RUXIK
p u p p e t to the d a r k n e s s If the violette had a heart, he'd be screaming with rage right now. He glared at the two girls as they discussed Riku and who'd be facing off with his Other. What 'angered' him more was Aros wasn't defending him. The man wasn't over-ruling them and letting Ruxik be the one to fight his Other. It was his Light! His fight! Not theirs! His yellow eyes fell on Tesqux, glaring and barring his teeth at her. "When you fail, and my Other kills you. I won't be sorry," he hissed. Ruxik turned and followed Aros into the Corridor in a huff.
Appearing in front of the school, the Nobody marched straight up to the ravenette. He stared down at him him. "Aros," his voice, as usual, was flat and blank of emotion. "Why didn't you stop that? Why are you letting them go after Riku? Just like Sora, he's my Other; my fight. Why aren't I allowed to fight with him?" he asked continuously. A passerby who mistakened the duo for real people may have guessed that the violette was pissed off and angry at his Master. But he wasn't, he was heartless.

Hikari shook her head when Alexander asked what she wanted to do. "No, I want to keep dancing, if that's alright," she said in a small voice, a small blush forming on her cheeks. Axel stopped when the music ceased, looking down at Lakayna as the music changed to a jazzy christmas beat. He smirked and held her hand. "Do you wanna go visit? Or do you wanna keep dancing?" he asked, absently tapping to the beat of the new song with his free hand on the side of his leg.Roxas frowned when Sora explained that they had been looking for him all day and that he had been trying to talk to him through their link and how he was worried because of the stuff that's been happening. "What stuff? There hasn't been anything that I've seen besides the whole thing with Namine and Riku," he said and shook his head. "Look, I don't need a babysitter breathing down my neck all the time. Just back off, okay?!" he exclaimed, pushing past his Other and went back to join Xion and Kairi.

คг๏ร tђє ๏tђєг кєyTesqux was probably very lucky that Aros hadn’t heard her comment because he was too busy listening to Ruxik snarl at her. When they exited the Corridor of Darkness, Ruxik was just as “upset” about the whole exchange as he’d thought he’d be. Of course, he was a Nobody, so he wasn’t really upset, but if he had a heart, he would’ve been, no doubt. The disguised ravenette just raised a brow at Ruxik as he asked question after question, wanting to know why Aros hadn’t backed him up or let him go after Riku. ”They’re fools, Ruxik, that’s why,” he told him simply, turning away. ”You know that your Other can handle her. It will just teach them a lesson. Besides, the goal here isn’t to kill the light-bearers. Just to separate them. Of course I think it’s a stupid plan, but I’m going to let them have their fun. When all’s done and over with and the so-called ‘heroes’ are still alive, we’ll be able to do whatever we please because everyone will know I was right.” He turned back to Ruxik for a moment, a confident smirk on his face. Although he’d been hypnotized into this, he didn’t realize it, and this made him think that his plan was all the better.
However, one thing had thrown Aros off. Ruxik had addressed him in a very rude manner. Now, he was kind of used to be talked down to by all the other people in their little group, and he’d been barely tolerating it. Now that his little puppet was doing the same bothered him a bit. ”And don’t think you can get away with talking like that, either,” he reminded the Nobody, his voice having a bit of an aggressive edge to it. ”Just because I’m allowing the others to think they have control over me doesn’t mean you can act the same. I brought you to life, and you know that I can just as easily take it back.” He wished there was some physical way he could prove that, like summon some of his own darkness from Ruxik and pull it out to show him, but that would probably end up doing more harm than good. So he just gave that darkness a little mental tug inside of Ruxik, which he would most likely pick up on and get the message. He then waited for a response, trying to remember who in Sora’s group would be a good match up for Ruxik so that he wouldn’t kill them, but give them a hard enough time anyway. ๔คгкภєรร tђгเשєร ฬเtђเภ tђє l เ g ђ t

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora stared incredulously at Roxas as the boy seemed completely oblivious to all the dark things that had been happening on the islands. There had to be something that he’d noticed, right? After all, they shared the same heart, more or less, so if he was able to sense it, surely his Nobody would too. It didn’t seem like it, though, as Roxas mentioned that the only thing that had been going on was between Riku and Naminé. This made Sora wince slightly, knowing that was a very sore subject, one that he really didn’t want to talk about. It proved that the blonde didn’t want to talk about it either, as he snapped at him about not needing a babysitter breathing down his neck and pushed past him back towards the others. ”Roxas!” Sora shouted, turning to watch him go off. There was frustration very evident in his tone. An exasperated grunt emitted from his throat, but he decided to let it go. Well, fine, if Roxas didn’t want to tell him what was going on, that wasn’t a problem. He would just leave him alone like he wanted. At least until tomorrow. Then he could not have to worry about ruining the dance and be a little more forceful.
After a moment of figuring all of this out, Sora decided he would just go back to Kairi. She would calm him down for sure. So he stomped back over to their little group, avoiding eye contact with Roxas at all costs. He knew that he would shout at him if he did so much as looked at him, so this was the best thing to do. When he reached Kairi’s side, he took her hand and started pulling her away without an explanation. The brunette led his date into the gym and over to the wall away from the dance floor, where several couples were just talking and hanging out. Once there, he let go of her hand and sighed. He forced himself to look up at the crimsonette, feeling a little guilty. ”Sorry,” he apologized immediately. ”Roxas is… being difficult. So… I just had to get away from him before… Well, before we started a shout-fest, basically.” He managed a weak laugh and a broken smile. ”So… Uh… We’re here!” He put on a cheesy, toothy smile, hoping she would buy it and start to talk about something else. That would get his mind off Roxas for the night, hopefully, and then he could have a good time and so could everyone else. And then he wouldn’t have to worry about it until tomorrow, which right now felt like it was a thousand years away. Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

