WoW is an abomination. It has stolen many friends from me into a realm of eliteist chatspeak and hours spent on a game. Hours I neither have to spare, nor wish to spend glued to my computer. Coworkers of mine will literally stand and chat WoW for 6+hours straight at a time. then they go home and play the damned thing. One of them literally plans on taking vacation on the day it is released and a day or two following and spending the time on a marathon run to reach the new level cap of 70. stare
I. Hate. WoW.
On other news, as teh beloved Sporkyness has changed accounts, I am demoting HYPN0TiK, and promoting FRUITFLY_x . . . same mod, new account.

I hate EQ (EverQuest) I also used to play Dark Age of Camelot...
I kindof miss DAoC, but I really like WoW... DAoC had alot more cooler professions... like, you could build siege weapons and use them on the PvP grounds... Someone built a siege ram, and there was a bunch of us just riding in it around one of the towns... (I think it was Tir Na Nog, or whatever it's called) I havn't played that in a while...

The collectables are decent this month. I suspect they will quickly raise in value when the month ends.
The Damascus Armor reminds me of the Daedric armor set from "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind".
The Gift of the Goddess is weird. They shouldn't have released so many diferent styles and varieties (Greek, Egyptian, Indian, Japanese) into one item. The wings are okay (if not a little metallic looking), though the extra arms are random, because of the items they hold and the nasty color they are. If I'm not mistaken, isn't Shiva supposed to be the one with 6 arms?
*rallies for angelic wings, demonic/nitemare wings, and a moon rod*

Who here thinks we need beam sabers besides me?

Well, Gaia loves doing parodies, so a Star Wars one wouldn't be too much of a stretch. I can garuntee, if they do release any item associated with Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings (the evil puprle eye thing that the Dark Halo can do resembles Sauron's Eye), or The Matrix (I wouldn't know what it would be, because Gaia already has numerous sunglasses and shades), it will be CRAZY popular.
*rallies for a bow or a spear, because either of those would be really awesome*

Well, I guess you can say that Beam Sabers are definately very closely related to Star Wars's lightsabers. But technically, they're Nintendo. smile I agree, though. It'd be great to have more weapons. I need my special set of yellow beam saber and star rod eventually. As well as my Crystal Robe.

I like the goddess items, but the armor seems too... well, I don't know, but it's kinda weird. And it doesn't look like it will match well with other things.
And yes, polearms would be kickass.

I think a bow would be pretty cool, but the thing is that I don't really like their swords...they katana's are fine and nice, but the others seems huge and chunky, so I'd be afraid a bow would come out ugly. The armor does look really strange I don't know.

What Nintendo game features the beam saber (besides the "Super Smash Brothers" series)?
The shades of black-like color the armor uses don't quite match with other shades of black used in regular gaia clothing. That, of course, only makes the difference stand out moreso. To add, differences are more apparent when they are close to black (rather than when close to white). In all reality, Gaia hasn't one too well when it comes to armor. The Mythrill Armor looks nice, but it too doesn't match many other things (though at least the staunch gray tones in the silver match with greyscale luminosities).
Yeah, then we probably won't ever see you again if you do go back.
