshit and stress, so they just act out their aggressions and play self-centered evil or neutral characters, and goof off alot. or maybe everyone is a pothead, so they just kinda let the GM lead the story and they go with the flow.

I broke my fossilized Lamnas shark tooth. crying The thing lasts 33 million years only to get stepped on and broke!. It should be alright with a little gorilla glue, and if I wire it up for a necklace pendant, you shouldn't be able to see the difference. Also, more evidence that my cat is psychotic:

My cats will eat anything I drop. I know they aren't starving either. It always made me just a little extra paranoid about dropping my children when they were infants. sweatdrop
As to Table Top RP's... LOVE THEM! We always do a fantasy Dungeons & Dragons/ Sword & Sorcerers. We create our own worlds and such, and we draw from the different systems to allow ourselves more freedom and time to develop the story, yet discourage the munchkin syndrome.
...and my all time best remedy for cramps.... Activity. Warm up your insides, and the cramps loosen. I like to walk, or do some heavy exercise. It is horrible for the first 15, but then I am usually good for the rest of the day. It also helps your body flush out faster for shorter "business days", if you know what I mean.

15 minutes. LOL
The first 15 minutes can be excruciating, especially when you wake up with morning cramps, but once you get your body loosened up, it isn't nearly as bad.
Sometimes when it's really bad, I will take an Advil as soon as I get up, and by the time I am done with my morning routine (bathroom, kitchen, computer news check), I will do 20 to 30 minutes of exercise, and I may still have a residual ache, but it isn't anything that can stop me from doing what needs to get done.
Advil Liqui-gels are what I live by though when it come to pain that must have meds.
