{James, Auron : Caribbean Sea : Brig of the Dutchman}
James stayed quiet as he boarded the dutchman and was searched thoroughly for anything that could be construed as a weapon. Thankfully, the fish pirates didn't consider his elemental cards a weapon though, so they remained in his pocket.
'Not that it matters... without the hexagun they are nothing but useless cards.'
He didn't put up any sort of a fight as he was herded into a cell. He was a little disturbed though by the fact that he was placed into a cell of his own while everyone else was crammed into the same cell. His eyes narrowing warily at the chains and bindings that were absent in the other.
"I don't like this... why did they put me in here by myself..." He muttered as he sat down against the wall.
He sighed, he would have much rather been in the cell with all the others. There was more room alone to be sure, but there was a feeling of isolation and even loneliness alone. As he sat his arms crossed over his chest and he couldn't help but shiver somewhat. He wished that he could have at least been in the adjacent cell, not alone on the other side of the walkway. His attention turned toward a whistling that was drawing nearer.
There was no way out of these cells, nothing for leverage like they had used in the Pirates movies... and even then they were guarded by Fish Pirates, Celia, and what the corsair recognized as Black Waltz No. 1 from Final Fantasy IX.
Auron knew he stood no chance against all the forces that were assembled, so he allowed them to confiscate his katana. Without that he was still strong, but not strong enough to take down all the guards. So he allowed himself to be put in the cell with all the others. He remained standing, his back against the wall. His eye closed as he looked down at the floor as if in meditation. Only to shift as he heard the sound of someone whistling.

[Carribean Sea ~ Brig of the Dutchman]
If Noelle was anxious she sure did a good job of hiding it. The blonde stood leaning against the slimy cell bars, hood up and arms crossed over her chest. Every once in a while a shiver would run through her body and she would squirm ever so slightly. It was as if she was caught between effectively keeping calm and losing the battle against her anxiety. She didn't like the situation at all. Her worry for James was apparent--almost every half minute she was glancing at him from underneath her hood, biting her lip. Prote was doing his usual routine and staring at each of them for minutes at a time, watching subtle changes in their faces and body language. His recovery was slow going; he was just beginning to get over his image blinking in and out and regaining solidity of form.
When Dawn spoke, Noelle looked down at her, a sympathetic expression coming across her face. "It'll be okay." She said softly in an attmept to comfort her, a slightly lighter tone to her voice, "At worst we'll be sold as monkeys to a travelling circus."

[ Yuffie ; Beatrix ; Axel ; Seymour : Angel Grove : City Streets ]The Possessed Paladin was stunned momentarily after her Dark Haze strike by the Thundaga bolt, only to get healed by Terra's magic. The strike, combined with the constant barrage of water and ice from beneath, was taking its toll on the knight... and it was clear from the ever growing Dark Aura that she was not taking it well. Releasing another 360-degree wave of dark energy in order to destroy the water clones, Beatrix seemed to vanish, completely dodging the Trine ability... Even the Great Ninja Yuffie, with Darkness fueling her possessed desires, couldn't dodge the swift counter-attack by the Hastened Kyle, who cut a small gash into her side as she jumped away, narrowly dodging the geysers and icicles that arose. Her own Dark Aura was beginning to grow, and without so much as blinking at the two Water Clones, disappeared in a blur... Axel's attacks were blocked with relative ease, it seemed, but he also seemed to stay out of the way of the water and ice attacks that came from below. The possessed assassin glanced around, noticing the sudden absence of Yuffie and Beatrix; turning to glare at Kyla with hollow eyes, he was consumed by flames, vanishing as they went out... Seymour noted the large Flare attack coming his way, managing to counter it with a Flare of his own; the two spells combined in a large explosion of energy, just far enough away from Dani and Alan so that the two of them would remain unharmed.
He made a quick scan of the battlefield, looking to see who needed help and who was in good condition; Kyle, Amy, and Kyla remained Hasted, but he noted with slight worry that Kyla's Warding Lotus around herself and her allies had fallen, since the spells were only temporary; the Haste spell he'd cast would also fall shortly, but Kyla's Haste would remain for a bit longer than that.
Still, the strange disappearance of three of the fighters without warning...
"On your guard!" Seymour shouted, looking up just in time to see the two bodies falling from above. In the bright blue sky, there were two large black spots, both approaching with frightening velocity, one closer than the other. Moments before they made impact, it became clear what the large black clouds were- Beatrix and Yuffie."Climhazzard!""Gauntlet!" Beatrix stabbed her blade into the ground in the center of the battlefield, and from underneath each opponent, it seemed dozens of crimson energy slashes erupted, giving them no warning or time to do much of anything. Yuffie, less than a few moments thereafter, punched the ground with her black-gloved left hand, released a terrible explosion of non-elemental energy that encompassed the entire battlefield. Finally, the possessed duet was revealed to be a trifecta; Axel had also been charging his own attack, and just moments after the Gauntlet explosion faded away, the entire battlefield began to erupt with random columns of fire- sometimes, it would be directly below a target, and other times, it would be in the middle of nowhere. The eruptions would not stop for the moment, continuing on through the battle. Axel, however, never reappeared from wherever he was hiding.

