Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be...  They made it out in front of the lake as the explanation was given about the Honey Girls. It was was quite disturbing as well. Any ability of such a nature was dangerous. Mind control was, from Adell's point of view, one of the most underhanded techniques out there. But of course, the explained ability, combined with his memories of past encounters, and threats of the future, ultimately lead him to further believe in this need to get stronger. If beings like this existed, he would need to know that he was ready to face threats of that level. "And what has stopped them from trying that?" He asked her. A dangerous question, as for all he knew they may have done so and succeeded in gaining ultimate control of one or more the nations. He wasn't certain he wanted to know if that was the case. As beyond disturbing, such knowledge might be dangerous to have. It did make Adell thankful that the slimes were allies for the time being. Of course, he was unaware of the destructive paths that Rune and Hedoro took in the past, aside from the latter's attempted conquest, let along the destruction of entire species. The relationship did feel strange. He ultimately sought to move towards good and what was right. Yet, to be allies with a village that had tried to take over the world in the past... It seemed there was some friction that he would just have to accept. Sometimes, being a kage could be so complicated. Of course subjects changed soon, as she refereed to the great sphere to him. She told him that he would be able to get a scroll from someone within. A spark of excitement formed on his face, but he worked to contain it. He couldn't very well just start jumping around, as the leader of the village. "Very well. Thank you for showing me the way." He bowed his head lightly, before turning to head towards the sphere, looking for an entrance. From the way she spoke, it sounded like she intended them to part ways for now. If that was the case, then very well.  Mamichi would only look at Adell and Smile at the question letting his mind turn and toil over the possibility of the Maliae having already used shrewd politics to conquer the world around him. However in Truth Mamichi didn't know the business of the Village after all Hedoro wasn't really to be bothered with her progeny and Mamichi spent her time chasing after her mistress. "Come..." Mamichi would say leading him along the banks of the Lake until a walkway made itself apparent, it was a pier that stretched out to the Sphere and seemed to anchor it to the shore. "I shall wait here..." Mamichi would say sitting on the edge and dipping her pale shoeless feet and legs into the water it was now readily apparent that the water was tinted blue for some reason. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell followed her readily as she lead him, moving along the edge of the lack with her to reach the path to the sphere. Wet wooden planks lay before them. He nodded to her as she said she'd wait "Thank you for the tour and your assistance." He glanced down towards the lake's water that she would lower her legs into. He could see the color of the water as unusual. One wondered if it was really water, or perhaps the entire lack was a gathering of Mallae mass. Adell would turn and walk along the pier, quickly approaching the sphere. He glanced back to mallae for only a moment, before moving to enter. He would push through whatever resistance it gave, if any, as he stepped inside. His eyes would immediately search the inside environment, trying to orient himself as he would search for the person whom would provide him with the scroll he desired to make use of. "Hello?" Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell would find himself flowing through the walls. There was no door, it felt like wading into warm jello. He was about to question his ability to breathe, when he diffused into an opening. He found that much of the sphere was hollow, and indeed, he stood in what looked like an office made of Gel, where another slime girl sat behind a desk. High above he could see where a few pipes entered into the room, pumping moist air inside. High behind her, he could could see what looked like a part of a faintly glowing sphere, that seemed to undulate and beat every few seconds. As he called out, the slime girl, who's form was a sparkly silver. He drew to the desk as she greeted him with her smile. It would be strange to imagine staring at a face and greeting one that wasn't looking back at you. Not that Adell was aware that the Mallae didn't technically see. "Hello madam... I've come seeking to learn from your village. I wish to see any and all jutsu available to visitors. As well, I'd like to learn a little bit more about your village, if possible, including it's history and origins." The Receptionist behind the desk would nod in response moving to a cubby behind her that was sealed against the moist air of the room in a small glass box that held enough pace in front of the shelf to hold a normal person. Her body glowing she would seem to simply pass through the glass and Adell would realize she synchronized her form with the Glass and absorbed it into her body allowing her to pass through without exposing the texts to the wet of the reception area. She would produce an ornate box and select several scrolls placing them with the box which would once closed disappear in a burst of smoke as if it had been summoned elsewhere. The Maliae Girl would phase herself through the glass once more and come to a stop before the Hardened Gel desk and clear a space revealing a summoning circle and putting some chakra into it the box would poof back into existence. However before Adell could grab it she would produce a clipboard and hold it in his direction. It was a sign out form for the scrolls it seemed they were running this place like it was nothing but a Library which was rather interesting to think about. Once he signed it he would be allowed to take the ornate box and hopefully he would have the presence of mind not to oen the delicate paper in this remarkably wet room. /---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OoC: You have one too many end quote codings... Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell waited, watching as the woman took out the glass box. He was a little perplexed by the glass box at first. But, given that he lived in a humid area himself, he was somewhat familiar with the effect of air on paper at times. He watched her body glow as she faded into the glass, almost as if she fused with it to reach the scrolls inside it. Holding a small, decorated box. Once they had been placed, with a puff of smoke, the box disappeared, and the slime girl moved back to the front desk after defusing. She began to clear the desk now, leaving him confused. He looked to her, perplexed. "What was all that about?" He asked her as she summoned the box right there from a symbol made apparent there now. He would reach to take it, only to be stopped as a clipboard was revealed. He stopped himself, scratching his chin lightly. He moved to take the clipboard, seeing it was for check out. He signed his name quickly, setting it down, before taking the box and thanking the slime woman. "Thank you for your help." He turned to leave, moving to the wall and slipping back through it. Mamichi would look at the the approaching Adell the box in his hands was of no real consequence though it seemed like they were gonna let him learn more than most. "So what all the Glass Doll give you?" she would ask obviously referring to the mute gel receptionist who shined with a silver light. Mamichi wasn't all that interested to be honest but how much they gave him and what he was going to learn from them might be useful to her in the future if she decided to eat him or something. Speaking of eating people she was reminded that she would have to go take a bite of the Honey girl she gave the cube to so that she would be able to learn their composition and mimic it. Mamichi was one of the more advanced Maliae capable of such complicated feats no doubt because she spent her time around the Mistress. Mamichi was able to control herself in a maliae mist form vapour into the clouds and control that much Maliae Vapor with little trouble and mass convert gel as well, similarly she had rendered herself completely immune to Lightning jutsus and all it took was roughly 1/3 of her chakra which she had already gained back awhile ago. Mamichi would smile innocently at Adell as a thought popped into her head. "How about we spar... Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell stepped of the dock, reaching her, as he held the box carefully in both hands. She asked him about a "Glass Doll" and he would respond "Nothing, but this silver slime girl handed me this box full of scrolls. She wasn't very talkative, but she was still quite helpful. I asked for the village's jutsu and a little bit about the village itself. This is what she gave me." He would wait to open the box until they could stop somewhere, preferably a bit farther from the lack to avoid the area where the air was so humid. Adell himself had grown quite a bit stronger as well. After all, there was a reason he managed to reach the rank of kage. He had managed to develop skills with four different elements and gained a mastery of incredibly powerful jutsu. And he was working to develop a new kind of technique, drawing upon pure energy to do so. He had managed to add this energy to any weapon he wields, however, there were still ways to use it that he had to master. He looked to her a bit take aback at first as she offered to spar, but quite quickly, he was left smiling as he nodded with anticipation at the idea. "I would love to fight you again." He said, before asking her. "Where would we do it exactly?" The scale of their ninjutsu at that time had been incredible, and by now had become even greater in size. Mamichi would ignore him as he didn't make the connection between glass doll and the silver gel who fused with glass. Standing up the blue water would run off her legs into a small puddle around her feet before it rather strangely seemed to get sucked into the soles of her feet. "Well considering out last fight it would be better to take it outside the village to one of the training grounds outside the village. What sort of terrain would you prefer?" she asked as they backtracked leisurely through the village and out the front gates taking a path near the ferry to a field that was surprisingly full of different types of Terrain. Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell nodded to her as she suggested a training area outside. She then offered him the chance to choose the type of area to fight him. He followed her as he thought it over. It had to be someplace that most the slime girl couldn't get an unfair advantage from. The fact that she was basically invulnerable to physical attacks combined with her affinity for water meant that, despite being a mist ninja, it would be a bad idea to fight with water jutsu. And that was it, he needed to pick a place with the least amount of open water. He may not have been a genius, but he could at least figure that out. They made their way to the gates. Adell finally came to a decision. He doubted they would have a desert area, given how humid the area in general was, but he could at least pick the next best place. With the air outside of the village's warming effect being colder, it wouldn't be quite as humid, but he still felt he would pick the place