Her head lowerd as she thought. Could she really? After all, she'd confessed her love to him and all he did was say how sweet and "unique" she was. She breathed a ragity breath. "Yes," she said, even though it would kill her. Omny was just a maiko! Tora began to sob silently. Tears streamed down her face and she did nothing to hide them, but no sound came from her.
