A movie? That was ninety ******** minutes of sitting on the couch, eating popcorn and getting fat. Not that Corky had to worry about her figure. But movies were so....boring, so average. She rolled her eyes and walked out of the living room, not surprised at Butch's choice but still very bummed out. How could you pick a movie over club hopping? If she didn't have at least a ride somewhere she'd be screwed. Sure, the guys at the party she and Noko went offered, but they were sleezy trailor trash. She'd probably get jumped. Ew.
Courtney had stopped in the kitchen, which was empty. She could see the little lau going on next door; it looked more like a block BBQ than a party. Cheesy theme parties such as that were way out of style. Now it was Black and White parties, something more sophisticated. Or at least, with more booze, teens, and louder music. It seemed like the best she could hope for here would just be blasting her music and trying on different outfits. ******** ******** ********, she hated being a mutant. She would be home, living up her title if she wasn't a freak. She hated it. No one here was like her, or her friends, and she had to live with them just because she was a ******** of human evolution. Courtney really didn't know how her life would get much worse.
"I NEED A ******** CIGARETTE!" Corky screamed to no one in particular.
||Horray, more writers block. This is like, so my day. -RIP-||

Sasha was downstairs sipping on a pinapple slush she made. "It's so quiet here," she said. Soon it shall be chaos, said a voice in her head. An image shot through her mind. She saw Wanda. An elder man was giving orders to some men around him. "Prepare everything now!". Sasha fell out her chair. She sat up sweating a little. What the hell was that about?she asked herself.
Sonya walked downstairs with her shealthed katana. She noticed Jaime as she was walking past. "Hey I'm about to go practice a little with my katana. Would you like to join me, I would like a partner," she said, cheerfully.

Jamie looked over at Sonya for a moment. "Sure, I'd love to." He said to her with a smile. "Give me just a minute." He said, and went upstairs to grab his katana. As he walked outside, he looked up at the sky. "Actually Sonya, make that five minutes." He said to her, before closing his eyes. To anyone looking at the sky, it would look like the clouds had parted, leaving a beautifully lit starry night. Jamie just hoped no astronomers were near by, because it would be obvious that the stars were not in the right places, and there were no regular constellations.
"Alright, I'm ready Sonya."

"Oh come on guys, you can't keep a katana fight away from me," Penny trapsed acrossed the sand in her bare feet towards Jamie and Sonya. She held the katana Jacen purchased for her back on the board walk.
"You mind a third wheel?" She asked and looked up at the light Jamie created, "Nice work, Jamie. Regina's going to love that for tonight's festivities."

"It's fine with me if you come. Just so long as you don't kill me." Jamie said with a smile. Jamie observed the stars above, and then looked over at Penny. "You think anyone will notice that none of the stars are where they're supposed to be?" Jamie asked, as he walked along the beach. He walked out into the water, until the waves were splashing around his knees, and looked off at the horizon. "I just hope not too many people are out looking for certain stars tonight."

"Sonya, I hope you don't mind the intrusion," Penny nodded towards her, "If you come back to the Institute with us, you will understand more about me and my ever loving need to sparr."
She walked down into the water with Jamie and pointed at one section, "That one almost looks like Orion if you squint hard enough. I think we'll be okay... they didn't notice the massive fire fight on the beach yesterday. If they do notice these today, they'll just claim aliens and leave it at that."
"I'll make you a deal, if either of you beat me, I'll buy you a car," She felt like throwing some of her gains around from the weekend for a moment. Mostly because she wanted to spite Alicia and it felt oh so nice.

