D turned to his sister fully and took a step towards her. "If it comes to that then you can help me face off against Legion. Until then i want to try a less.... battle hungry technique." D said to his sister before reaching out and placing a hand on her shoulder. He gave it a light squeeze and released her.
"You may be right though extracting information from Mazz at this point in time may be difficult. This may have to be dealt with in the morning.. once he's sober." D stated aloud in mid thought.

"Dear brother, do you even think we have that kind of time? For all we know Legion could come out at any second. Even with Dag trying as best he can to hold Legion back, Legion is getting stronger, I can feel it. Sooner or later Dag may no longer be able to handle Legion at all." Ivy gently took a step back away from her brother after he squeezed her shoulder.

"Then what would you have me do? Call out Legion? Fight him to the death?" D said as he crossed his arms over his chest. His sister was leaving him with no other option than fighting something he didnt like. D knew when to pick his battles... now was not the time.
"Let you fight him so that one of you can die? Is that what you want me to do?" D said sternly.

Ivy looked at her brother.
"I would rather fight Legion than have you fight him. Besides, Legion would rather fight me than you. I can feel it D, trust me on this."

"Fine. If it comes to that ill let you fight Legion. But until that point..." D said as he raised a finger. "In the meantime i want more information. I dont want this to turn into an all out brawl between you and him. Plus i dont want either of you getting hurt and by that i mean you and Dag." D said firmly.
D then turned away from his sister and headed in the direction he sensed Mazz. Sober, Drunk, Sleeping or Awake he would get the information he needed from this man, before it was too late. Hopefully Legion would give him enough time to find his answers.... if not then...
There will be a showdown between Ivy and Legion... and neither will come out unscathed... D thought to himself as he continued on his way.

Ivy could hear her brother's thoughts, and she waved her hand to make it seem like she punched her brother in the shoulder.
"Watch it dear brother, you may just get your wish." Ivy thought to herself.

D barely twitched when he felt the mental punch of his sister on his arm. He only shook his head in response and slipped into the shadows. Locating Mazzaker, D appeared besides the passed out male and knocked upon his coffin.
"Mazz? Mazzaker?" D tried to wake the creature.

The coffin lid suddenly flew open, practically exploded open. It seemed that there was nothing in there... except a blackness that shouldn't be there. The coffin itself seemed deeper than it should be. An eyeless snake rose up from it's depths, opened it's maw, and a red eyeball poked out of it's mouth glaring at D with a lidless gaze.
A disembodied voice followed, sounding tired, "What? Oh, it's just you. What is it?"

D froze still when the Coffin flew open, he relaxed a little when he saw the eyeless serpant emerge from the casket. Yeah that wasnt strange in the least, a eyeless snake.. with a lidless eye in its jaws, well it didnt beat the castle, but it was a reminder of it. D snapped from his thoughts when the Snake spoke.
"I need information from you." D asked gently. "Ill repay you in return for the knowledge that i seek." D stated, knowing that most things came with a price or a favor in return.
"I need you to teach the Scythe how to distingiush between souls. I want to help Daggerfang, he's helped me in the past so much i need to repay the debt. The only way i can help him is if i get rid of Legion and the only way to do that, short of letting my sister and Legion go head to head, is to reap Legions soul with the Scythe. But it cant distinguish between Legion and Daggerfangs souls. The Scythe stated that you would know how to do this. I need it to be able to do this so i can help him. So i need your help." D said sincerely.

((I'm really tempted to just beat Legion/Daggerfang without D even knowing it. Then when D comes back, Daggerfang is on the ground, Legion is gone, and everything is just peachy, but I know that that won't happen, so I'll just keep that as a thought.))

((I haven't heard from her since that last time she was online, and if I could convince Kronoton into having Legion come out, and then giving me a hint as to how to get Legion's soul out of Daggerfang, iI'd have Ivy destroy Legion without D finding out till last minute, and both Daggerfang and Ivy would be hurt. After having a brutal beating, and I'm sure that i would get a response out of D, that would more than likely get Ivy killed by him, or hurt worse, but it would be worth a try, just got to wait for Kronoton to get online again))

The snake dropped back into the coffin. A pale, taloned hand actually grabbed the lip of the coffin itself. Mazz hauled himself up out of the coffin and the lid slapped back on. It vanished into the floor. The vampire sighed, "It knows which soul is which. The problem is the cutting. The scythe was designed to cut individual souls, not mixed souls in one body. I can isolate both Legion and Dag in the same body, but only for a brief time."
Mazz yawned like a cat. He was obviously tired... and still having a headache. The vampire needed a really long sleep... about ten years worth....
"If Legion is left alone... they'll eventually merge with Dag's soul, then I'll never be able to get it isolated without some serious repercussions."

Legion and Dag's souls Merging?! D didnt like the sound of that. D grabbed hold of Mazzaker by the collar and pulled him close. "Then isolate the souls and ill do the rest." D said firmly. "Come on!" D said before urging Mazz out the door.

Ivy appeared behind Dag.
"I can remove Legion from you Dag, but you'll have to let him out. I don't care if I die in the process, but I have a feeling the what D is going to try to do won't work and it will take a while to get it done for them. But, my way would be faster, more painful, but at least Legion would be out of your body forever. I'm sure you want that, correct?" Ivy said in a cold yet soft tone as she starred at Dag's back and shoulders.
((sorry, couldn't resist))