[[Louis : Flying Dutchman : Brig]]
Louis stood with his back against the bars, trying to think about a way out. With Celia blocking the door along with a Black Waltz, there was little to support fighting their way out, but even then, logic told him even if fighting their way out of the brig was successful, they still had the replicas there, and from how it appeared they still had the negator with them, blocking off their magic. It was pointless to fight their way out. They had two choices now. Cooperate and look for an opportunity to escape when close to land or another boat. Or strike a deal.
Making a deal with Davy Jones meant giving up your soul to servitude, or collecting the souls of others. Making a deal with the replicas was not an option since the likely hood of them making any sort of deal was next to nothing. They had the advantage, there was no gain in making a bargain with their captives. Only Davy Jones played those kinds of games.
The Arcanist sighed and looked over to an unconscious Jacob. Pour guy tried to run. He couldn't blame him. Louis understood in his situation, he wouldn't know their true capabilities. If he had been aware, he may have decided otherwise. There was no changing the past however, and he'd have to deal with the inevitable headache he was likely to wake up to and no white magic or any magic in general to help relieve the pain.
Upon overhearing Noelle's comment, he couldn't help but chuckle. He tried however to bite his tongue as the whistling grew closer. Here we go...

[Nick :: Angel Grove :: City Streets]
The Dark Haze cut into Nick, and the blonde gasped for a moment as the attack slammed into him. After a brief moment, Nick realized how little the pain felt. Yeah, it hurt, but not anywhere near as bad as Sephiroth's fire spell. That hurt like no one's business.
...Odd. How did I escape the pain? If it had hit anyone else, it would have done a lot more than this. Did the Darkness in my heart protect me? Or am I powerful enough to stand up to certain spells? Regardless, I'm not going to let some one eyed knight and annoyin-
Nick's train of thought was quickly interrupted as he was cut by crimson blades, then thrown back by a blast of Darkness. He finally crashed onto the street, panting. Magic hurts. He looked to his left, which were once the remains of a parked car. Out of nowhere, the car was immediately engorged in a pillar of fire. The Lanista hopped to his feet, his eyes narrowing at Beatrix.
Wind began circling around his feet, whipping this way and that until they were concentrated rings of wind. Nick pressed one boot against a chunk of upturned concrete, getting a decent brace.
Chaos, it may not be much, but her soul shall be yours.
If Nick could see the Walker of the Wheel, he would notice a malicious grin. He pushed off of the concrete, speeding towards Beatrix full force to tackle her clean out of her shoes.

[Jenny :: Caribbean Sea :: Brig of the Dutchman]
Jenny leaned against the cell bars, still placing pressure against her injured arm. Her legs were tired but she felt like she couldn't sit lest something happen. But her legs were complaining to her, her head was complaining too and it didn't help that her arm was wailing that it was burning. Shut it. Brown eyes flickered over to the other cell, not bothering to mask how upset she was that James got sectioned off from the rest of them. What were they going to do?
Her mind was completely silent except for the mad rants she repeated over and over in her head. There were no songs to comfort her, not that they would've been comforting in the current situation but it would be better than the death like silence that resided in its place, like a layer of thick fog in her mind. The whistling didn't help, it punctuated her thoughts as if trying to instill some kind of fear in her.
"I'd rather be a tiger, so I could rip someone's lower jaw out... though I heard monkeys can get rather vicious," Jenny added, trying ease the worry from her own voice. She felt a sense certain violence well up in her, but she felt like she had a certain right to that feeling, with their situation and all. Sighing, Jenny finally gave in to her legs and slid down to the floor, quelling at least one form of protest from her body.

