Arlen looked as if he was in heaven, purring deeply as he resettled himself ontop of Lily.

"Yeah, I love it when I get petted too." Lily teased quietly, not stopping her hands. "But if you wanted, I could get up and get you some cream or something... you must be hungry."

Arlen was too lost in the petting to do anything but nod slightly.

Careful not to disrupt him too much, Lily sat, then picked him up to set him on the couch. "Be right back." she murmured, and quickly fetched a small bowl of cream. Sitting on the couch again, she held it in her lap, hoping that Arlen wouldn't mind the taste.

Arlen sniffed at the bowl curiously, the only thing he had actually had to eat as a cat was a buffalo wing. He lapped it once to test it and then mewed happily before lapping the cream up eagerly.

Lily gave another quiet giggle, watching as he worked his way through the cream. "Good kitty." she murmured, stroking down his length as he drank.

Arlen purred and sat back after having drunk his fill, pawing at a few small drops he couldn't get to with his tongue.

Of course, that image set her to giggling again, and it lasted for some time. When she'd calmed, Lily smiled and set the bowl aside before bending to kiss the top of his head. "Feel better sweetie?" she asked quietly, going back to stroking his ears.

Arlen nodded, curling up in Lily's lap again and resuming his purring to the plissful petting he was recieving.

"You're easy to please in this form." Lily commented quietly, continuing her motions. "I'm glad Cerri made you another charm." Then she fell silent, an idle but content smile on her face as she petted.

Arlen snuggled up closer to Lily but otherwise didn't change his behaviour.

Finally, after a long time, Lily carefully shifted him out of her lap again, kissing the top of his head. "I'm going to go shower, okay?" she murmured, giving him a final pet before standing.
On her way up, she passed Cerri, who paused to make sure she was okay. Then the woman finished her downward trek, heading behind the bar to start a pot of tea.

Without Lily's petting to hold him in one place, Arlen hopped off of the couch and began to wander. He poked his head in a few places around the sitting area. Finally he made his way up and onto the bar unaware that he was leaving tiny soot footprints from his investigation near the fireplace, or that he had a light dusting of it on his fur.

Seeing him, Cerri gave a chuckle and shook her head, amused. "Honey... you're all dirty." she told him gently. "You'll need a bath now, and I know how much cats hate water. Also... I'll clean up the stuff on the floor, but you'll owe me." she teased.

Arlen tilted his head curiously at Cerri, obviously surprised that he had gotten dirty at all. Then somethign caught his eye and he hopped from the bar to the shelving behind it, carefully trying to make his way up the shelves.
