WB Turayza! So has anyone payed attention to the olympics? I have and I'm so glad that Michael Phelps has 11 medals! He beat the record! I really enjoy watching gynmastics, basketball and volleyball. I love the olympics in general. I just finished watching the Host. It was an amazing book, made me thing about life.

I have! ... Sorta. Michael Phelps is a little scary--but so far, the States are doing pretty well. I missed most of the gymnastics--I guess I'll catch up with that on reruns from the internet.
What're your favorite sports?

Turayza - by saying 'coloring the soft way' I mean using the 'soft brush' (which, let's say, blur the line at the edges) in a graphic program. The opposite is the 'hard brush' with crisp edges which can be used for making crisp lines, crisp shadows, etc. (I used the second type for making an avie art for Kitsune... well, actually I use it all the time, so I would like to know how to use soft brushes too! :3). I hope you understand now, even if I'm not very good at explaining.
Uh, well, I wasn't paying much attention to the Olympics so far (I am more concerned about the situation in Georgia). Mainly because of the different timezones. When in China they start playing we have like 3 a.m.. And since I like sleeping long, the only time I could watch some of the games was just before the noon. So far I was watching some of the swimming competitions. About Phelps - yes. xD I've seen his photo in today's newspaper. He's making a funny face with sticking his tongue out while taking off his swimming goggles. xD Funny guy but anyway, he's really talented. On the other side, it's a shame, really, that Poland got no medals so far (and our olympics group is about 250 people, so that's alot). I don't know what to think about it.
My favorite sports? It depends. xD I like figure skating and curling but those are winter sports... I also like swimming and archery.

My favorite sports? To play or watch? To play it would definately be soccer, field hockey and basketball. To watch, american football! Fivienne, it is sad that Poland hasn't won any, the olympics aren't over yet, so they have more chances to win! The Chinese are doing really well, especially in Gymnastics, at least we got Bronze and Silver medals, so that's okay.

Aha--I get it now. I use something like that, but I have to do everything with a mouse (stupid broken tablet >.>). I'm better at using a soft brush, ironically, but I can't draw clear figures :/
I feel like a lazy bum. -sits in front of the computer like a massive potato- On a crazy whim (or rather, because I needed the PE credits) I'm doing Cross Country next year. Oh joy.
I like Gymnastics 8D And in the Winter Olympics, Ice Skating and Skiing. -dances-

WB Ivy! I know I'm probably not going to be on for a while, life is just to busy. I just came back from warped tour! It was pretty awesome. I got burned though! confused When Rise Against came on, I wanted to see them up close right? So my boyfriend and I had to push through the crowd, we ended up right by the mosh pit. The mosh pit is the most scariest thing that I have been in my entire life, I am so glad that my boyfriend was there to like protect me from everybody, especially since I am so small. I got my haircut too! Its cute and a bit rockerish, since I got it done at warped and all.

Apologies about the ignorance (heh, heh) but what is a mosh pit? .__.
I feel like a nutter. I really have to stop the whole procrastinating thing...it's going to end up killing me someday. Really. -sighs pitifully-

You don't know what a mosh pit is?? eek eek Just Kidding! xp A mosh pit is when you are at a rock concert, in the whole crowd of people, these crazy kids start jumping around and pushing each other around. Imagine a stampede of horses, just with humans. They all push each other around in a big circle. It is super scary. Especially since I'm just under 5 ft. sweatdrop Don't worry about being ignorant though, if you aren't into the rock scene, you don't necessarily would know about it. I'm a huge procastinator also, always leave it at the last minute. And I call myself a Ravenclaw!
You know what is crazy? Ever since I hit college and got a boyfriend, my whole social life has gone up the roof. I usually get home really late and I even get to go places! Crazy huh? In high school, I was this goody two shoes who always stayed home and never did anything fun and adventurous. I like doing fun stuff now, is that such a bad thing? I'm just not stupid about it. This summer especially has been amazing with life experience and the like. I've done more stuff this summer than I have ever done in my entire 18 years of existence. I think this is what happens when you grow up though? Am I right? I mean, I'm still the biggest nerd ever (like that will ever change), I just have more fun with other crazy nerds who are like me! I mean, I don't hang out with popular people or anything, just with big college nerds, who don't want to be wallflowers anymore. I know I'm rambling on, its just that, I think, I'm really happy. I am actually happy with my life. That has never happened to me before. I mean next semester in 2 weeks, I have to crack the books, because I'm taking 3 super hard classes. Chemistry, math, sociology 204, and public speaking. Sociology 204 is the only easy class and fun class that I will have next semester.
By the way, did everyone hear about the extension of hbp? I was so mad and sad that they are pushing it to July! I was so looking forward to it this November. cry
Edit: I reached my 600th post!!

XD Yeah, I don't go to non-classical concerts...um...ever. .__.'
Hrmm...I dunno if I'd call it crazy. I mean, in college, you meet a lot of people that are your academic level (what a relief) because of all the entrance tests--but there has to be a big portion that still loves having fun! So you manage to enjoy life in new ways while still balancing all the duties of college (though it is summer now...) with the approval and maybe even help of all your friends. ^ ^
What?? They moved it back? Gah! Slackers. ninja
Okay, I'll tell LHH about it. biggrin

Yes, they did push the movie to July. I'm kinda glad they are taking their time, maybe polishing the special effects or including more things. And we have the Twilight movie coming out in mid-December to celebrate, as well as Jo's Fairy Tales in the fall.
I wonder if they will continue shooting straight through with Deathly Hallows? The 'kids' are getting to look mighty grown up. Luckily Daniel is staying in character as a 'midget in glasses' so he won't be towering over Ralph Fiennes.
On another note, please welcome and owl our newest Ravenclaw, Egerie, who apparently possesses a Time Turner. (Check out the date next to his name in the Roster).
And please join me in congratulating paraphernalia_101, who joins a highly exaulted company, having become a

Thanks! I suppose LHH you are right, wait for the better movie, I did think they were rushing it. I am looking forward to twilight and the tales also! Yeah Turayza I agree about you in that college thing, most of my friends though don't go to my school, they go to a community college while I go to a CSU. They are my high school friends.
