Because it is too long to quote Macks I will just say this.
I am newbie, and I absolutely agree with Macks that we have some huge footsteps to follow in.
This place is absolutely amazing, and I love it so much.
I want to especially thank Anya, because she is the one that puts up my constant questions, sprite changes, story updates, etc.
I also want to thank everyone else for being supportive and encouraging to everybody. As I am writing this, (keep in mind I am The Incredible Sap, who sentimentalizes ((is that even a word?)) anything and everything) I remember Melph correcting me when I was wrong, Andy, Tessie, and Serenity letting me interact with another character for the first time, and today Yuu telling me she enjoyed reading my Eztli's post. Thanks guys. You have made my life alot more fun and enjoyable.
...
Wow, all that, compared to my earlier post of the lame variety. I must be getting tired or something... sweatdrop

Well, now that I've claimed the first birthday wish, I'd like to say a few, well a lot, of things about TTR and the wonderful people who are part of this special community.
Believe me when I say that I never imagined TTR would live five long years when I first created this Pokemon roleplay. I thought maybe a few people would join and that it would last a few months, at best, but I'm terribly happy to see that it's grown into something so much more, especially under the care of Aire. <3
I remember way back when TTR would explode 10-15 pages a day when it first started to pick up and I had such a hard time running the whole operation. And then high school started and I couldn't handle the load of running this fantastic RP and deal with school at the same time. Aire really saved TTR and I'll always be grateful that she decided to take the reins and run TTR when I couldn't manage it anymore.
Aire;; Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm really grateful that you've evolved TTR into something so in depth and amazing. You're an amazing operator, create amazing sprites, and a good peace keeper. Not to mention Kasiya is a kickass trainer! I really lover her character and I think you've made her into a wonderful girl .Thanks for everything you've done and everything you will do.
Mike;; We sure do have a lot of history Mike! I remember going to you with a lot of life problems and you'd always cheer me up whenever I was down. Always. You're an amazing person who has help me grow as a person, especially when it came to being more confident out in the "real world." Not to mention your amazing writing skills and characterization of Mike that inspires me to be an even better writer myself. I probably don't have to tell you, but Mike is and always has been one of my favorite characters in TTR. And you'll always be my first TTR friend. <3
Macks;; I'm really glad we've become such close friends. I love our (almost) daily chats and all the crazy, epic, silly, and cute Pokemon related pictures you always send me. They make my day. I truly love Kilik's character and it's cute how Mitsu and Kilik ended up together. Oh, and thanks to you, I can't see an Elekid/Electabuzz/Electivire without thinking of you, haha.
Willow;; You and I both disappeared a lot, but hey, it's what life does right? Haha, I love the fact that we still both end up coming back no matter what. I hope you return more often, I miss Nina and Sabrina who both had amazing personalities and their own unique sense of humor.
Andy;; It's no secret. I love Keegan, but then again, who doesn't? I really loved the little Keegan and Mitsu moments that we've had in TTR. I hope we have a lot more and that Keegan stays as badass as he always is. Btw, does your real name happen to be Alex? ;3
Vi;; I like how we met at one of my random quest treads and then I invited you to TTR and now you're one out of best writers. And then we end up going to the same college! Haha, I'm excited to meet you in person and I hope we both are able to stick to TTR throughout our years at Berkeley.
Tessie;; We don't really know each too well. But you've become one of my favorite RPers here in TTR. I love reading your posts and RPing with you. I sure hope you stay here a lot longer.
Crenu;; You're a pretty cool person. Our random chats on MSN are nice (we should have them more often) and I really like your character Shiro. I can't wait to read more of your posts!
Suisse;; I felt that we had something in common when you first came. We both suffer from something horrible: AP classes. They made me disappear a lot more often than I wanted. I wish you luck in all of your classes and I hope you're able to manage TTR and APs all at once, I was never able to, ahah. I also love your posts and I hope you stay with TTR for a long time, even if there are occasional disappearances. x3
I haven't really gotten to know everyone here but I really hope I'll get to know you all on a more personal level at some point.
I grew up with TTR. I created it when I was 13 (I still can't fathom how I did.) and now as it's turning 5, and now I'm 18. Life had had it's up and downs but when I needed someone to turn to there was always TTR and everyone here. My second family is here and I can't express how much I'm thankful for that fact. <3
So to wrap this really, really long message up, I want to say that I'm truly happy that my 13 year old self thought it would be a fun idea to create a Pokemon roleplay. Thank you to everyone and I hope you've enjoyed TTR as much as I have. And I hope it'll be here for many, many more years.
EDIT;; I'm sorry for this super long post. whee

I know I haven't been around much, so I don't have much credibility, but I still would like to extend a thanks to y'alls, and hope I'm not out of place. All of you bring something great to the atmosphere here; everyone is so creative, constructive, receptive, open, unique, and just fun. Quick thanks to Mitsu, for creating this, for finding me, for being so real and thoughtful, and for our always interesting friendship; we'll have one hell of a time up north! And of course, a thanks to Aire, for handling the mind-boggling volume of TTR, whilst remaining such a vunderful, amazing personality. Thanks Mike and Max, Melph, Lala, Arashi, Crenu, Andy, Tessie, Mag, Suisse -- close or otherwise, thanks for being such great people & such great writers. I am just about overflowing with good will for y'alls, so hoping the good vibes reach and you all have a kickass day. Or I will personally come and enforce it! D:<

