Mitsu only nodded as she scooted off the bed onto the futon. "I'll sleep here so Tobi won't bother you." She patted the dog on the head before pulling him close in a hug. The canine didn't seem to mind as he allowed her to pull him into her arms. She sat there for a short moment before she attempted to go to sleep. Unfortunately sleep never came. Between hearing strange noises all night and being afraid that she would only experience the same dream again she laid awake.
Far too soon dawn started to break and Mitsu was a mess of frustration. She sat up rubbing at her tired eyes, dark circles lining underneath them. At her movement Tobi seemed to stir as well though he did nothing more than open his eyes. He would wait for her to get up before he bothered too. Perhaps she would just lay back down and go to sleep?
With a sigh Mitsu looked about the room, not sure what to do in the mean time since everyone was asleep. Well....at least it had seemed so. The soft sound of shoes echoing in the hallway caught her attention and she looked up in time to see Blade passing by her door. Shortly after Riyo had followed him and Mitsu was left to wonder what was going on. For a moment she thought about following she even gave it a good attempt. She stood to her feet and started toward the door but her legs were unsteady and she stopped at the threshold.
Her failed attempt, however, did not deter Tobi. He started to follow Mitsu and then continued on to follow behind Riyo. The door to the cottage had been closed behind the feline but there was a window cracked open beside it. Nimbly Tobi jumped up on the sill and started to wedge his nose in the window. All too soon he had moved the window open far enough that he was able to squeeze out. Once free he followed behind the girl, his small feet treading lightly hardly making a sound.
After a bit of walking Tobi was starting to feel ignore though it seemed they had come to a stop. He looked the place over wondering why they had come here but that only kept his attention for so long. Turning toward the two Tobi let out a rather loud bark to get their attention, sitting back on his rear.

With his mind elsewhere, Blade didn't realize he was being followed. He also never bothered to check over his shoulder for that matter. Once he had reached the forge, his eyes were scanning the building as a whole as he slowly approached the place. Aside from some old tongs and hammers, there really wasn't anything of interest on the outside. There was a side door in the area of the outdoor forge, so he suppose he'd try entering through there.
Before he could reach it, a sharp bark made him jump and snapped his mind back to his surroundings. Quickly turning around, he was surprised to find both Riyo and Tobi here with him. Had they really followed him from the cabin?
"Ah, good morning Riyo.. and Tobi," he blinked, seeming slightly distracted. His eyes shifted towards the door briefly, wanting to know what it was like inside before they fell back on the woman here, "How... are you feeling..?"
The thief could only assume that she had quite the hangover thanks to last night, but he had to ask anyway.

Riyo tried to motion for Tobi to keep it down before Blade noticed, but obviously it was too late. When he turned around, her hands awkwardly went elseware to make him think she wasn't following him.
"Uh... Not too great, honestly..." Her hands interlocked behind her back as she slowly approached. "W-what are you doin' out here so early?" Her eyes followed his to the side door. Was he gonna break into this shop or something?

Despite her attempts to make it seem like she wasn't following him, Blade was fairly certain that was the case. Either that or this was one hell of a coincidence. Though, at her question, he hesitated some while glancing at the door.
"Just... somethings I want to learn about basically.." he replied softly.
None of the others knew of his heritage yet, and he wasn't sure if it'd be a good thing if they did find out. But... the others didn't seem to be having issues with dragons here. There was a bit of tension when it dealt with the half dragon, Hanse, and some of the guards earlier, but they seemed to be fine with Durzo and Hakim.
"It's.. nothing special really," he added. Most likely him digging into his roots wouldn't be too interesting for Riyo anyway. He had no idea what sort of man Dirk was, and he didn't even know if there still was anything inside this place. It could turn out to be a big let down. Still, he turned and approached the door, and as he suspected it was locked. For a moment, he hesitated about picking it. He told himself he wouldn't be doing any stealing or whatnot while he was in the Dragons' city... but this place belonged to his grandfather. Would it really be considered trespassing? It probably depended on who he asked.
"What about you?" he asked as he drew out a lockpick so he could start working at the lock.

Gee, way to be vague Blade.
"No, of course it's nothing special. You just snuck out of the cottage to apparently find this building and now you're trying to break into it." She paused, realizing that she basically just admitted what she had been trying to hide. Oh well.
"... Just following you. Now that it's obvious." Her eyes watched as he picked the lock, curious to what he was expecting to find in there. "Seriously though... Why are you being so secretive?"

After hearing the lock click, Blade straightened up and glanced towards Riyo. Rubbing the back of his neck, he shifted in place while contemplating his reply.
"I'm... not really used to being all that open about myself," he admitted. It was why the others knew very little about him aside from his personality and some of the things he enjoyed doing. They were his friends, yes. But he found it extremely hard to tell them about himself.
"You could probably blame my upbringing on that one."
The thief opened the door and peeked inside, realizing he still didn't really answer Riyo's question again. Pausing, he let out a sigh and glanced back at her and struggled to get the words out, "This... place once belonged to my grandfather."
"At least... that's what I was told..." he added while looking back towards the entrance. Inside was rather dusty. His own house probably wasn't in much better condition now that he thought of it. But it was not empty. Furniture was still there, as were various decorations around and other objects. If it weren't for the fact that dust was all over the place, one wouldn't think it was abandoned.

Why was it so bad to be open with friends? First it was Neko keeping secrets, now Blade. Not that she planned on telling them every little thing that went on in her mind, because in all honesty, that would end poorly... But why was it so hard to tell them the important things?
Then she finally got some kind of answer... Even though it only opened more questions. His grandfather, huh? The father of his father? What had he been doing here?
As Blade walked in, Riyo quietly peeked inside and looked around. "I guess... He's not around anymore..." She said as an observation of how unused the place appeared.