Jamie grinned over at Penny and unsheathed his Katana. "You know, a car would be useful, it's only a few months 'til I get my license." He said, thinking of the practice he'd been doing with. . . whoever he could convince to come. He'd gained a 'at least you're better than Kitty' from most of the people.
Jamie stood still for a moment, then got into a low stance, and held the Katana ready. Once he saw that Penny was ready, he started to move closer, and feigned an attack. Seeing that Penny barely flinched, he took a deep breath. It was obvious she knew what she was doing. Jamie stepped back, and stared at her for a moment. She was playing it defensively, so he'd just have to try to force a mistake out of her.
Jamie lunged in for a strike, but when she parried the blow, he stumbled a bit and she smacked him on the back with the flat of the blade. He stumbled a bit more, and spun around to face her. He then made a heavy, but short step with his left foot and started a thrust, but at the last moment pulled back and attacked the other way. He saw Penny smile a bit as he tried the attack, and she took a quick backstep and dodged the swing, but while she was moving back to her stance, there was a flash and her sword hand came around. Jamie brought the Katana up to block the blow, and got it there at the last second.
He hopped backwards and switched the sword to his left hand, shaking his right arm out. He then switched the sword back, and got into a defensive stance.

"Kitty! Phase yourselves out now!," Jacen yelled as he ran to the front entrace and threw the door wide open. As he stepped outside, the three girls floated inside. Unfortunately for him, he was a bit unprepared when there was a small hail of bullets, but he was lucky enough to flash up a tiny concave shield. Barely enough to deflect the bullets, but it appeared they weren't shooting to kill. Jacen was though. Without a thought, he fired two blasts at the trucks driving quickly down the road. The first truck swerved and missed the blast, turning left down the next street. The second shot also missed the target, although it did hit the crater as it swerved, flipping it in the process.
"Here," he heard someone say as he was handed his other weapon. Jacen said not a word as he briskly walked down the road, looking around to see if there were any witness to this incident. When he got to the flipped SUV, Jacen knelt down and saw one lone driver there, speaking into an earpiece.
"He's taken the bait...just like you said...."
"Bait?!," Jacen asked excitedly, "Who's behind all of this?!?!" Then there was a flash of a blackish orange fire, and Jacen felt a searing pain in his arm.
"I honestly can't believe you fell for this trap, dog."
".....And I can't believe they just sent you, Senyaka," Jacen said as he fought through the pain and lunged directly for his former comrade's chest. It was then that he felt that he felt a crushing pain in his skull as his body fell limp to the ground. There was the crackle of electricity in the air. Jacen could only guess who his next surprise opponent was.
"Oh, they don't have enough faith in Senyaka to send him alone," Unuscione scolded as she amped up her assault, sending Jacen into mild convulsions. Out of reflex while he was writhing in pain, he fired off a small blast of energy at Unuscione's face. Immediately, the black energy dissipated, not even coming close to hitting his target. "But that's okay, Scion. You should know that it's not often us Acolyte's get to travel alone, right Skids?"
"Yea, that about sums it up," Skids remarked as she watched with a small grin while Jacen was lying on the concrete. "Are we ready to go yet or not? I wanna deal with this traitor while the day is young."
"Such impatience," Amelia said as she walked from around the flipped vehicle, allthewhile a swirling mist was encompassing the five mutants. "And of course, Scion, you do remember that this is quite discomforting." With that, they were gone.

Morgan took a quick peek outside, to see Jamie and Penny sparring. Jamie had gotten much better than he used to be. Heh, I'll have to remember to spar with Penny in the Danger Room. Robots are great, but they get too predictable, he thought to himself. He then busied himself with the making of popcorn, and setting up of the movie. Pietro had barely opened his mouth to order him to do it, before Morgan already started getting everything ready. Constantine, huh? Not a terrible movie, but nothing fantastic. Watch the movie, enjoy it, and leave it at that, Morgan thought.
"Uh, Wanda, do you want popcorn made with the stove, or the microwave?" Morgan called, poking his head out into the TV room.

