When he'd poked the door, Cerri threw up a sound barrier, simply for good measure. At his words, she took a moment to think it through, then nodded. "Ah. That explains a few things, doesn't it?" she murmured, then gave him a shrewd look. "And... his teacher is also?" she asked carefully, not wanting to upset Guan, or pry too much.

"Ruin my fun." Cerri murmured, pouting a moment, eye glinting with laughter. "So Arlen is a phoenix..." she ran a hand through her hair, then bit her lower lip. "Why can't he know yet?"

"Because a) he'll probably have an identity crisis, b) he's not supposed to know until he is done doing whatever it is he is supposed to do, and c) I haven't decided wether I want to be there to see his face or be somewhere far away when he figures out I knew all along," Guan said, grinning at the last one.

The last also had Cerri giggling helplessly for a time, eye dancing. "I see." she managed finally, smiling still. "If you'd like, I could record it for you, so you can do both."

"Ooh, could I write it in code too?" Cerri teased, standing as well. She hesitated briefly, then gave him a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Yeah... I'll see you when I see you, I suppose. Though you have to teach me shogi." she reminded.

"Sleep well." Cerri whispered in reply, smiling as she closed the door. Then, with a yawn, she got dressed for bed and slipped under the covers, giving a happy sigh before drifting off.

Sapphire walks down the stairs her arm still up in it's sling. It was throbbing slightly, but it was much better than the ohte rnight. It would be a few days before she could tumble using it again.