Hello one and all. I would like to personally announce, on this day, July 29th, 2010, that TTR turns 5 years old! That's right, TTR has been going strong for 5 whole years. We have grown from a small group of trainers to a respectable cast with tremendous amounts of history and player relations. We have grown closer both in character and out of character, many of us becoming very good friends outside of TTR. This is no easy task for an online fan-based roleplay, no sir, and none of this would be possible if it wasn't for the continued support of our wonderful older members, and the influx of fantastic new writing talent! As such, Aire and I have decided to give you, the writers, a little gift to show our appreciation. As a reward for your amazing contributions to The Three Relics, I have come up with a point system that you can trade in for extra levels for your Pokemon! For those of us who have been around for the full five years, we understand how difficult training can be, especially some of the stronger Pokemon. These points were made with that feeling in mind, as well as giving the newer players a little incentive and reward for joining the best Pokemon roleplay around!
The details are as follows: Each player will be given a specific amount of points based not only on the longevity of their stay here at TTR, but also how often they have posted and the quality of their posts. Those who have been around the longest no doubt will have a greater amount of points, but remember, they have been with us since the very beginning, and have earned every bit of them! These points can be traded in for levels on your Pokemon, but there are certain minor restrictions. The higher level the Pokemon is, the more points it will take to raise them up. Pokemon level 1-20 cost 1 point to raise them a level, Pokemon 21-30 cost 2 points, 31-40 cost 3 points, and 41-50 cost 4. No Pokemon can receive more than 3 levels, and Pokemon over level 50 cannot be raised.
And here are the points!
18 points - Mitsu 15 points - Kasiya, Jae, Mike, Kilik, Keegan, Dante 12 points - Sasha, Ryka, Nina 9 points - Robin, Crenu, Jason, Miharu, MA, Jun, Riza, Train, Leon, Serenity, Ven, Maven 6 points - Katie, Sam, Eztl, Crush, Tyra, Eraku, Junko 3 points - Everyone else
Now all you need to do is figure out who you want to spend your points on, then IM or PM either me or Aire and we will add them to your profiles ASAP. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.
Other than that, we hope you continue to enjoy TTR, and let's hope for many more years of fun and drama!
Edit: I'll post something sweet and nostalgic when I come back from work today. <3

Five years old already? heart I joined this RP when I was 12, I think. After all those crappy illiterate RPs on Neopets this was such a welcomed change. And I couldn't be happier about it. You guys have been with me as I've grown and matured, and you've definitely made a huge impact on my growing up. Not to mention helped me as a writer!
As Mike said, this isn't just an internet thing. This atmosphere brings us all closer together as people, not just screen names, and that's such a hard thing to find today. I know I've come and gone a lot, but I really cherish this place, and many of you are some of the very closest friends I have to this day (not as close as I'd like though blaugh ). I know that I can always come back here and feel welcome, no matter what, and I hope everyone else always feels the same. I really love all of you guys. Let's stay together for 5, 10, 25 more years. Friends forever! heart that was reeeally bad
Thanks so much to Anya for being mommy to us and dealing with us on a near-daily basis. You take care of this, and you deserve all our thanks! And of course Mitsu for making and fostering it~

The TTR has been quite something. I wasn't much of a roleplayer before I joined, and I'm still not much of one. But it's been a good experience thus far and I hope to continue.
Seeing as there was a lot of support from the general populous, I'd like to make an official request for that Mawile. I just thought of a pretty good way to incorporate it into the resolution of my current story arc.

I would also like to add that some characters have only 2-3 Pokemon on their team, and more points than normally could be legally spent on them (or enough to meet the exact limit, etc). Those characters that are affected will still get all their legal points awarded, though I will allocate them fairly and evenly between their Pokemon. 3nodding
Also if everyone would PM me instead of Mike with how they'd like to spend their points it would be easier for the changes to be made and recorded properly in my handy-dandy notebook of TTR awesome experience. ^w^
EDIT: Okay after doing the update (late i know...) I'm now waiting for PMs about points for:
Mike/Sasha Kilik/Maz Robin/Dante Crenu/Carlos Train Serenity Ryka/Blythe Claire/Mag Will Maxi Nero Jomei
And on that note, Mike, if you could contact your buddies and see if they're still interested in roleplaying with us it would be greatly appreciated. <3
My brain is still waking up so I will post something mushy later-ish =P

Happy fifth birthday to you, TTR.
I can't stay for the cutesy nostalgic memories, however. I've pinpointed that nostalgia in general is what's been causing me to not feel well lately. I'm sorry.

5 years? Wow...
I know I haven't been here as long as a lot of other people have but it feels like a lot longer than it actually has been. I stumbled across the link to TTR in Aire's sig in her quest thread back when I'd planned to quit gaia for good. I was looking for someone to give all my gold and items too but when I saw that link, being the pokemon fan I am I had to check it out. I'm so glad I did, cause here I am now! >w< I hope we can continue this awesome RP because some days I think I would die inside without it. It has been an honor roleplaying and interacting with you all, and I'm looking forward to roleplaying with a lot of the new characters too. Thanks for everything guys! <3