Edited for Morgan:
Wanda started to feel bad for Morgan to do all the chores she asked Pietro. She wanted to make HIS life a hell. Not Morgan's.
"Which ever is less troublesome for you, Morgan. I don't care," she answered him with a soft tone that surprised even herself.
She then glared at the girl yelling for a cigarette. Damn, she was already getting on her nerves and they only spared 5 minutes together at the max since they met. "Oh I remember you... Calling me "hormonal queen" or something close to that. From what I see, you are mostly the one with the bad attitude here," she told the girl.
---------------
Noticing Porter wasn't under her charming spell anymore, Freya laughed gently. "Now now. Don't get angry. I just said that so you would just stop staring at me. I was almost afraid that you would do something that you might regret," she told him with a wink. "You think I don't know that Regina might be nearby and might see us? I'm a good girl, Jonathan. I don't steal boyfriends. I'm a bit shocked that you would think that of me. But then again, I was leading you to such a conclusion."
She stood in front of him, her arms crossed on her chest and her face expressing extreme seriousness. "I think we're both done with flirting. You're a good guy and I don't want to mess up your relationship. Now it's time to get down to business. What do you know about Logan aka Wolverine?"
She tried to not laugh at his surprised expression when she shot those words right in his face.

Wow what game is she playing? That was a completely unexpected question but not one he was willing to answer out right.
"Freya, I hope you don't take offense, but what I know about Wolverine remains with me. My position with the Institute doesn't permit me to just give away information like that."

"Hmm... I should have known," answered Freya with a thinking pose. "But you are not a teacher of Xavier's institute right now. You're my slave. Plus, we're not around the mansion so there's nothing that can stop you from answering this simple question."
She knew her good looks wouldn't help her and it was a good thing she didn't plan of seducing Porter to have what she wanted. She played another card instead. "But I understand that you can't tell me everything about him. I just want to know if he is the one I think he is. You see...I used to be in Alpha Flight."
Now, she was wandering if she would kill the poor man with more unexpected informations or questions.

"Either way works for me. You know what, I'll give you guys a treat, and make some real stuff on the stove," Morgan replied, pulling a large-ish pot out, putting some oil in the bottom, and turning the heat on under the pot. He rummaged through the pantry until he found what he was looking for: popcorn kernels that were not in a microwave pouch. He poured in enough to feed everyone, rolled them around in the pot to make sure that the kernels were completely covered in oil.
Within a few minutes, the familiar popping sounds, and wonderful smell of fresh popcorn wafted out of the kitchen. Once the popcorn was done, he placed it in a large bowl, and quickly melted some butter in the microwave. Adding that, and a bit of salt, and the popcorn was done.
"And the popcorn is ready!" Morgan exclaimed, bringing the bowl out into the TV room.

Freya was not the one he wanted to be fighting with. And he was getting quite annoyed at her game. He had no information or proof to back up her claims and he didn't know her well enough to believe what she said. In fact, she trusted her, Penny and Jacen about the same... as far as he could throw them.
"Firstly, I am a teacher of Xavier's Institute as long as Xavier is still giving me paychecks. Secondly, this slave game of yours will not include my knowledge about Xavier Institute information. Third, my ethics stop me from answering your questions. Freya, if you want information, you've come to the wrong person."

Freya shook her head. "You are so aggressive. I can see that my little comment earlier really did irritate you. I'm sorry about it. If you want to treat me like an enemy, that is your choice." She sounded more sadden than angry.
"It is true that I'm still a teenager and since I'm not affiliated with Professor Xavier or Magneto, I think this makes you uncomfortable with me. And I understand. But I'm not going to remove my mask for you, Jonathan. What I hide is something you cannot access. Not even Professor Xavier could access it."
She was still smiling to him. A smile filled with mystery. "I'm not going to pry. I never hoped you would answer actually. Not even the spirits want to tell me who Wolverine is. Can you imagine that? I don't know everything."
Something inside of her cracked when she said those words. But her smile remained. Unchanged. "I'm sorry we won't be friends because of my secrets," she finally told him after a small silence.
