(Jad is a very loud person... An opposite of the rest of his race, since the original Pryesians were quiet, composed, elite individuals who followed strict rules and regulations. Jad, on the other hand, never bothered to learn such things of his race... just about the 'fun' stuff they had... and their history. Culture bores him. It would be noted that the Pyresians actually harnessed 'celestial' energies before their downfall. There were two notable technologies that stand out. The amazingly powerful Celestial Cannon, and the Celestial Blade. The former was part of the Jupiter, and the latter was part of a weapon called the Prism Cannon.)
"I'm Doctor Kaito... I spent a few years trying to get into this ship in Sentinel Facility before that lunatic barged in with one of my excavators and took control of it. I worked with Dr. Len, if that helps... I returned his android and cyborg to him recently..." Kaito explained, "So... who are you?"

Marth briefly considered his past. "Humans call me Marth. Eseptian."
Unsure if the human wished to ask anything else, Marth stood aside in the hall to allow Kaito to pass. He certainly didn't care one way or the other. Marth hung his head low, staring at the pattern of the floor, arms folded across each other. Tail drooping.

"I like the solitude," Marth replied with a huff of breath. He felt... almost depressed. Which was weird, considering that he had never been that way before.
But Marth suppressed the odd thoughts to be examined at another time. "I like the quiet, the tranquility. But the captain seems to enjoy other atmospheres."
Aware that, the scientist's questions might pertain to a bit more vague scale, Marth chuckled before he added, "I'm here in the first place because my captain crashed his ship into another, and now we're forced to work off that debt. The Pyresians fall into this somehow or another; I really don't care."

After about an hour's worth of puzzling out various things, Layla now had the complete basic structure of Eclipse's figured out on a blueprint. It would be another android like the Myna units, although, this particular robot had no weapons and no definite power source. What use could such a creation possibly be? This IS Layla we're focusing on, don't forget, she can be rather unpredictable at times, and so are her creations. Layla headed back to the automated factory where the Mynas were built, and started her work on building it's frame. 'I'll have to go back to Syberius for some materials...for both a Shivasai crystal, and some Mithros...I'll leave soon.'
((Mithros (pronounced "Mee-throwse" ) is a type of metal only found in the depths of Syberius's inner layers, it's resistant to and reflects almost any kind of energy-based/laser attacks, it's quite hard to melt or damage with fire-based as well. However, said metal is very rare to find and quite hard to work with.))

"Well...I should probably be on my way now...I need to find one of those crystals.." Vexis said a bit unsure of things, then started to search for the exit.
Victor looked over the rims of his glasses a bit incredulously at Vexis. "Oh? You're going out there alone with all those mutants on the prowl? You've barely even recovered from that last attack! How do you expect to do such a thing?"
Vexis hung her head low, it DID seem rather foolish and risky, but she had no choice."I'll manage somehow, I've done stuff like this before...although not quite to this extent of risk..."
"Hmm..." Victor pondered for a minute, a humorous looking expression on his face as he thought. "I know! You could take Gunther with you on your journey! He could fight off any Mutants that bother you!"
The dark misty form of Gunther phased through the wall next to Vexis and Victor, re-solidifying into the annoyed looking shadow man. "Say WHAT?! What are we having Gunther do!?"
Vexis chuckled a bit, she already had taken a liking to these people. "That could work, as long as Mr. Gunther doesn't mind..." Vexis said rather teasingly, looking at Shade with her 'puppy-dog eyes' type expression.
Gunther sighed, shaking his head slightly. "Fine, whatever. I'll go." He replied, rather resigned.

"Yes... Jad seems to keep only the halls he uses blaring with his music... luckily every door in this ship is practically an airlock, so sound never carries when you leave a section... This ship seems so... cold, doesn't it? Harsh with these white halls and polished black floors... Though there is a subtle pattern under the polish in grey... like... ellipses, aren't they?" Kaito said thoughtfully, "I studied this race for a great deal of my life... their remnants, ruins and other things... what do you know of the Pyresians? do you want to know anything about them?" Kaito asked helpfully. The man was possibly the only historian of the race.
(Kaito ignored the statement of debt, since he was less interested in such things...
Interesting material, hiddo. Bierium, the material the Pyresian ship is made of, is immune to impacts due to slight elasticity, and absorbs energy. It has a threshold of what it can hold, but the energy stored in the material can be tapped as a power source. basically enemy energy fire will help power a Pyresian ship. Enemy ballistics are ineffective... but energy buildup in Bierium can be... bad... The Infinity unit's armored exoskeleton in Sentinel {yes, it is being built as the RP is going, just very slowly... MAI and DAMI are higher priorities at the moment.} Is made from mostly Bierium...)

Marth shrugged, but did not cease frowning. "I care not for the race. Once we've accomplished the goal of locating yet another ship, I, my sister, and our captain will not stay with this group long after. I know nothing of the Pyresians, either, save that the only being of the culture that I know is quite eccentric and unpredictable. I've... not been in any registered galaxy for most of my life away from Eseptos."
Marth once again made to let the scientist pass him. He had no interest in anything at the moment, it seemed.

Kaito continued to talk with him, "Well, you see, the Pyresians existed long before other races took to the stars. notably humanity, but many other common races today. They had a vast area of the galaxy and were the dominant race for at least a million years... They developed technology so advanced, current technology is still pales in comparison. They excelled at defense, and focused their energy into single devastating attacks. Their home world, Pyrese, is still around. a rather inhospitable little sphere too close to a sun to be habitable, but scientific discoveries show that this planet is merely the unusable material the Pyresians left behind. The Jupiter, a ship often shown in carvings in ruins among billions of class M worlds, was their homeworld after they stripped their world bare. all findings show that their race was a strict, powerful and noble people... But they were also quite selfish. Governed by their own laws, they destroyed less advanced races making forays into their territory... They were unfriendly, unyielding and rigid. And their machines were their enforcers, killing any who dared stand against them... But then, they were killed by a race they underestimated... One that still exists..."

Nina looked down at Ion in his bed. He was sweating a lot but then Rin and Ren picked him up and carried him away. Nina sighed then turned back to Blake. "I'm sorry you got all burnt up. As soon as possible, we'll get you to a real hospital..."
