Sapphire walks behind the bar and grabs a wine cooler sighing. This was going to be a fun day.

*Li'ad decended in his cloud of fog and transformed to human shape infront of the Muffin, disipating his cloud and walking to the front door. As he steps inside he breaths a bit of a sigh of relief and nods lightly to Sapphire in greeting.* "Good afernoon Miss Sapphire. I am glad to see you up and well."

As he steps inside he breaths a bit of a sigh of relief and nods lightly to Sapphire in greeting.* "Good afernoon Miss Sapphire. I am glad to see you up and well." "Up yes, well not so much." Sapphire says grimacing as seh moves her shoulder. "How are you Li'ad?"

Sapphire asks in an offhanded manner. "Well you're still here, or so it seems. I guess he didn't damage you too much."

"Nothing I couldnt take care of with a nights rest and regeneration. Unfortunately he left in much the same condition." **Or better, but she doesnt need to know that part.** "I found him near the lake, not to far from here. Speaking of which, I should probably see o making sure the lake has thawed out by now. Wouldnt want that causing problems." *He kind of trails off into the secondary thought of the lake, trying not to sound concerned about the state the fight left him in.*

Sapphire says looking out towards the stage. "It's the physical effects that you can fix. You can't do anything about the mental damage. I think that's how he harms his victims the most. He surrounds them in darkness, beings who only know the light. He drives them mad. Much as he's doing to me. I had nightmares about him for a while. His darkness came and surrounded me, took control wouldn't let me go. At first there was nothing but darkness, but the more and more he came, the light started coming. I now know that the light is the only reason he hasn't consumed me yet. Or sent me off in the state of a madman." Sapphire looks at Li'ad. "I hope he left quite harmed, why did you say unfortunatley? Were you not expecting to have to hurt him?"

It wasnt long before I was attacking him with everything I had and he was returning blows with equal force.." *Li'ad's voice carries a bit of disapointment in himself in not being able to do what he had hoped to do.* "But you cannot let him get to you like that. You have the strength inside you to carry on despite his attacks on you, you just need to focus on that."

Do you not think that is the only reason, I haven't just given myself over to him? I could just go and find Torret, tell him to take me and stop the torture. I could do that, but I'm scared of waht will come of me. I'm scared taht he will turn me against everyone I hold dear. However, I'm terrified that the next time I fight him, I'll lose myself while trying to save me. I'm terrified that the light I use to fight against him will come and consume me. I don't know which ending I'd prefer." Sapphire says her eyes brimming as she drops to the floor behind the bar. "I don't know what I want." She whipsers leaning her back to the wall.

I can help you with your magic so the later of those never happens. And with time we can find away to get him to leave you alone, one way or another."

Will I be able to master the magic before he attacks again?" Sapphire asks leaning into Li'ad letting only a few tears fall before she reaches up and quickly wipes them away. "I want to see my godfather get married before I lose myself, to anything." Sapphire says leaning back. Marriage included in that.

"I cant promise you will be able to master your magic before he comes around again, mastering magic of any form can take years of practice and concentration. I can promise that you will be able to at least control it enough not to entirely lose yourself in it though."
