I don't know, I heard him say ring. He's not a Black Lantern, is he? I can't possibly imagine any dance one of those could contrive would ever be considered dirty in anything but the most literal of senses.

Benjamin Poindexter Luthor! Where have you been!? Where are the rings!? Powell, Dox, and Fury killed me!! How did they do that!? They stole our rings. I tried to destroy mine by setting my Sentinel to go critical mass, but . . . it didn't work. There were some complications, but the general gist is that I was thrown clear of the explosion, but I also lost my rings. I believe that Powell's Inner Emo had something to do with things, and as far as I know, Kermit the Frog destroyed the rings.
