News: A meteor has just broken through the Earth's atmosphere. While scientists don't believe the impact will cause another Ice Age, they do believe that anyone on the Hoenn region should find cover, or if they have time, flee the region.

Hunter looked over at Deryx, and found he had a lack of words. He looked back at the screen, shich showed a small speck of bright light moving through the sky. He looked at Deryx again. "I doubt we could really stop a meteor like that, even if we had more people around right now, unless of course we had an extremely powerful Pokemon such as Groudon, which we don't."

Deryx thought about that, then thought about using pokemon to fly into the sky when it got close ennough, but then remembered that Sturn is also a steel type so it would hurt him, "We have to try. What will hapen to all the pokemon that can't get away?" Deryx got up and started walking towards the door then remembered something, "Pombii ran outside this morning!" Dery ran out the door relising it was burning hot outside.

*The meteor crashes into the middle of the Hoenn Sea, causing a huge tidal wave that seems as it will be able to douse half the main land.*

Hunter jumped when the screen went fuzzy and a loud noise issued from the speakers. He quickly grabbed the remote and turned it off, then ran to the window and looked up to the sky to locate the meteor. There it was, moving faster and faster with every second toward the surface.

Deryx saw Pombii at the waters edge stareing at the tidal wave coming at him, Deryx ran and grabbed Pombii, "We will never get back to the base in time." Deryx took out Sturns pokeball and released him, returned Troy and Pombii and jumped on to Sturn, "Sturn fly us back to the base hurry. I know its hot but go!" Sturn flew in the air and flew as fast as possible to the base. For some reason Sturn could only fly a few feet off the ground.

Once the meteor hits the surface of the water, Hunter turns around to look for Deryx, and only then realizes he is outside. He rushes outside as quickly as he can and yells for Deryx as loud as his voice will allow. When he looks down at the beach, he can see the water pulling back, signaling the coming of a tsunami. Hunter's eyes open wide. "Oh my God..." he says with a shaky voice.

Sturn turns around the base and Dery notices Hunter outside at the door he yells ahead of him, "Get inside, Get inside, Get inside." Sturn goes flying right at Hunter hitting him inside and the doors close behind them as the water rushes past the doors.

Hunter breathed a sigh of relief when Deryx flew by, and headed back to the base himself. Once entered the base, Hunter went straight to the command center to completely seal the HQ against the large wave that was sure to hit within the next few minutes. There were multiple clunks sounding off the closing of any openings in which water could get in. Hunter went around to inspect things, making sure they were closed tight, when all of a sudden he felt the earth tremble. It wasn't fierce, so Hunter was able to stand up without any risk of falling over. "What was that?" he asked, because he knew it hadn't been long enough for the tsunami to hit yet.

Dery got up and tried to return Sturn but the pokeball system wpouldn't work, "I don't know but from the looks of it, it isnt from the meteorite, the pokeball managment system won't work, they wont open or return pokemon." Deryx kept trying to return Sturn then quit trying, "This sin't just the meteaorite, something is happening here." the earth trembled again this time it was louder and rougher.

The trembling quickly faded away, but now Hunter could hear the rushing of the tsunami growing nearer. A few minutes later the roar was deafening, and he knew the wave was upon them. The HQ shook as the tsunami crashed into it, and immediately, despite the fortifications, cracks and holes open up in the wall that was hit, which begin spewing water.

Deryx looked around this is bad, we only have one usable pokemon right now, Sturn, and water spewing out of holes, Sturn will be no use for those, what will we do?" Deryx thought for a second then another question came to mind, "Do any of your pokeballs work, at least one must."

Hunter pulled out a Pokeball and released Glalie. "My Pokeballs appear to be working fine." he said. "Glalie, use Ice Beam on the holes!" Glalie nodded and shot forth a beam of freezing ice, which froze closed the cracks in the wall, stopping the water from coming in.
