Daren felt his breath release when the third inning finally ended. their departing words confused him. his trigger triggered Tim? he didn't know what they were talking about, but at that moment, he didn't care. he pulled out his phone, deciding to text Tim now in case he saw Daren and his moms gone and got worried, even though his moms were in another part of the stands. i'm sorry.it was all he could think to write. what else could be said, but how sorry he was? he got up, taking the chocolates to not be rude, and hurried to the parking lot. he was almost there, almost free. just a little bit further and he'd be on his way home.

Tim did end up leaving early, there was a break after the fourth inning and Tim looked for Daren, but after his mom's explained what happened and the red-head realized his parents had frightened off his friend, instead of breaking down he snapped and got angry. It was, surprising, to say the least. He'd never yelled at them with such ferocity, no one had seen him yell and Andy had to quickly explain that Tim wasn't feeling well and forced him to go home. and now the red-head was sitting in his car crying, the Andy's apartment complex in front of him, trembling body clinging to a phone which was placed on his ear. "Jason pick up. Jason pick up." he pleaded.

Daren made it home and went straight to his closet. he shut himself inside and curled up, his knees against his forehead as he tried to control his breathing. he felt safe in here, a small, enclosed space where he was hidden away from the world. he didn't know how long he'd been in there, but it didn't matter. he'd stay until he had to come out, if he ever came out at all. maybe he should just end it. leaving obviously hadn't worked, but if he were dead...well, it wold be impossible for him to hurt Tim like this again, wouldn't it? Jason had managed to get out of work early. he probably had time to go and see the end of Tim's game! he was excited, this being the first game he could attend. his phone went off, Tim's ringtone and he quickly answered. "Hey, honey. you in a break? guess what, i'm on my way there now! i was thinking maybe we could go to dinner afterwards and spend the night at my place, what do you think?" in his excitement he didn't really give much of a pause, just kept speaking. "sorry, what did you need?"

His game. Jason was going to see him play but TIm wasn't there anymore! This brought a fresh batch of tears, trying to speak between his crying. "I-I-Jason! I lost my medication last night! Jason I need new--I'm not at the game! I'm at Andy's! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry. You're so excited but I'm not there. Andy made me go home. I forgot my medication I lost them please Jason please come find me." He felt awful. Jason had worked so hard and now he was going to miss his game and Tim's team saw him snap and he didn't want to go to work now. "I don't think you want me to spend the night, tonight." came the small voice through tears. "I'm so sorry."

Jason stilled, his entire world stopping for one split second before he was running to his car. "Tim, stay right where you are. i'll be there soon, ok? i'm getting in my car now, i'm coming fro you, baby." he kept his voice warm, comforting, even though he himself was nearly frantic. "it's ok. i'll come to the next game, ok, love? and don't you think for a second i'll let you be anywhere but in my arms for the rest of the night." he smiled a little as he pulled into traffic, "i'm coming for you, love, you don't have to be alone." it took him twenty minutes to get to Andy's, but he stayed on the phone the entire time, talking to Tim and comforting him. it was easy to find Tim's car in the parking lot. he pulled into a spot as close to him as he could find and got out. "i'm here, i'm here Tim. it's ok, i'm here."

"I'm not moving. I'm really sorry Jason I'm really really sorry." he listened nodding. "O-Our next game is in two weeks, if we win." he rested his head on the steering wheel, jumping and yelling as the horn blared in protest, giving a small sob and curling up in his seat. But the voice was soothing, his murmured apologies growing less and less, responding to the words and giving small words off affection in return. He saw the car pull up a few spaces down on his right, giving a relieved smile and wiping his no doubt red face, cleaning the tears and the runny nose before getting out, hanging up and quickly clinging to the man. "I'm sorry. I'm really really sorry, Jason. I'm so sorry."

Jason dropped his phone in his pocket and wrapped Tim in his arms, holding onto him tightly. "shh, shh," he soothed, kissing the top of Tim's head, "nothing to apologize for. it happens, love." he ran his hands through Tim's hair in a way he knew helped, "it's ok, i'm here." he smiled a little, glad he was able to be here for Tim when he needed it is badly, "i'm right here." he moved them so he was leaning back on Tim's car and Tim on top of him, a position he could hold for as long as Tim needed him to. "i'm right here, love."