{Kyle : Angel Grove: City Streets}
Kyle was on top of the world, ecstatic that he'd hit Yuffie and made her run away. His mind wasn't focusing on the fact that she had just disappeared and could be coming back. Nope. He'd hit Yuffie. He was feeling useful for once as well. And then Seymour shouted to look out. Reacting on instinct as before, Kyle tapped his foot on the ground and summoned up his Personal Barrier. While the barrier may have proved useful against the soon-to-come explosion, it did nothing against the crimson blades.
As soon as the first blades had come, Kyle knew he had f***** himself over. Big time. And the blades blew him straight up, easily past his six-foot barrier and right into the non-elemental explosion. And that in turn sent him flying, skidding roughly across the ground. When he finally managed to get up, it was quite clear that Kyle was in bad shape. Magic was NOT his favorite opponent. The entire back of his ranger suit was torn, revealing the extent to which his back was torn up. And while the suit was repairing itself, his back wouldn't be doing the same thing. His legs were also pretty torn up, having taken most of the crimson blades.
As he stood without trying to sway, Kyle watched as a column of fire exploded out of the ground only a few feet in front of him. Lovely. This battle really needed to end.
You only have a couple attacks left in you. Make them count. Or...use all of your magic and waste them. They'll survive it. Probably.
How do I do that? Just gather all of my energy at one point and see what happens?
Sounds good to me.
If I didn't want to end this battle so much, I'd say you don't know what you're doing. At that, all Kyle heard was an interesting combination of a hissing chuckle.
Drawing all of his energy into his hand, Kyle ran forward, aided by the Haste spell. If not for that, he'd probably be walking there, but he wanted to get close to his opponents, as he wasn't entirely sure what the magic would do. Finally getting close enough, he fell to his knees, no longer able to run. At that point, he realized that Midgardsormr was moving his arm, using just a bit of the magic to do so. Placing his hand upon the ground, Kyle could see that a symbol appeared around his hand, a glowing, light brown color. He recognized the symbol. It was the Ouroboros. However, he only had enough time to recognize the symbol before it expanded, incredibly quickly, to the very edges of the battlefield.
Feeling all of his energy drain away from him, Kyle fell from his knees onto his stomach, not sure what was going to happen. If Alan had happened to use his Clarity, he would see strands of magic going from Kyle into the earth, where they would lead to a powerful ball of light-brown magic, positioned directly under the center of the battlefield.
In seconds, the earth would begin to shake violently, then a powerful blast of magic would erupt upwards and outwards, covering the whole of the battlefield, with the force of a volcano erupting. As well as the magical blast, the earth itself would tear out in chunks and shoot upwards. The buildings probably wouldn't be safe from damage either. The magical blast wouldn't hurt allies, but it would be best to watch out for pieces of earth falling down on them.
After it ended, Kyle could be seen in the same position as before, completely unconscious.