Well, so much for walking into a vacant room. When poke entered the room she saw yuki had already occupied half the bed. He seemed to be asleep at the moment, though she felt sorry for the guy; he was going to be hurting tomorrow...
Shrugging, she walked over the bed hoping she wouldn't wake yuki in the process, slipping under the covers and keeping a moderate distance. In seconds, she was asleep
------------------------- (it's a line :3)
Considering this was the first night she had been sleeping in a comfy bed for weeks, her body wasn't about to let anything disturb her. Even the events that were happening in the next room didn't wake her.
Morning had the fin-hybrid still sleeping away, dead to the world. However her dreams had been much more pleasant than everyone else's, containing much punching, kicking, fighting, battle cries and generally poke beating the everlasting crap out of suto and shun. The dream ended with her standing on top of suto and shun, holding her pole and laughing manically at how she completely kicked their asses.

Tobi sat back for the most part, just watching Riyo and Blade interact. Once the door had been opened, however, the little dog let himself in. Walking between the thief's feet Tobi entered the room his nose to the ground. He sneezed a few times from all the dust but that didn't keep him from sucking more up his nose.

Exhausted from no sleep, Mitsu made her way to the living room in a zombie like fashion. She stared about the place her eyes not really taking anything in as she flopped down on the couch face first. Blinking heavily for a few moments she began to wonder if falling asleep now would be a good idea.

"Hakim said he died a few years back..." he replied while looking around the place. There were a few weapons on display, and he could only assume they were the work of his grandfather. With the way the place was furnished on the inside, he figured that the man also lived in this place and used the outside as his sort of 'storefront'.
"I'm guessing the dragons just left this place as it was since his death..."
There was a sort of distant look in his dark red eyes as he observed the room. On the far end was a low bookshelf, with a few picture frames set on top of it. Making his way towards it, he slowly picked up one of the images.
Within the picture was a family. There was a large, fairly robust looking man with golden horns, dark hair, red eyes, and a pair of leathery wings. He had his arm lightly wrapped around a human woman, brown haired and green eyed and fairly dainty compared to the half-dragon. Standing in front of them was a boy. The boy took on traits more of the father, and in a way, looked like a younger version of Blade... if it weren't for the fact that he had two tiny horn nubs on his head.
"..Dad...?" he uttered softly to no one in particular. He hadn't exactly seen his grandparents before now, and he certainly never saw any childhood pictures of his father.

"But why would he be..." Riyo had began to ask what Blade's grandfather would be doing living with dragons, but got distracted as she walked in the shop. All the weapons... It was rather impressive.
Then she heard Blade utter a word that sort of frightened her. Riyo's gaze darted back and forth to try and see who Blade was talking to... But there was nobody around besides Tobi and the two of them.
Noticing Blade was looking at something, she snuck up behind him and looked over his shoulder. "Woaah." She whispered in amazement, looking at the burly man with the wings and horns. It was quite a family...
"Is... That you Blade?" Her finger pointed over his shoulder to the child with the horns... But... Blade didn't have horns, did he?

Blade had nearly forgotten that Riyo was with him as he stared at the picture, causing him to jump as she pointed at the child in the photograph. His eyes were still fixed on it as he went and responded to her.
"No... that's.. my father.. many years ago."
It was strange seeing him like that. People have always mentioned he looked a lot like the man... sans the horns and slightly sharper canines he had. It was hard for him to remember what Lance had looked without seeing him splattered all over the ground with his mother so he never really knew how true that statement was until now.
"He.. did mention he grew up here..."
The boy's eyes had a sort of mischievous light to them as any kid might, whereas the large man had a kind expression despite his otherwise, intimidating appearance. He also noticed that at his hip was the very same sword that hung around his own that moment. The human woman seemed fairly cheerful, in a quiet sort of way. Over all it seemed like quite a nice family.
Something I don't have..
Shaking his head to himself, he tore his gaze away from the picture and set it back down.
"..I never met my grandparents. And my father never really had too much of a chance to tell me much of him."

Wait, if this was his family... and that was his father.. That meant...
"You're a dragon, aren't you?" It wasn't a question with a tone of shock. More of sheer curiosity as expected of Riyo. It's not like it bothered her that he was. She supposed it would explain a few things... But why was it such a big deal that he keep it secret?

"A part of me is at least," Blade replied, "For the most part I'm human."
Examining the room around, he picked up one of the weapons idly to examine its craftsmanship. It was a well-made blade for certain, though he supposed he should expect no less.
"You'd think... with a race as powerful and grand as the dragon I'd be more proud of that fact. But... generally people finding out has only gotten me in trouble. People.. tend to fear dragons," he explained, "They hear the stories of dragons raiding villages, eating people, burning things down and all sorts of destructive stuff and can't get past it."
It seemed to have been trouble for his own father as well, seeing how he had suspicions that the murder of his parents was some sort of dragon hunter.

Huh. Interesting enough...
Riyo watched Blade closely as he picked up one of the weapons, wondering what was going through his head right now.
She couldn't help but frown at the fact that his heritage got him in trouble... She knew a little something about that. "But... You wouldn't do any of those things..."
"That never does stop them though, does it?" Riyo glanced at the ground and sighed. She had never done anything to anybody when she was born or up until her sixth birthday... But because of some superstition, she was regarded with fear and loathing.
"The only thing you can do is prove them wrong... At the end of the day, they still won't believe you're different... But at least you will." The statement didn't make her feel any better, since she had failed miserably in that aspect.
