Oh come on, she silently grumbled, barely able to keep herself from rolling her eyes. "Then you should be honest about your opinions," Antony said bluntly while standing up, glancing over at Rex before raising an eyebrow at him.
She was quite surprise that Rex was unable to speak his mind or express what he wanted.
Picking up her lap top, she slid it into its bag and then slung the strap over her shoulder. "It was nice meeting you all, and I'm in 30 if anyone cares to visit." Antony stated, looking between Avery and the deer girl before moving her gaze to Rex for a moment.
The tattooed woman shook her head, smiling slightly before heading out of the building and back to her duplex.

"Me?" Emerwyn breathed deeply. "Well, we're in a similar situation, I suppose. My ship crashed near here... a long time ago. I'm sorry that this had to happen to you - both of you." she regarded them both. "It is not fair, not right..." her voice cracked.
Emerwyn nodded to Antony when her glance came her way, letting her be. She wasn't going to come in the way.
"I-I'm sorry..." she said again. Her whole body faltered, and she stumbled into the table Maybe... she should head back to her room...
"My book...." That's right. Her book was there. She said it out loud. She shook her head at herself.
She looked at Rex and Avery again, her eyes sad.
Then, she turned, without a word, and walked slowly out of the cafeteria, to wander the village. She couldn't go inside, not yet.

"Bye, Antony," he said to her when she stood up, and watched her leave.
Avery had to agree with Emerwyn... it wasn't right, and it wasn't fair for them to be stuck on this island. At least they didn't get shipwrecked, though... that would have been worse. Even more people would have been stuck here. "Oh, see you later, Emerwyn," Avery murmured, hoping she was alright.
It seemed like everyone was leaving. Avery figured he should go find his... duplex. Maybe it had a shower; at least he could wash up. Avery quickly ate the rest of his food and, when he was full, he looked over at Rex. "I'm going to go and try to find my duplex and have a shower. Maybe I'll catch you later, and we can talk about what you found out..."
Avery stood up and took care of his plate and silverware before leaving the cafeteria, heading out to check out the upper duplexes in search of his own.

Chubbs made his way to the cafeteria, he was clean and clothed and his facial hair was trimmed to his liking once more. His walk was long and slow, hands hid in his pockets and the brim of his cap his his face as he watched the ground where he walked. His stomach urged him to go faster but he was in no rush, he'd eat soon enough.
He wasn't feeling his usual chipper self, he decided to stay in his duplex, feeling that trying to stay human would be the best way to stick it to Moreau. But it made him feel like a child, relying on the services of the freakin jerk.
Chubbs pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it. Cigarettes always chilled him out and he sighed in a relax way. Pushing the door open to the caafeteria, he made his way inside, looking pale and half the man he used to be.

Kim still felt a bit... odd, after the last events that had happened. Why the hell had she reacted this way... ? She still couldn't understand it, and those present then would probably think she was a few nuts short of a bucket now. But since when did how people thought of her matter *this* much ?
Hunger had finally drove her out of her duplex, and she was eating sushi when Chubbs entered, having found a way to remotely use her chopsticks. She didn't even notice how something she hated actually tasted quite good, being ratter lost in her thoughts.

Chubbs took up a tray as he puffed the smoke from his black buttony nose, shifting along the foods at the counter. He didn't know how well anything would stay down, so he grabbed some pumpkin soup and a couple of bread rolls to try. He grabbed something decent, like a big plate of irish stew and mashed potato in case the soup looked like it would work.
He shuffled over to a table and looked up, finally noticing he wasn't the only one in the cafeteria. He stood there for a moment, wondering if he should do the group thing or sit on his own. Deciding the later, deciding not to interupt the womans meal, he sat at a table with his back to a wall and enjoyed his cigarette before jumping into his food.

Kim only noticed his presence after he sat, and glanced at him idely while dunking a roll of fish into the sweet and sour sauce. She pondered weither or not she should go and talk to him... But after last time... She was a bit paranoid something wierd would happen again.
...But there was no reason something should happen. Something was seriously being ******** up in her head. He didn't look all that cheerful either...
Twirling the sticks in one hand expertly, while avoiding the finger that threw her off, she decided a wave might be a good start.

Chubbs wasn't one to pass up a smile and waved back, least she was friendly. He had to blink at her finger, he didn't mean to, it was just unexpected. He continued to smile and puffed on his cigarette as he relaxed. She had to have been out in the wilds if she was partly changed already.
" That was the worst camping trip ever hey?"

"That's a mild way to put it." Milder than she would, anyway. A couple of courses in various languages came to mind.
"But at least it's all over... right ?" She sure hoped so, sighing a bit and instinctively trying to push a bang of hairs behind her ear... only to remember that there wasn't much of an ear to begin with. At least THAT no one could see.

Chubbs stood up with a stretch and an audible crack went through the cafeteria. He winced and groaned and regretting doing that.
".... ow"
He walked towards the door, taking a puff on his smoke one last time and flicked his cigarette outside. He was going to join the woman at the table, hopefully she wouldn't mind, he just hated shouting across the room. He didn't know if she liked cigarettes or not, so on the safe side he got rid of it. Walking back he picked up his tray and headed to her table where he sat across from her with a sigh.
" Hope ya don't mind, I just think shouting across the room would be silly"

Kim gave a ratter visible wince at the crack. Ouch, that sure as hell had sounded painful.
"That's allright with me... Are you allright ? That didn't sound very pleasant." For the first time in the last few days, she managed a genuine smile, even if it held a bit of worry.

Chubbs nodded as shuffled in his chair to the table. Adjusting his cap, he picked up his spoon and scooped up some soup.
" Two months lying on the ground wasn't good for me, I think my back just was going back into place"
He rubbed his back a litte with his free hand and took in a mouthful of soup. He swallowed it and it felt weird hitting his empty stomach. He figured if he ate some more it'd feel better. Taking up another spon full, he stopped and blinked and then held out his hand to the woman.
" Oh sorry, um... names Chubbs... or David, that's what Joliette refers me to"

"Im still amazed im in one piece." She glanced at the hand for a moment, and wondered just how in hell she could do this... One of her hand reached out for the shake, but her finger kept getting in the way... it took her a few try to get a good grap, red tinting the pale skin on her face.
"My name's Kim... Pleased to meet you."

Chubbs tried to help her by twisting his hand to suit her. He smiled seeing the blush, it was kind of cute. He gave her a hearty hand shake and looked at her finger and how long it is.
" Glad you are too Kim"
He smiled and watched her finger, it reminded him of an animal, the name he couldn't remember.
" I nearlly didn't make it, my own damn fault really, I thought a damn snake was a tree branch"
Picking up his bread roll, he dunked it in his soup and took a big bite.
