This all goes back many many years ago. My sister and I, Rose were captured by the Adversary. We'd been part of a chain gang. We were forced to traipse through the wilderness. He was always watching, waiting. I feared he was planning to kill us. One day, the wolf killed the guards. Most of the other prisoners tried to flee. Foolish. We were all chained together, there was no way for them to escape. I picked up a stray sword and faced the wolf. He LAUGHED at me. The nerve of him. Since we amused the beast, he helped us escape to the Mundy world.
Fabletown was formed some time later.A few hundred or so years later, I was sent to seek out the wolf. I had the knife with me