Enid exited into a hallway and looked around, "Aro's When shall i announce the prom king and queen?" she asked hoping he would hear. she then stopped to look around to see if he would show up.
Mildred was dancing with the prince she drew. she stopped and looked around. she walked towards the table and got herself a drink while her 'Prince' loyally followed her. she looked at the locket of her, blink and the cloaked person behind them and smiled.

Xia Xia smiled at Blaise. "Of course!" She said, giving him a bit of room next to her on the dance floor. She followed his gaze to the lavendernette, Lakayana, and her date. They looked so happy together. She turned to Blaise- he looked concerned, and apologized. Surprised she asked, "Sorry for what? I wasn't aware you were doing anything wrong. You're allowed to like who you want, and I'm happy for you and Sky!" He forced a smile, unconvinced. She smiled too, trying to reassure him. I'd rather be his friend then nothing at all. This One Night, That's All I Ask

Blaise. I get to go to a dance, so nothing can go wrong. The only way to be sure about tonight, is to experience it firsthand.Blaise looked to Xia. Was it that obvious? It probably was. "I'm sorry for making you feel like a third wheel. I never meant to do that Xia. Honest." He smiled again when she smiled. This time it was sincere. "Oh, how could I forget... Merry-almost-Christmas Xia!" He said. He pulled out a gift, containing a badge of sorts. "I got it for you. I thought you'd like it." he said smiling again. Besides, it's a tme to relax, and a chance to get together with my friends...

Xia "You shouldn't. It's not you guy's fault, anyway. I should've found a date, or not whined." She looked at the gift he presented her- a badge. She smiled widely. "Thank you! This is great!" She held it carefully. "I got you something too- merry Almost-Christmas, Blaise!" She said, presenting him with an empty journal."I wasn't sure what you'd like, so I bought this."This One Night, That's All I Ask

He smiled again. "Hey Xia, care for a dance?" he asked holding out his hand. He watched as Xia held his gift to her carefully. He smiled again, knowing that she liked his gift. He looked around really quick and saw the people crowd around. He smiled again, and this time, anyone could tell he was enjoying himself.Besides, it's a tme to relax, and a chance to get together with my friends...

Xia After a moment's hesitation, Xia put her hand in Blaise's. "I would love to dance," She said brightly. 'I hope Sky won't mind. Then again, it's only once dance. I think I'm allowed one dance.' She laughed, beginning to truly enjoy herself. She forgot to worry about whether Skylar would be angry, or if she was making Blaise uncomfortable. For this moment, she wasn't a Nobody. She was just Xia. This One Night, That's All I Ask

Midnight_Moon_Angel1220 Lakayna didn't answerAxel right away even as the jazzy song started to play. She was desparately willing her heart to slow its beating. At this rate she'd likely spontaneously combust; literally; and that wouldn't be good for anyone; especially Lakayna since her clothes would cease to exist and she'd end up naked in front of the whole school. After a moment and finally getting her erratic pulse under ontrol, Lakayna was finally able to look up at Axel's face. "One more dance won't kill us," she replied with a small smirk. This sort of beat caused the kind of moves that would get people to stare at you as youdanced and cheer for you. lakayna wished all her friends were out dancing to this too. It would be fun for them all to show the school what they could do. Not in terms of magic or anything, but moving to the beat.

