He grunted a response as he bent to carefully make a notation in an open book. His big hands struggled to write cleanly, so it could be read.
The other man followed behind Violet with the half of a deer.
Maya walked with Violet, "Don't mind Mirko, He's a bit gruff. Doesn't like new people."
Mit shrugged again, "You never know. You might like it. Having someone you can speak or think anything too... being able to look at each other and know what the other wants without a word passing between you... It's a partnership, not a courtship."

Sounded more like marriage to Tora. He just shrugged. He's just trying to be faithful.

Maya stopped before the door to their room and grinned at Violet. She spoke in a very low voice, "I bet I can make Mit's face turn red."
Mit leaned back against the door on the chair, balancing on the back legs of the chair.

"Okay..." Maya said, she raised a foot and kicked it in.
"Well, Maya will just have to kno-" He got slammed in the back of the head by the door, and thrown onto the floor. He landed on his face in the middle of the room. He twisted around to see what had happened, and saw Maya standing in the doorway. His face went red, "MAYA!!!"
Maya grinned at Violet, "In under ten seconds..."

Mit shot a glare at Tora and hurried to his feet, "Maya what is wrong with you!?"
Maya smiled as him, as she handed him the bowl of meat, "I'm the evil older sister you always needed."
"Yeah... Like I need a knife in my side..." Mit muttered, as he got a chirping Spin out of his pocket.
The meat man followed Maya in and set the deer near Tora. He then looked at Maya and shoved a thumb in Tora's general direction, "Ain't never seen a creature like that. It Mythical?"
"No... He's just a grumpy tiger. You should head back." Maya said sitting on the edge of the bed. The man bowed, and turned to leave.
