Edit:In Xenosaga O functions as X in most rpgs. X functions as go back. Triangle is nothing and Square is open menu.
Edit:I'm just referring to most games in general. Not specifically KH, KH's control set is original and is actually sensible.
I finished all three stories. I found Terra's the hardest. His final boss which is douche maximum. If you've gotten there you know what I mean. If you haven't. You may rage.
I normally just play the boards trying to get the rare commands. I've gotten the most on terras. I fail with every roll using Ventus and Aqua has like two.

I win all of them. I just don't get the commands I wants.
Braig was sauce easy. Aqua may be more magic oriented but her speed can make up for most situations. Seeker mines and square mines violate everything, her shotlocks are also great.
Vanitas in final annoyed me cause I died twice there and had to start from beginning. Which is why you may hate terras boss. One horrendously easy fight another more serious fight and a final a** rape fight where you have to rely on shotlock. I'm not kidding shot lock will save your a**s in his fights. Maxed Chaos Snake I found was the most useful.
This may hurt your feelings if you did ventus but aqua and terra don't get glide. In fact terra gets nothing and is solely reliant on consecutive air dashes.

Xenosaga just follows traditional japanese controls...this was the default in the original final fantasy imports as well *shrugs* An easy enough adaptation on my end.
