Kaji looked really sad, tears would be in his eyes if they were not in water. "Okay..." he said quietly. He knew that she couldn't stay, but he didn't want her to go.

The soldiers realized Midori was gone, and one of them went to tell Makoto.

"I won't f-forget you either," Kaji said, still hugging Raine, not wanting to let her go.
"How the hell did she escape!?!" Makoto practically yelled at the soldier.
"I-I don't know. One minute she was there, the next, she wasn't..." the soldier said.

Raine stayed with Kaji for a while, not wanting to leave either.

Kaji continued to hug Raine, not wanting to let go. If the hug was to end, Raine would have to end it herself.
Makoto sent for a patrol or two to look throughout the city for Midori.

After a while, Raine let go of Kaji. "I'm sorry...but I have to go now..." She said sadly.

"B-bye..." Kaji said, trying not to cry. He wanted to swim over to her and not let her go, but he knew she would get caught sooner or later if she stayed.

Kaji went back to his bed and cried. He was glad that he got to see Raine and say goodbye. But he already missed her.
Guards were at the gate. More than before.
Midori was starting to get very worried about Raine. She and Travis were hidden in the seaweed beds she normally went to outside of Atlantis.
