Ren and Rin came into the room, the two looked like a ferfect compliment for each other and acted far more lifelike together, "Doctor Len sent us to see what you needed, captain." Rin said.

"On the contrary. The Infinity Unit will have many safeguards in place to prevent the destruction of an entire species. In case you did not notice, I prefer to theorise than conflict... I beleive MAI, however, is unable to withstand my program, and may, in fact, be unstable... The Infinity Unit shall have no such problem..." DAI explained, calmly, "However, the Infinity unit will be restrained until it is deemed controllable... Erin has made this information perfectly clear..."

(Tigrex, you realise that the non-RP posts you have that have no real OOC value to them can be discounted as spam if you don't have RP text to them? just wondering, since you seem a bit spammy lately...) Jad flicked on his ship speaker, making Another Planet blare throughout his ship for the next eight minutes. (I'm waiting for RP posts before I can act...)

"Blake nodded, struggling not to wince from the mild spasms of pain and the more frequent aches that his body endured every so often. "Treated right as rain. Lovely doctor, that... ah... October. Quiet type. Shy, timid, no?"
Nolan glanced at the speck of telltale light at the edge of their field of vision. "If they have any technology worth anything whatsoever, they'll be able to detect any intrusion. Didn't the reports talk about some sort of super android they'd acquired? Rosa? We have no idea how powerful that thing is."
Nolan pulled up out-of-date specs on the monitor. "Seems... not too advanced, but still. It would be hard to get past this robot's sensors. And, you may not have noticed, but I'm human and therefor, clearly visible at all times."
Then an idea sparked in Nolan's head. "But... I could stay here - be a decoy. If you're confident of your stealth skills, you could board while I occupy them with meaningless messages and such. What do you think?"
Lark stared up at the night sky. Small, bright specks of light dazzled in the air, surrounded by voluminous expanses of black void. Space. Nothingness. A vacuum.
"Why are you going to leave?" Asked the voice behind her. Talon. His eyes were full of concern.
"None of your business," Lark replied cheekily. She pursed her lips as she remained there, staring at the vast space that was nothing. She was... deciding on her destination, perhaps.

Layla shook her head in disagreement, no matter what this thing would say to her, nothing would change. "Thats where your flaws lay, DAI, you determine outcomes judging by logical happenings that are likely, but not guaranteed. Nothing, absolute nothing, could restrain a demon like that. History only repeats itself in a never-ending cycle of destruction, yes, people CAN change, but they never do, and even if they do change, its only a temporary change, and then they fall back into that cycle, no matter if its that same person or not. Try looking up the battle between the planets of Omegas and Cluster Primera IV in 6087 A.D -both planets were destroyed after Omegas greedily violated their peace treaty for an attempt to make a profit!" Layla was completely serious now, her expression held that of unbreakable determination. Her eyes briefly gleamed with a reddish light, but flashed back to their icy blue right after. "I have literally seen the inner intentions of many people, including Erin herself, and they aren't to bring peace and safety with Infinity -I can guarantee that for certain." Layla pulled up a document on her computer, it held various data and health records about her in it. One section of it contained info on what she meant by she can 'see' people's intentions -and it was true. "Many years ago, when I was only 14, the scientists of Exias started up a series of experiments on me and several others...and one of which included exposing us to pure Novias energy...the mysterious power of the stars and the rest of the vast cosmos. I thought nothing had happened from it...but several days later, I was no longer able to see people as how they looked physically, but I saw them as how they looked inside...I could see their souls....and I could see the shadows that come to take them away when they die." Layla explained, her voice grew quieter the more she spoke, obviously painful memories came with this. "There are pure souls -angels of a sort- that really can change, like Kira was. Then, there are darkened souls -demons- that intend vengeance and hatred, I see Erin becoming that way...Jeremy is only selfish, but he too could follow her. And there are those in between who lost their way long ago, Reapers as some call us, we're the ones cursed with this power...I wish I never attained it..." She closed her eyes, sighing deeply. "...Most machines like you and all those other robots don't have that aura to you, you all just appear gray and neutral. But I have this feeling that Infinity will not be as pure as said, that thing will turn out a demon just as it's creators..." Layla picked up her laptop and left the lab again, not waiting for DAI's reply, for it's opinion did not matter to her. She set up again in a seemingly unoccupied lab room, searching for and downloading various historic events and data on the Xaphnis Matyr into one large file, then sent the data transfer request to a certain signal.
~
Rosa still stood by the window, awaiting any signs of a possible threat from the oncoming object. Her communications device (the panels on the sides of her head) shifted into a signal retriever, a faint red beam of light reflected out from it, heading towards wherever she received the signal from. "Retrieving data from pinpoint address 90-78-52-81-0....upload successful..."
~
Layla waited patiently for Rosa to finish uploading the monstrous file, never once hesitating on the fact that she was giving information to Rosa who was technically her enemy. "Kira and Damien created you to adapt and improvise in situations, to use known data as a way to better your own self. Well, hopefully you may learn from past mistakes caused by others...Rosa."

DAI was silent at Layla's remark... then said, oh so quietly, "I wouldn't..."

Jad spun about in his chair, a 3-D layout of everything surrounding him. and ahead whas the gas giant. the blue form of the Jupiter was inside it, tinted orange by the sphere in the hologram. outside the window, in the same position was a far more real and far less transparent gas giant. Behind him, the new ship crept up.

Marth entered Jad's new ship - whatever it was called, the warship. The quiet, polished, purity of it all allured him inside.
Inside, Marth just wandered the halls aimlessly, deeply repressed into his own mind, exploring the subconscious scar that death had caused.

Kaito rounded the corner, clutching his head and bumped into Marth. He looked up. "I'm sorry! I just... Damn Jad and his music!"
Jad had apparently taken a liking to Drum and Bass, and the halls behind Kaito practically pulsed with the music. As the door closed, quiet resumed, and Kaito sighed in relief.

(( xd Jad certainly strikes me as the loud type of person...))
Layla shut her eyes, deep in thought and concentration. The image of the Xaphnis Matyr still burned into her thoughts. Every single line and circle, every little intricate detail, even the exact colors and textures, all remained a fresh memory in Layla's mind. Why would such an insignificant thing stick with her for this long? Because it was not insignificant, Layla had seen the true intentions and explanations hidden within the inner sanctums of this image, it's vast power and knowledge were completely awe inspiring to those who could understand it. The glyph itself represented life, the web within the outer circles took on the role of every living being out there, all connected by thin little strands of the single web. The moon above the glyph was where most would assume is "heaven", the celestial power of the cosmos resided here, most believe. And below rested the bloodbath that was humanity, revealed in all it's impurity. But there was far more complexity to this picture that simply could not be described in mere words. Layla opened her eyes again, staring at her computer screen, then finally got up the effort to start working on the bare basics of a new project. Project "Eclipse", the celestial guardian.
