The man rolled his eyes. "Regardless of your past, your troubles, and what destiny you thought you had, you were fated to end up with the prince of Twilight Euphoria and overthrow the evil king. It is up to you whether or not you will suceed, and that is why I am here." he seemed to be directing that one statement at all of the group, as it could easily apply to them.

 she leaned back placing her hands on the floor behind her and looked over her shoulder to the man.
"so when will "we" come across such events and..."
her eyes narrowed as she looked at him. "who exactly are you, don't you think you owe us that much".

Kai looked at the girl, then at Chronos "..you may know our pasts, but I'd prefer if you didn't speak any more of mine....or the others that have things they'd rather not be reminded of.." His tone was friendly enough, but it did have a bit of warning in it. He then glanced at Hito, "Not really..and stop calling me that, my name is Kai."

Chronos let out a chuckle. "Well god hm? Does prevail against the prince stature. Unfortunately for all of you, your beliefs may be crushed as of now." He took a pause, clancing at each of the members. "There are no gods. They were all killed off by Zeng Hen in the great war that took place thousands of years ago, when Kurama the chosen one sided with gods of each of the 9 elements and the complete elemental gem in a plot to overthrow the king and restore Twilight Euphoria to it's former glorious state. This is where we sages come in." He pulled out a green gem from inside his shirt. "The sages are destined to be, once they have absorbed enough of the elemental spirits power, to become the new generation of gods. That is probably why your spirit allowed you to become a woman." he said to Debido. "It is inevitable that we will need to mate in order to restore the gods' population. Of course that is after we kill the king to ensure our children survive. That is, if you all pass."

she looked at chronos and stood up, she didn't seem as calm as had recently been.
in fact she seemed more angry. "what nonsense are you saying, your saying the people with elemental powers are likely to become gods, our pasts were nothing important?."
once again blue sparks formed in her hair. "rubbish" she replied through clenched teeth.