{James : Caribbean Sea : Brig of the Dutchman} James sighed again as he turned his attention toward his friends on the other side of the hallway. He could tell some of them were upset about his predicament, Jenny especially was making no attempts to hide it. The corsair chuckled lightly as he heard Noelle's comment regarding the monkeys. "Well, Michelle has always called me a monkey anyway." He replied quietly before he fell silent again. He closed his eyes, he was getting concerned of course, especially with the whistling drawing nearer. He relaxed his grip on his arms somewhat and began to hum an all too familiar melody, hoping to calm himself down as well as maybe the others. {{Cue: Hum of the Fayth}} {Leon : Angel Grove : City}
Leon had been sure his tactic would work. However it seemed Beatrix was able to anticipate it. His attempt at a back attack, resulted in nothing more than him being forced to block and dodge Nick's bullets that Beatrix managed to strafe. He had to keep trying though. He dashed forward, attempting to catch up to her once again. He then went into a fast just about to go into the spin to begin a Fated Circle when all of a sudden Beatrix disappeared. He looked around, wondering where she went until Seymour warned them all to be on their guard.
Leon quickly raised his gunblade to the ready, though there was very little he could do as the corrupted Paladin collided with the ground and crimson blades erupted from below. He blocked as many of them as he could but took a good number of hits. Right after that Yuffie landed and unleashed a massive explosion that knocked off his feet and to the ground. He was forced to dive out of the way of a pillar of fire that then erupted from beneath him.
'I don't have much left, still I have to keep fighting.' He thought as he yet again charged toward Beatrix.
He was forced to dodge several more pillars of flames as he closed the distance between the two of them again. He then quickly went into a 360-degree slash and was surrounded by spheres of fire which then quickly closed in on Beatrix and exploded, hopefully catching her in a Fated Circle..

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Angel Grove .:. City}
Bobbi bit her lip, watching her Crystal Spires combine with Demyx's water spouts to shake up the battlefield a little.
I don't think this is going well, she thought, especially when three of the attackers vanished. She couldn't keep up with everything, all she knew was suddenly Axel, Yuffie, and the one-eyed woman were gone, and she felt a tingle of "holyshortchangenotgood" run down her spine. Then Seymour shouted a heads-up...
The Archer let out a yelp as Beatrix's spell slashed up from below, knocking her into the air and shredding cloth and flesh with ease. She barely had a moment to register how much being diced hurts like a mofo when Yuffie's explosion knocked her around. She thumped across the broken concrete a few times, finally stopping when her back smashed up against a jut of the street too large for her to bounce over.
As she lay there groaning, her blood pooling about her and her vision whiting out from pain, she felt the concrete heat up under her torn flesh.
Sunnovabi--"GYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
She shrieked in agony as one of the pillars of flame from Axel erupted directly beneath her, burning her and increasing the amount of general pain until she was about ready to pass out.
Not... yet... she thought angrily, pushing her torn and burned body to a kneeling position as she allowed the Frost Balm to cover her wounds. With how much damage she had taken, it was practically coating her entire freaking body at this point... I'm gonna take you mother farters down with me.
Demyx was kind of offended that his super awesome hiding spot wasn't any good at keeping him safe from a general magic spell. Right when Seymour called out, he summoned a shield of water about himself, just a dome covering him from all sides and above.
Except below.
The Climhazzard took him by surprise when the crimson blades knocked him around. He managed to keep enough hold of his shield that Yuffie's non-elemental explosion didn't do much, and he was protected from knocking into things. All in all, could have turned out worse.
And then Axel's flame columns started shooting up out of nowhere.
"Oh no you don't, Axel! That me and ice-chick's thing. Get your own awesome move!" he growled, and began countering the flame-spouts with a repeat of his water-spouts.
Right about then was when Kyle's spell went into effect, and Bobbi watched as the earth apparently erupted all around. She stared at the spectacle for a moment, not quite sure what happened until she felt a wave of reassurance from Shiva, and a general idea of what had happened.
Then she remembered Kyla's communication earlier, which she hadn't had a chance to respond to.
Kyla, you might want to see about that containment thingy, she thought, trying to direct her thoughts through the Trinity Charm. I dunno if we can take much more of this. Just let me know what I need to do.

[Terra : Angel Grove : City]
Terra jumped into the air, moments after the attacks of Beatrix and Yuffie made contact with the earth. She watched as soon the whole area was covered in the flames of Axel and the shaking that was done by Kyle's attack. She continued up into the air, as to avoid any of the debris falling from the earthquake. When she stopped and turned around, she cast a Gravity spell on the field, making it harder for the Earthlings to move or dodge any incoming attacks.

