Im getting surprisingly better. One thing I learn about my body is that it heals quick on most circumstances. My head isn't pounding and my throat is less scratchy. Im so glad I didnt get any sicker...*knock on wood...*

TheRob Dr Hiei I'm not sure I've ever really been on a date.
In other news, my tummy hurts.
Hiei, buy me a reliable car that can make it to you and back and I'll take you out on a date. surprised My current car can't go too far. emo I have a pretty new car (2009), but I still can't go anywhere more than an hour and a half away. D: Apparently, the wires in the speakers are improperly shielded and will make a lovely, non-stop, extremely high pitched whining noise.
Since I go to between Jacksonville and Orlando a lot, I have to deal with a good half hour of this stupid noise. But I have found out that if I keep my car at a freezing temperature the entire way, I can save myself from the noise for about 15 minutes.
NEVER. BUY. HYUNDAI.
They know about this problem, but refuse to fix it. D: Greedy little... *mumbles*
It's always about cutting corners and maximizing profits! D=< Rawr.

@Zel- I told you, we shoulda done a Gaia Meet-up at the faaaaair! Too late now, though, I might actually have a date to the fair. i r so nervuz burning_eyes

King CrazyRob Mackencheese Everyone's sick crying and since we seem to enjoy date-talk, I went on a date! o: Those things are weird! xD Lol, how'd it go? It was sorta cuuuute. hehehe and I think I've got another one tomorrow. Just don't really know where we're goin! o: Ya know, Shari, I thought the same thing! Kat said that lunch dates with friends count....but I'm not too sure agree! Matt! Tell us how yer date went! :3 I feel ya, Zelexia! D: This one kinda happened on accident though, I think. sweatdrop I has a new Honda! Its cute as a button! And just got washed. I can see out of my windshields now! whee

TheRob Pookie - Wow, that's odd. When I get a new car, it better not make weird noises! *shakes fist* *sighs* They kept trying to tell me that it was cell phone interference. They even had the nerve to throw a piece of paper at me (that looked like it had been copies over many times before) that claimed that any noises were from cell phones. I know what cell phone interference sounds like, and it's not a constant noise!
Allow me to quote a reply someone posted about this lovely problem...
" My 2007 Limited Santa Fe had a high pitched whine at low volumes. Turns out - they all do! Hyundai is aware of the issue and has no plans to do a re-caIl. I contacted Harmon International (owner of Infinity) and discussed the issue. After my conversation, the local dealer (Ed Voyles in Marietta, GA) contacted me and told that Infinity had contacted them with a solution. The wiring harness that contains the audio cables to the amplifier was inducing noise into the cables because Hyundai did not use shielded cables for the amplifier inputs. The fix consists or removing the passenger seat, the center console and the radio and running new shielded audio ires to the amplifier and separated from the wiring harness. The noise was nearly eliminated and I am very thankful because it was driving me crazy! (even if your repair man can't hear it, it is there unless it has been fixed. I hope this post helps someone!"
My boyfriend and I also have a bit of a theory about this noise. It's one of those noises that's just high enough that older people can't usually hear it. We've actually tested this with his mother in the car. She couldn't hear it until the noise went down slightly. *sighs*
I'm almost tempted to say that it also has something to do with the satellite radio in the car. The noise will actually stop when I go under an overpass on the highway. So I get a half second break. D: I don't use the satellite radio, so I kinda want to tell them to take it out if that is contributing to the noise. But since they even deny that there is a noise, I don't think that's gonna happen.

You wouldn't happen to have $18k on ya? =P You do realize that no one will buy a car for the same price you purchased from a dealer, yes? Once its off the lot, whether you bought it new or used, the value goes down. And stop trying to figure out where the sound is coming from, admit that there is no sound. For, as we all know, there is no spoon.

I walked off the lot only owing $8k. It's a 2009 Elantra. There's no way I'm going to sell it to anyone at this point in time for anything less than $15k. =P It shall outlive the standard five year useful life!
