"It is a pleasure to meet you," Guan said, shaking his hand. "And sometimes the ceremony is a crazy old priest chopping off the left index fingers of the two and then sewing them onto each other. It's a strange planet we live on."

"That... is gross." Cerri decided, calling a pillow from one of the couches to her with magic. Then she reached out to attempt to swat Guan with it, trying not to smile. "Don't say things like that, you old coot."

Blayne just blinked, apparently in shock. "What kind of reverse planet do you come from?" he asked Guan, a look of complete disbelief on his face.

"It was a short lived practice," Guan assured the people in the room. "Turns out not only did the priest have no medical training, but he also had no idea what sterilization meant," he added, taking the pillow from Cerri with little effort. "Thank you Cerri," he said, standing up to place it on the stool before sitting down again. "That was getting slightly uncomfortable."

Uakai made a short hiss sound. her ears flat for half asecond. then she blushed once more and ducked her head hoping nobody noticed that when he'd said steralization she'd made it.

"Not fair." Cerri muttered, then darted in to kiss him, hoping that would fluster him, since the pillow hadn't worked. Watching covertly for a reaction, she went back to Ukaia, smiling. "Promise... it'll just be rings and vows for you, alright Princess? Don't let the mean teacher scare you." Then, registering her reaction to Guan's words, she hugged the woman carefully.

Blayne shook his head and got to his feet. "That is still the strangest practice I have ever heard of. Then again, in my clan, it was much simpler. A couple gain approval from the elders, a short binding ceremony was performed, and the two mated to seal the bond," he said matter-of-factly, though a blush could be seen hiding under his fur.

"Alredy mated with him" she mumbled soflty smiling a little bit. Her tail flicking more. She went to the bar and nibbled her bottom lip wanting something to drink.

Guan quirked an eyebrow at Cerri's feint kiss maneuver. "That's about what happens here, only many cultures include exchanging of rings or other tokens of affection," he said to Blayne. "I only knew about that horrid ritual because I was asked to undo what he did. Unfortunately I would have to have been there before it occured to actually do so."

Cerri promptly began to pout, annoyed that neither idea had worked. Still, her eye followed Ukaia's movements, watching the neko with some concern, only some of her attention focused on the conversation at hand.

Ukaia poured herself a cup of cream and sipped it purring soflty. She flashed a smile.. then reliazed cerri was watchign her worriedly. She smiled a bit sheapishly

"Then by the laws of my clan, the two of you are already married," he said. "I would still enjoy seeing a marriage ceremony of this plane, however. I was unable to see Kaen's ceremony."
