Akkis eyes teared up as she saw the sketch crumpled up. She jumped up and picked it out of the trash, gently flattening it the best she could, pressing it and putting it in her bag between the pages of a book.
"You want to dance?" she asked Laci, hoping to get her mind off her unhappiness.

Giggling, Akki led her out to the dancefloor.
"I got a letter from Lawrence...he's away on holiday right now. Except him mom got sick there so it isnt much of a holiday. He says he's gonna be home Monday though..."

Akki blushed, a pleased smile on her face.
"Mmmhmm. He invited me over to his place when he gets home. He said he'd get his sister to teach him how to cook so he could make me supper."

The song ended and Lacuna had another craving for another martini so she walked back over to the bar after thanking the lovely Akki and ordered another. Lacuna pulled up a stool and sighed, her face buried in her hands until her order came up.

Akki followed Laci back to the bar, ordering an orange juice as she pulled up a seat.

Jordyn walked into the bar with his pack slung over his shoulder. Walking up to the bar he sat at a stool and looked around the room.

Jak pushed the door open and scanned the room. He moved to the bar and gave Akki a hug, his eyes on Laci.

"Hello there, Jakkin." Getting up and walking behind the bar Jordyn started to make himself something to drink. "Anyone want anything while I'm here?"