[Kyla: Angel Grove: Streets]
This went from bearable to worse. 3 canons were obviously more trouble than they first appeared. If only she had seen them coming from above- she could have erected some kind of obstacle- no matter. Like everyone else, Kyla was enveloped by the triad attack. With her Warding Lotus having just run out- the effects of that attack were as painful as they could have possibly been. Seymour’s warning came too late and she was engulfed first by dozens of energy slashes- then non-elemental energy, finishing with a column of fire!
The pain was awful- though in comparison to attacks before- it wasn’t the worst. It was certainly up there though! Everyone was pulling their final Hail Mary’s all over the place. Kyle gave everything he could before passing out. Everyone who was still able was now charging who ever remained of their opponents. But everyone was close to running on empty- that or hurting, or both.
Bobbi was right, it was now or never, but there were only 3 left in her sights. Where was Axel? Where was he hiding?
' I'll begin, but I need Axel. He’s hiding somewhere- I need all four of them in my sights, and preferably close! They defended Terra before- do you think we can lure them to her side again? '
With Haste still on her, Kyla was using the most of it and finishing the details of her own Hail Mary, while of course, keeping some practical pictomancy ready. If they just got Axel out, she could maybe use the practical pictomancy to move him into position- hopefully. She strained against the Gravity spell which made her limbs feel so heavy. Now all that was left was gathering all the power she had left, and then some from Amy- and whoever else wished to lend her their strength.
' Amy- if you can- try to get closer to me. '
Kyla was honestly not sure how it worked. This sharing of energy- or power. Whatever it was, she hoped it would start doing it’s thing once their hearts were unified in purpose, and within a close proximity. Shooting directly for Terra would be difficult, she's so fast and agile. Axel could teleport. Yuffie was insanely fast, and Beatrix was like a tank! They needed 2 miracles. 1- get them closer together, and 2, actually have this plan work.
Whatever happened next, they needed this battle to end- before friends started killing friends.

[Dani :: Angel Grove :: Outside the Church] Dani ground her teeth together as her attack ultimately failed. She watched her chakram get hit with the fire spell and caught it quickly. She spun and watched Terra make a flare spell and flipped backwards in order to dodge the flares. “This is not good…” Dani said out loud to herself. Little did she know that it was going to get worse. While Dani was distracted, two of the canons decided to smash into the ground with so much force that a huge explosion went all around the group. Dani, who was not paying attention, felt the blast and was forced backwards as some of her clothing ripped apart. She eventually hit a car and it bent in a little from the impact. Dani had never felt this much pain in her life and tried her best to not scream her head off. She felt tears fall from her eyes uncontrollably and was blinded for a little while from seeing. ‘Get up!’ Leviathan shouted through Dani’s mind, ‘You cannot give up now! Not on my watch!’Dani groaned at the voice in her head, ‘Leviathan, it hurts too much. How am I supposed to attack these people when they are stronger then me?’ ‘Feel the magic within you’ Leviathan spoke cryptically before disappearing into a corner of Dani’s mind. Dani thought for a moment before standing and looking straight at Terra. She would need something in order to attack Terra. As she thought about this, she suddenly felt gravity start to make her even slower than before and Dani had to try and dodge the fire pillars that spouted up around her. Those fire pillars gave her an idea. Dani ran as fast as she could with the gravity in effect and aimed both of her hands at Terra. Her hands suddenly gained a light blue tint to them before firing off a single geyser right at Terra. At the same time another geyser appeared from the ground that went straight up from under Terra. If Terra didn’t move, she would be hit by both of the new geyser attacks. After both of the attacks, Dani was sent down to her knees due to her fatigue. The new magic was not simple to her yet and was mostly experimental. Dani did not have a lot of attacks left or a lot of moves. [Dani has unlocked Geyser Hands and Ground Geyser]

