Great now I can't explain myself. Mag thought to himself. Well I better play along with the bad guys untill it is convenient to escape. "Maybe I am with them... maybe I'm not." Mag mumbled at the end hoping Kasiya would get the message. "Now I, Link, have some orders I need to carry out so go!" Mag shouted as he sent out Tsunami to battle.
"If you'd just surrender we wouldn't have to do anything and waste everyone's time. It will be impossible to escape now." Mag stated trying to sound intimidating.

Surprised to say the least, Mike let out a reassuring smile. "Flannery, I would want nothing more than your company." He said happily. "It would be great to have you with us." It was odd how well things were falling in place for him. The ease of the Rocket attack, Felsic, Beacon, and now Flannery. Mike glanced over at the diner door, then back at his friend. "Ladies first." He said with a sheepish grin.

"Sure." Ryka said with a giggle. "And maybe some time today, we could go shopping. You could get a belt to hold your pokeballs!" She told Jaeshan, smiling. The two walked outside into the morning breeze. Ryka sniffed in a bit, the sea air entering her nose. "Ah, it's so great here." She stated, catching a falling cherry blossom and fixing it in her hair. "How does it look?" She said, posing with a genuine grin.

Mai smiled darkly. "He's right, you know. Surrender now, and make this easier on all of us. She eyed the Vaporeon in front of them, and grinned. "You've only got that Sandslash. You'll be pummelled into submission." Mai held up the tube of Kasiya's Pokemon. "You want them back? Surrender."
Kasiya let out a gasp. "Those are mine! Give them back!" The girl put Sandslash's Pokeball into her pocket. She took a few steps back, her eyes darting around frantically for an escape route. She noted the window through which Giovanni had kept staring. It was the lab!
Mai grit her teeth. "Sorry, kiddo." She tossed out one of her Pokeballs, revealling her infamous Espeon. "Take this brat out with your Psybeam." The Espeon stepped forward, a glint appearing in her eye as she let the psychic attack fly, a rainbow coloured beam that struck the girl in the chest. She was dazed by the powerful attack, and staggered back a few feet, before turning and falling through the window Giovanni was so fond of gazing through, crashing into the laboratory below.
"She's in Giovanni's hands now," Mai said quietly, putting a hand on Mag's shoulder as she turned to leave the office. "Good work, Link," she told the boy. "Clean up will be here soon. Best not dawdle." She lead him out of the office as a swarm of rockets descended upon the scene.

Flannery looked slightly relieved. "Great, thanks!" she beamed, giggling as she entered the diner first. Somehow I knew he'd say yes, she thought as she meandered though the diner, before choosing a booth seat and plopping down. "I'm famished," she complained. "Get me food, Mikey!" she said in a joking tone.

"Right ma'am." Mag said as he look back to the window. As soon as Mai was down the hall and out of sight he went back and jumped down into the lab. Kasiya lay on the floor and appeared to be unconcious. All the people in that normally were in the lab had gone earlier apparently since the place was empty of everything but equipment.
"Are you okay?" Mag asked as he poked her head to get a response. Tsunami stood nearby and watched.

"Marvelous," Jaeshan whispered, not realizing he was staring. He shook himself out of it, and smiled. "So where to first?" he asked, quickly changing the subject and looking around. Everything seemed so deserted compared to when the festival was in full swing. He pushed his ever-unruly hair out of his eyes. That badge is waiting for me... he thought excitedly.

Oh, she called me Mikey. Swooned the lovesick boy, gliding over to the booth. "What do you want? I'm in the mood for a nice volcano burger." Just to make sure nothing else popped out, he read over the menu before placing it down. He quickly looked over at Flannery, eyeing his lovely company descretely. Mike sat back, waiting for her to make her descision.

"Something's not right," Mai said to herself, looking down at her Espeon. Serentity looked up at her eagerly, awaiting their next move. "There's something suspicious about that Link character," she mused, turning on a heel and heading back downstairs. She signalled to a group of grunts, and each came forward, following her as she headed towards the laboratory. "I thought I told you not to linger here," Mai said sharply, swinging the doors open loudly. "Make sure she's still alive," she hissed at a female grunt, who nodded curtly and ran to the fallen girl's side. After a moment or two, the grunt gave a thumbs-up. "Your concern is touching, but you're disobeying orders, Link. That is, if it even is your real name."

"Yes I suppose I am disobeying them. I didn't want the prisoner to have been injured to seriously since we might get information out of her or something." Mag said. "Now why wouldn't that be my real name? I have no reason to have an alias." He added recalling Tsunami.

"hmm...I don't know," Flannery laughed. "I'm always so indecisive at times like these." She scanned the menu, her face serious for a moment or two. "I'll have what you have," she said, tossing the menu aside and toying with the pepper shaker.

"We have people for that," Mai motioned as a team of grunts came in and loaded the unconscious girl onto a stretcher before carrying her away. She looked back to Link. "You're lucky you're new here," she said flatly. "Otherwise you could be in a lot of trouble. But not nearly as much trouble as she's in." Mai glanced down at the tube of Pokeballs still in her hand, and placed it in her pocket. "You'd best be off now. If you're caught in here again, I won't be there to get you out of trouble." She looked at the boy for a second. So young. Why is he in a place like this? She shook her head, and started to walk a way, Serenity following her.

Kilik laughed then looked at his Flareon. "You honestly think I'm afraid of you?" he asked, regarding the statment of getting his arse kicked out, "I eat punks like you for breakfast." All right, he thought, that may have layed it on a bit too thick. "Yeah. Three on three? Child's play." The boy crossed his arms over his chest and gave a small chuckle. He took his finger and pointed over to the battlefield. "So? Are we going to stand here all day or are we going to battle?"
Rena ran up behind Mai, holding up the Pokeball that held her Electabuzz. "What's happening, officer?" She looked around, noticing that the only commotion was coming from the lab, "What'd I miss?" The girl tilted her head.

At the height of the 'tension' an overly cheerful young woman skipped over, her hair in cute pigtails. My my... Mike thought with a smile, trying not to laugh.
"Hi there you two lovebirds!" She started, her high pitched voice caused the boy to cringe slightly. "What'll ya have?" The waitress asked with a squeak.
Gathering his wits...and preparing his ear drums, Mike ordered two Lavaridge Volcano burgers. As thought, the girl shrilled in delight, bouncing off to the kitchen.
"Wow." Was all the boy could say.

Well this ruined everything. I guess they do have pretty good security here. Hm. Well I best be off. Mag walked out of the room and went to the main commons. Mag went over to one of the couches and slouched down. He let out a sigh and then tried to come up with a plan of attack to rescue the girl.