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi continued to beam at Xion as she noticed Roxas join them. The Princess hadn't gotten a chance to say hi to the blonde yet, so she smiled and said, "Hello Roxas. You're looking very nice tonight. I'm glad you're okay. Oh! Guess what! Olette goes to school here now! She was looking for you Roxas, so keep your eyes out for her." Kairi's cheerfulness ebbed away though as she sensed that things had not gone well between the Somebody and Nobody. Roxas looked slightly annoyed, and Sora came stomping over, avoiding eye contact with his Other. The Keyblade Master didn't say a word as he grabbed the crimsonette's hand and began pulling her away. "Umm bye Xion. Bye Roxas. See you later!" the red head waved as she was led away.
Sora led his girlfriend into the gym and over to a wall away from the dance floor where other couples were talking and hanging out. Kairi glanced at the dance floor, spotting Lakayna and Axel, Hikari and Alexander, and Blaise and Xia, before looking up at Sora worriedly. She didn't like it when her boyfriend was upset. The brunette immediately apologized for suddenly pulling her away and told the crimsonette that Roxas was being difficult, and he wanted to get away from his Other before they started shouting. The weak laugh and broken smile Sora gave her tugged at Kairi's heart. Seeing the Keybearer like that made her sad, so she wanted to cheer him up quickly. "Aww it's okay Sora. You don't have to apologize," the Princess smiled softly, reaching forward to give his hand a gentle squeeze. She laughed when Sora put on a cheesy grin and announced that they were finally at the ball. "So we are," the crimsonette giggled before putting on a straight face, raising an eyebrow, and saying, "That better be a genuine Sora smile you're giving me! You're not just putting on a smile to make me less worried, you're smiling because you're truly happy now, riiiight?" Kairi then beamed up at Sora, her sapphire eyes gazing lovingly into his azure ones. "See this?" she said pointing to her shining smile, "This is a genuine Kairi smile. I'm smiling because there is nowhere else I'd rather be right now then right here with you Sora."
((Oh wow, sorry if that was like incredibly cheesy Thalassa ^^;; Kairi fails XD Hopefully her cuteness makes up for her cheesiness!))We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx My first real date, my first real dance... Sora really felt guilty when he saw the concerned expression on Kairi’s face as he started to explain things. He really hadn’t wanted things to end up like that. Why couldn’t Roxas just tell him why he hadn’t been using his link with him? Well, that question would have to be answered later, so he refused to think about it now. His girlfriend told him it was okay and that he didn’t have to apologize, but he had anyway since he felt like it was necessary. He just wanted to avoid making a bigger scene, that was all. He had then tried to find something to talk about and stated that they were here, whatever that was supposed to mean. Kairi agreed with him, giggling, then saw how silly his smile must’ve looked. She demanded to know if it was a genuine smile, then said that her own was because she was happy just being with him. Although the first cheesy smile had been a little forced, the laugh and grin that followed was sincere. ”Yeah, yeah. It’s genuine. But only because you’re here,” he admitted. It was true, as tacky as it sounded. If it weren’t for Kairi, he probably would have dwelt on the whole Roxas issue. But now he didn’t have to.
Sora took a moment to look around the gym to see if he could find any familiar faces. He saw Lakayna and Axel dancing, as well as Blaise and Xia. Well, that was good that Blaise was trying to keep Xia in on the action, though he wondered how Skyler would feel. That was none of his business though, so he continued to look around. He wasn’t really surprised when he saw Hikari and Alexander dancing together. For their sake, he just hoped that Riku somehow didn’t see that. There would be more drama than there needed to be if that happened. At that moment, he became aware of the music playing. It was a jazzy Christmas tune, and even though he’d just become consciously aware of its presence, his foot was already tapping to the beat. That was about all he could do though; dancing for him was out of the question. He would only make a fool of himself, and there was no way he was going to put Kairi through that embarrassment. ”So… wanna get some punch, or something?” the brunette suggested, hoping that Kairi wouldn’t realize he was trying to avoid the whole dancing thing. He did want to dance with Kairi at some point, but as much as he wanted to, he was really nervous about it. He supposed she wouldn’t really care, but he just couldn’t get over that same old image of himself dancing as a gorilla… Why did that ever have to enter his mind!? ((Will post as Aros when Ruxik replies.))Nothing could ruin this moment... right?

~Thinking of you, wherever you are. Kairi's smile grew brighter when Sora laughed and told her his smile was genuine, but only because she was there. "I'm glad," the Princess said blushing a little. With all that being said everything became more cheerful and festive. The crimsonette looked around and saw the food tables and twinkling lights Quest had mentioned. She also saw tons of balloons and banners. The music, which the red head had barely been aware of before, seemed to ring loud and clear now, and she began to quietly hum along with the Christmas tunes.
After looking around the gym Kairi turned her attention back to Sora as he asked her if she wanted to get some punch or something. The Princess nodded and replied, "Sure, punch sounds good." The crimsonette looked in the direction of the drink table and noticed a bunch of tables and chairs in one corner of the gym. She smiled and pointed to them saying, "Once we get our drinks we can go sit over there and relax and talk for a bit." Kairi then looked back at Sora as she pulled out her camera and added with a giggle, "And while we're sitting enjoying ourselves I can get pictures of all our friends and everything!"We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

¤ Qυєѕτ ¤ Hυиτєя ¤ All our memories are never forgotten..... They are only locked behind a door....Quest had been wandering around, unable to get rid of the uneasy feeling of being watched. Once, she thought she saw Tesqux, hidden in the shadows of the gym walls, but when she looked again, no one was there. And she kept hearing Kiera's voice in her head, threatening messages replayed over and over. She shook her head to clear it and waved to Kairi and Sora, who looked like they were enjoying themselves. She grinned in their direction with a thumbs up and turned back to the dance floor. And when we find a key to that door.... We will remember..... ||OOC: Omifudgesticks!! =O Quest hasn't been forgotten!!||
