Following Natasha back to the mansion Opal replied, "What's the phrase you humans use?.......'You just need to have faith'........'Just hope for the best'...." Opal paused in her thoughts for a moment. "That probably wasn't very comforting...." she said with a sigh.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dougal lifted his eyes briefly and watched Beelio for a moment in silence. "Xion wished for me to inform him of Adam's movement, " he said rising to his feet but keeping his head bowed. "Is there anything you wish of me before I return?"

Natasha laughed a little nervously. "But who do you pray to if god's out of action?"She headed for the library and began to rummage around the heavy books. "Oh I wish mum and dad were here, they'd know what to do." she sighed.
--
Beelio regarded Dougal. "Adam is problematic. I grow weary of having to run after that idiotic creature. My demons are working overtime." He ran a large bony hand over the back of his serpentine neck as he thought. "The mortal and doll are easy pickings while Adam is gone. I trust you will make use of this fact. I do not require you in Hell for now."

"...umm.....," Opal paused a moment. "....you pray to.....Jesus?.....Mary?.....other Saints....." She shrugged and sighed again at her lacking ability of comfort and knowledge.
As Opal took the books that Natasha discardes elsewhere in the room and the mention of her parents Opal said-without thinking, "Who knows....maybe there a spell you can use to communicate with them.....maybe even summon them....."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Yes, my lord," Dougal replied with a bow and the Shade leapt onto his back. Slowly he took a few steps backwards before turning around and making his way back to the mortal realm. Uncertainty rose in his heart and mind.

Natasha stopped momentarily. "I...." she then shoo her head. "no, no, that's probably a bad idea. Ah!" she held up a heavy purple-leather-bound book. "here it is."

Xion was sharpening his sword when Dougal finally returned. "Well?" he said without looking up at Dougal.
"Adam has left the group....Beelio wishes for the mortal and doll to be taken care of before Adam returns to them," Dougal replied. The Shade responded with gleeful laughter.
Xion grunted with distaste. "They better prove more of a challenge than what I think they are," he replied coldly as he readied himself to leave. "Lets get this over with."
He then grabbed Dougal by with shirt. In a flash they were gone but were back on the mansion's ground once more. "The scenery here is really starting to bore me," Xion mumbled followed by a smirk as an idea came to mind. "Are they inside?"
"Yes," Dougal replied.
"Where's Sin?" he asked.
"That way," Dougal said as he pointed towards the woods.
Xion nodded in response. "Well then..." he said. "Let's bring the place down." Immediately Xion's body pulsed with electricity. There were no warning shots this time around....no more games..... Bolts hurled through the ceiling and walls sending objects every which way.
Opal stumbled at the impacts. She tried to use her strings to direct some of the debris way from Natasha and herself but there was some much that the effort was becoming futile. At one point Opal basically threw herself on top of Natasha to protect her from an incoming beam.
Even though she felt no pain she still moaned. She could also tell there was a crack forming long her back where the impact hit. "Are....you alright?" she asked as she slowly raised herself off the ground and continued to try and direct the debris. "Probably best to find that spell....quickly," she said. Opal's body was quickly becoming a mess from the smaller pieces that flew by. She stood close to Natasha to try and shield her.
Dougal lowered his eyes at the chaos. His chest tightened. Somewhere his mind shouted Adam....danger! The thought startled him-why the hell was he thinking of the archdemon at a time like this?

”- Tell me why did they sent him there. He is not what they say he is -I’m sorry Niaro but you can’t do nothing with the faith of him. Father knows what is good for him even he knows that it hurts. -Then he shouldn’t do that on him and give him another chance. Maybe if I ….. -Niaro just remember to not do anything that will cost yourself. -I understand”
Niaro suddenly wakes up from her head ache and she suddenly notice that someone was holding her and she then saw Sin. She got frightened and then when she heard her voice she followed her order and then looked at her. She then looked down as a signal of that she was sorry. She knew that Satan could use her to track the other relics and she was the only one with a bit angelic energy.

Natasha screamed in shock as the mansion seem dot suddenly arrupt with lightning bolts and was thankful for Opal protecting her. She smace dher head as she fell but made sure to sling tightly to the purpl-bound book. She nodded quicly. "Thankyou Opal. Quick get into the cellar - we'll be better protected down there." She hurried down teh corridors and ndown some stairs, finding the cellar enterance. she hurried down and promptly did her best to barricade the door. "Better act fast!"

Sin looked down at aisling and wished she could talk more. "Listen, I can't let you return to Father. You're too useful. So you're staying with us. we're not going to hurt you, ok? Besides you're useful we need your help."

(I'm sorry but I'm Niaro not Aisling) Niaro looked at her and she just didn't understand what she was saying. "Who are us ?" She just tried to get away "Please don't let me go the way that is not right" She had no mouth to defend herself.