[Amy : Angel Grove : Outside the Church]
Where did they go? Amy looked from one side of the battlefield to the next, but there was nothing; the moment dragged on, and although it didn't last very long it seemed to Amy as if it lasted much longer. They were going to attack again, it was just a matter of where from, and what manner they would re-appear. Her grip tightened on her guns.
Seymour's warning drew her attention to the skies above. Amy backed up a few steps. "Climhazzard!"
"Gauntlet!" Amy had no idea what either one of those attacks did, but they had announced them, and on instinct she dodged, rolled, picked herself up, and ran. She had managed to avoid the initial attack (Climhazzard) by being already in motion, but she wasn't so fortunate with Yuffie. Impossible to dodge, and non-elemental, Gauntlet nearly knocked her into the air, and yet... it was livable.
The shock of not being badly injured stopped her momentum, which was a bad idea- three enemies had disappeared, not two, and the third attack followed the others. An eruption of fire clipped her side, pushing her close to another which was narrowly avoided by a quick dive and roll to the side. The ground began to shake violently (Kyle's attack), and Amy was brought to her knees, then knocked unceremoniously onto her back. It didn't damage her, but the buildings... the rocks lifting into the air. Considering the force was that of a volcano erupting, the debris were considerable. Amy rolled to the side to avoid a rock the size of her head. His attack wasn't merely a quake, but an energy explosion, much like Yuffie's Gauntlet had been.
An unfamiliar voice (Bobbi's) broke through the confusion, followed by Kyla's, asking her to get closer. The Haste was still in effect, but something warned her it wouldn't last much longer. Picking herself up, Amy spotted the pictomancer and headed toward her, dodging the continuous fire eruptions as she went. The Haste wore out completely moments before she reached Kyla, and though she was still moving quickly it felt slow and awkward being back to her normal speed. More than likely, Terra's gravity spell was slowing her down as well.
"This has gotta end," Amy said, out loud and not through the charms. She held a hand out to Kyla, not sure why she did so. Neither needed the balance, and it certainly wasn't a good moment to shake hands. The thought of shared energy was still fresh in her mind. Like Riku had done...

[ Kyle ; Sora ; Kuja ; Ajora : Caribbean Sea : Brig of the Dutchman ]
The guards remained silent, regardless of Elizabeth's shouting, though there were a few sinister chuckles under their breath. Celia and the Black Waltz, however, never moved nor smiled; behind Celia's feet was what appeared to be a chest- one all-too-familiar to those familiar with the movie.
"They wanted us alive. That alone tells us they don't plan to kill us... not yet, anyway," Kyle spoke up, his eyes darting to the hallway beyond the brig as the whistling drew nearer. It was strange- there were no spots for breath, as if the person had an endless supply of air. But Kyle had a hunch otherwise- the culprit was likely capable of whistling both by inhaling and exhaling.
"Though, it could just be that they want to torture us one by one. Considering who we're dealing with, it's safe to say that's more likely than the circus," Kyle continued without a smile or even so much as a reassurance. They were, for lack of a better word, damned. And lying to each other would only make it worse: they needed to realize how close they were to dying so their will to live would give them the strength to fight.
"I dunno, I hear you look rather dashing as a clown."
The whistling had stopped mere seconds prior as Ajora walked into the brig, still dressed in his flawless white suit with an amused grin on his face. He noticed Sora tense immediately, and also noticed Kyle... not. All the dragoon seemed to do was lock eyes with himself from his position on the ground.
"Alright, outta here," he said, turning to look at the fish-crew that remained and jerking his thumb in the direction he'd arrived. They grumbled but left, regardless, leaving the group with just Celia, the Heartless, and Ajora.
"Now, onto business," he began, turning away from James and facing the majority of the group- specifically, he eyed Jack, but kept his gaze light, dancing from person to person. "I'll be blunt. Hand over the Compass of Desire now and none of you shall die or suffer. By our hands, anyway."

[Joe: Caribbean Sea: Brig of Dutchman]
Joseph was glaring daggers at the replica, hand squeezing the rust-ridden bars tightly before letting go and backing away so he didn't punch bars. Knowing his luck, he'd scratch himself and give himself lockjaw. Not pleasant.
But that urge to bean Ajora in the face was so strong....
Compass of Desire? Jack's little compass that showed you what your heart desired most?
"Why do you want that? And why should we give it over so easily when you say 'our' hands? Your's and your whore's hands? The occupants of this ship? You're too vague, and I don't see much reason for us to give you what you want for nothing in return, b*****d." Mind, this was said through gritted teeth, as if it took effort not to scream, yell, rage, swear, and rush the bars. Which was very, very true.