most suited to his advantage. "Fine, I pick...A rock terrain, one a ways away from any real vegetation". Such a place seemed perfect. The earth wouldn't hold any significant amount of water, and there were be no rivers nearby, combined with there being no plants to be damaged by their fight, and a much lower chance of casualties. There would be plenty of earth to be used and integrated with his lava techniques as well. Mamichi would scoff, "I guess I should be glad we don't have a desert Terrain." She'd say laughing as she gave him a smack on the back. After a minute ot two of walking they would pass a wooden pole that stood about Ten feet high a foot in diameter with a bright orange stripe painted at the top. If Adell's eyes were sharp enough he would pick out a bright color of orange half a mile away in two directions, piecing it together these were the corners of a Square patch of earth and underfoot as they passed became stones. However as Adell said the world was colder and the ground held about two inches of snow evenly and yet Mamichi continued to move barefoot, then again who knew if the Maliae even felt the cold. Eventually Mamichi would put a hand to Adell's Stomach as they walked a signal for him to stop and she would take a few more steps turning once she was about ten feet away from him. "Alrighty then hot stuff, let's get this spar under way... and try not to break our sparring grounds too much these were a b***h to create ya know." Adell Terumi, THE GREATEST NINJA IN THE WORLD, wanna-be... Adell grinned lightly, laughing with her as she mentioned luck at there being no deserts. He would find there were walking past a strange wooden pole. He would see a glnt of orange in the distance, as there were two more wodden poles, set with orange upon them. It seemed all this was set here to display the containment area for there battleground. And below them was stone, lightly laced with bits of snow here and there. They stopped then, as Mamichi stopped him, before moving to a distance of ten feet from him. Adell slowly nodded, grabbing his kage's robes and removed them, along with the kage hat, taking a moment to walk back towards the pole and place them there, before turning and going right back to the spot. "Alright then, let's begin. I've seen what you can do and take, so don't expect me to go too easy on you." He was now clad in his crimson and golden battle robes, colors meant to represent his clan of the Terumi. He, thankfully, was wearing full shoes, as opposed to sandles, which would have been detrimental in the snow. He'd have to start out small scale for now, after all, he didn't want to destroy the place. He drew his battle axe calmly, gathering his chakra. He lightly touched his hand to the blade before quickly rushing forward, pulling it back and slashing at her with a sideways slice. The blade was heated just below the point at which it would glow. Mamichi would hold her ground as Adell charged the top of Mamichi's Umbrella would suddenly snap of and with great celerity she would grab the shape and it's fold outwards like a shield hardening into the steel like shade of color as the Umbrella handle underwent the same transformation into a makeshift weapon. Mamichi's shield would take the blow the red hot metal not quite hot enough to slice through metal completely though it would pierce the shield causing it to crumble but the momentum of the blow was lost. His motion stalled Mamichi would take a swing at Adell with her makeshift weapon in a diagonal downward slash from her right side to the left the shield having been on her left hand and arm. /---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Adell quickly flooded his chakra with hair as it suddenly grew long, flowing out at mamichi under Adell's will, the thick hair growing strong as steel, it would block her blade while growing out to try and envelop her arm and flow out behind her to trap her. Parts of it would form the shape of a lion's head behind her. He quickly raised his heated axe again, slashing down at her, intent to do some damage. Of course the act of contacting her and damaging her with it would use up the heat from it, making it no longer able to damage her until he reheated it. Unless Mamichi did something to disrupt his attacks, Adell would pull back with his axe while using the lion's mane's hair to hold her in place and quickly begin forming hand seals. He would activate a genjutsu, causing him to appear to erupt in flames, along with his hair, becoming pure fire. To whatever senses Mamichi possesed, he would become fire itself, as the fear of fire would be implanted into her heart. Mamichi seemed to freeze as the genjutsu took affect bound in place as the axe rocketed through her from it all seemed to perfect and it was, the hardened gel shell of Mamichi's Vodoi Rebenka would crumple under the blow an empty husk thanks to the Art of Substitution... or was it? looking down at his Feet Adell would find that the Doll had none Mamichi had merely emptied herself out through the feet of the fake body, and being a Maliae the senses Adell tried to target to initiate the Genjutsu were unavailable to her to feel, besides she was water... fire didn't really scare her after all she was elementally superior in her very existence. Suddenly however something very familiar would blurb upwards a ball of Hardened Gel no doubt filled with Napalm Gel that would explode once air met it's contents, but Adell had nothing to worry of fire. However that was not the case... inside was a chemical that would smoke heavily when exposed to air. So once the orb broke it would explode with smoke into the area, though that said the smoke was by no means lethal at most it would make him dizzy for awhile. /---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.