((hehe-perhaps I'll find a way to bring Aisling back into this somehow......*plots*))
Opal followed with out any protest. "I'll protect the entry," she said. "You just find that spell."
"They're moving.....lower," Dougal replied-his eyes closed to better concentrate. The sound of Adam's voice in his head almost made him jump. What trickery is this? he wondered.
The lightning paused momentarily. "It would be better if they would just hurry up and die," Xion remarked.
Dougal wasn't paying much attention. Hearing Adam's voice in his head troubled him. What kind of link did he have with him? Feelings stirred-both unknown and yet somehow familiar. He wasn't sure what possessed him to send the following message......
It was a mistake to leave your friends alone, archdemon.
Xion was already entering the mansion when he shouted at Dougal. "Move," he ordered with his sword and whip drawn. "Unless you rather be a feast for my pet."
Dougal, thoughts interrupted, looked down at the Shade beside....grinning....hunger once more in it's eyes. A chill went down the young half-demon's spine. You should have known, Adam. When it comes to Xion......lightning can always strike twice. That was the last Dougal spoke as he darted up to Xion.
At the still nearly fresh grave a maiden stood. Pale blue feathered wings fluttered gently as she knelt down to the headstone. Wavy brown hair blew in the sudden breeze that also caused her soft blue gown to dance. Sapphire blue eyes gazed down at the name roughly inscribed. Her hand slowly traced the letters. Slowly she rose......
Brother.
Silvery white butterflies fluttered around her making her practically a vision in the chaos. She wasn't a fighter.....she wasn't even dressed for combat and her abilities were limited. She knew she took no chance against the demon warrior, but she had to get to her brother....to help him....somehow.....
Dougal paused inside the mansion when he finally felt her presence. "Sister?"
Xion froze in his steps. The problems just keep coming.... He lowered his weapons slightly and turned to Dougal. "Change of plans, boy...." he snarled. "Prove your worth by taking care of the lasses below. I'll take care of the guest-quickly."
"But its my-" Dougal began to protest but Xion raised his sword to the boy's throat. The tip cut him slightly and blood slowly trickled down.
"Kill them or I'll kill you," Xion said with lightning flashing in his eyes.
Dougal took one step away and nodded silently. He brushed pass Xion as he made his way to the stairs to the cellar. Xion looked down at his pet who came up beside him. "Watch him," he ordered. The Shade obeyed and disappeared from sight.
Xion made his way back outside. The young angel dressed in blue stood before him. "So you're the infamous sister....." he said coolly. "You must have a death wish if you've come to die twice, Aisling."
Aisling's bravery waved when a bolt of lightning came close to her. A squeaked escaped her and she covered her ears. One of her butterflies fluttered by and Xion quickly snapped with his whip. The small creature fell....turning to silvery dust in the wind. Even though it wasn't truly alive....more of an extension of herself and she could easily create more...the sight still sadden her.
((Wow....I wrote a lot....)) O_O

(he he this is interesting) Niaro looked at her and then nooded. She took her hand and placed it in her hand. Her fingers was blooded and then she went into her mind and then spoke to her. She spoke with a voice of frightened. "I'm sorry my lady for my act. My lord said to me to watch over the relic and I didn't fulfill his order....." She then looked down "You can escort me to your father or you can punish me for my mistakes I have done." She then took her hand away and then stood ready. "Please don't hold back"

Adam nodded at Dougal's message, his heart swelling with hope that he would remember them. he stood up and shook off the pain fo his few injuries to conentrate on teleporting over there. as he began to leave he spotted the glowing from of Gabriel and the air changed pressure, like a thunderstorm arriving. There was suddenly a mass erruption of flame, begging form gabriel and spreaidng out like an inferno over the demons. He teleported to the sound of demons screaming, and icy feeling settled in him. Gabriel..what are you becoming? he worried. He arrived at the mansion and ran to help.
--
natasha nodded and unfolded the bok on teh floor, linking arms with Opal just inacse the teleportation spell actually occured midway through tehir actions. She started to read- her voice jumping slightly at each crash and clatter above them.
--
Sin gave an exasperated sigh. "you listen here. I am now your new master - got it? I order you to do what i say."

Dougal grabbed and tossed aside what debris he could. He jumped multiple steps at a time. A hissed lightly in annoyance and yet...somehow glad that there was a barrier still. Feelings in his chest were tightening again, but ignored it with a quick kick to the blockage in his way.
Opal used every bit of strength she could muster to keep the enemy from entering the cellar while Natasha read for the spell. And somehow....she felt something happening to Gabriel.....something that made her feel cold.
Aisling dared a glance at Adam's arrival as she dodged the bolts of lightning. She smiled, briefly wondering his reaction to her appearance, and then turned her attention back to Xion who also took notice of the archdemon's presence. He muttered a curse, and somehow he felt this turn of misfortune was somehow linked to young half-demon.
"Help them!" Aisling called to Adam as she continued to get in Xion's way and keep him distracted......at least for as long as she could. She was more of a messenger with some minor healing abilities than a warrior. For a moment she wished she was a ghost still.....at least then her abilities would have been more useful.

Niaro looked at her and then remained silent. "My lord will not be happy" She then looked at her "But I have no free will and if this is my punishment..." She then tried to get away and manage it but instead of running she bowed down and then looked at her "Tell me what I shall......." She falls down and looks at her. She points at the direction of the mansion and writes with her blooded fingers. "Mixed energy and intention in the air...."
