Bankotsu just kept swinging his legs he was out of distance from most ninjutsu attacks for the most part but was still in eye sight. So he just kept his eye on the battle as this guy was about to preform so "Ultimatum attack".

After Angel launched his attack((from like 50 damn pages ago stare )) he jumped back ten feet as to be next to the gate. He was ready to defend or attack. He pulled out his shining golden blade and got into stance. It was a very balanced stance, mastered by Angel. He waited for something to happen.