Tim wasn't aware he had followed Jason, still clinging and now leaning on him. He unbuttoned the man's jacket and wrapped his arms there in the warmth, aware he was still in his thin baseball uniform, and the autumn air was cold. When he finally calmed, however, did he speak. "I yelled at my parents... I don't know what came over me. I got, just, so angry at them." he buried his face into the man's shirt, glasses already askew on his head and threatening to fall off. "I need, I need medication for that. To keep me calm. I can't... I can't go to work tomorrow they all saw me yell." He looked up at the man, giving a small smile and leaned up to kiss him, burying his face in his neck. "Thank you for coming."

Jason let Tim snuggle in, he'd been worried about the cold, but he didn't want to disturb Tim and make him move away when this is what he needed most at the moment. "there isn't a medication to keep you from yelling, love," he said softly. "you had a bad day, i think everyone understood that much. even the kindest and quietest of people yell when pushed too far." he ran his hand up and down Tim's back, pausing for the kiss, but continuing once Tim snuggled back in. "you need to go to work, just to prove to everyone that you are ok. they will be worried a few may come up and ask, but that's ok. they care for you and want to make sure everything is alright. all you have to tell them is you had a bad day and that's it. it's over." he smiled, "of course i came, silly. you are my boyfriend, isn't that what good boyfriends do?" he kissed the top of Tim's head, "come on. let's get in my car, we'll order take out and go home to snuggle on the couch and watch movies all day. sound like a deal?"

Tim wanted medication to keep him calm... Something to prevent yelling, and getting angry. But he still didn't want to go to work, too many people, then Andy, and his parents... What would his boss even think? "You're a very good boyfriend, Jason." Tim scrunched up his face happily at the kiss, looking up and nodding. "But you get to pick the movies, okay? And you can pick out which restaurant we eat at. Should I change, though?" because he just realized he'd gone straight to his car, all of his things were still at the game... just like his medication was at Daren's...

Jason rubbed Tim's back, "changing might be a good idea. i can't image you would feel very comfortable in your baseball gear all day. let's head up to your apartment and you can shower and dress. i bet you will feel a lot better if you do." he slipped an arm around Tim's waist and walked with him to Andy's apartment. "would you like me to join you in the shower? nothing sexual, just if you want someone to wash your back for you."

Tim nodded, "I'd like that. I like you being close. I feel comforted." He held Jason's hand with a small happy smile, leading the man up up the apartment and taking the key from under the rug, unlocking it before letting him go first. "Was work okay? You were done early I hope you didn't rush." he murmured, going to his room to undress, "I-I'm sorry, that you couldn't see the game again." he murmured, placing the laundry in the hamper. "You don't have to shower with me if you don't want to." he could have just been offering to be nice.

"work was fine, the only reason i got out early was because i wasn't needed. they over scheduled so the doctor that had been working the longest got to go home, and that just so happened to be me." he started to undress when Tim did, folding his clothes and setting them on the bed. when Tim said he didn't have to shower with him, Jason turned around and slipped his arms around Tim, hugging him from behind while pressing a kiss to his shoulder. "i know i don't have to, Tim. i want to." he kissed Tim's neck before taking his hand and leading him into the shower. "Come on, let's get you clean."

"You always work such long hours." he murmured, turning his head to look at the man behind him before reaching up to stroke his hair before following him to the bathroom. "Ah, you may not know how to work the shower." he chuckled, moving in front of Jason to look at the automated thing. "Uh, Andy likes to be up to date. You've never been here before have you? I'm always at your place." he pressed the green button, water spraying before typing in a temperature Tim was comfortable with, "How does that feel? Hotter or colder?"

"yes, this is the first time i've been here. Andy doesn't seem to learn his lesson, does he? you would think after the fridge, he'd be a little more careful. " he studied the shower as Tim turned it on, "no, this is good. thank you." he got a cloth covered in soap and started to wash Tim's back, this was good. he was focused on something other than what happened earlier.
