MISSION- Shadow of the Dessert
We’re getting word that the supposedly abandoned Shadow Pokemon Lab in central Orre is active again. I need you to go there and find out what’s going on.
Take this Disk. It’s got a Data Retrieval Program to copy the files we need. Just get to the Lab’s mainframe and plug it in.
Stealth is critical and I don’t know what their security setup is like. But if you set off the alarm, you’ll have to fight your way out. (If you’re discovered, fight 2 guards with 2-3 pokemon each)
Pokemon: Sandshrew Phanpy Gligar
Rewards: 1200-1500
One bright and sunny morning, Sora was in his room sleeping in on a beautiful Saturday. His pet panda was trying to wake the sleeping Sora up by shaking him, but Sora didn’t wake up a bit. The panda walks over and grabs a pokeball. Somehow, the panda knew how to work it after watching Sora use some pokeballs. The panda releases the pokemon inside the pokeball and a giant, red lizard appears. It roars and roars loudly and looks at Sora. Sora had awakened from hearing the loud roaring and had fallen over his comfy bed. He stands up and looks at Charizard, the lizard, and Primula, the baby panda. “How were you released X? I don’t remember letting you out of your pokeball,” Sora says rubbing his head with a sleepy face. Primula smiled at Sora ran to him to give a hug. Sora looks down and sees that Primula is holding a pokeball. It seems that she never let go of it. “I guess I know who released Charizard now, right Primula?” Sora said picking up the baby panda. Primula kept smiling and gave Sora the pokeball. Sora then returns Charizard into his pokeball by pressing a button and Charizard turns into a red light. The pokeball opens and Charizard goes inside the pokeball. After the pokeball closes and is put away. Sora then looks around the place. “Well, today is a nice day. Let’s go do something fun together,” Sora says putting Primula down. “Let me go change and then we can decide where to go.” He begins to walks towards his closet full of clothes and takes out one. He then walks into his bathroom and changes.
He comes out all ready to go, as though he was going to be journeying. “Alright Primula, it’s time to go,” Sora says picking up the baby panda. He walks over to the door and puts his hand on the knob. He then turns the knob and opens it. Sora and Primula then sees some kind of scientist rushing towards Sora. Sora was surprised and soon enough… boom! Sora and the scientist crashed while Primula was safe since when Sora was hit, she landed on the couch. The scientist stands up and quickly closes the doors, shuts the blinds, and makes sure no one is looking. Sora gets up and looks at the scientist with a mad face. “Hey! Why are you in...” Sora said before he was interrupted by the scientist. “I’m sorry for intruding, but this is very urgent,” the scientist said calmly. Sora and Primula looks at the scientist with a curios face. “I am Brandon, a scientist here in the Aqua labs. I work with other different scientists and people who aren’t scientists. Anyways, it is time to talk about the important stuff. Some scientists and others have recently discovered that the laboratory in Orre has just been active. We don’t know why, but we believed that no one used it anymore. I want you to go and see what is going on in there. Here I want you to take this to copy down data,” Brandon says, taking out a miniature disk that says “Data Retrieval Program.” “All you have to do is slide it into the lab’s mainframe and you should have it. Easy as can be,” Brandon said, holding the disk out to Sora. Sora looks at the disk and grabs it. He walks over and places it into his backpack and then puts the backpack on his pack. “Okay. I got it now. A new mission is to be done,” Sora says looking at Brandon. Brandon bows to Sora and begins to walk out of the room. He then closes the door.
Sora turns his head towards Primula. Primula was a bit sad that she wouldn’t be able to spend time with Sora. “It’s okay Primula. We’ll have a great time tomorrow,” Sora said with a smile. “I should be back at nigh time, I hope. I’ll see you then,” Sora says as he walks out of his room. Primula was on the bed and covered herself so she would sleep. Sora closes the door and heads out of Aqua, going to the entrance door. He says high to others and waves to them. He then reaches the entrance door and holds on the handle. He then pushes and walks out.
The bright sun was shining bright. The pokemon that are around here are all playing and having fun. Sora smiles a bit and then grabs out a pokeball. “Alright, go X,” Sora says throwing the pokeball. The pokeball reacts and releases the pokemon inside with a white flash. The same pokemon in the room appears in front of Sora, roaring loudly and louder. Charizard then stops roaring and looks at Sora. “Now X, we need to get to Orre. You know where that is right?” Sora says getting on to the neck of the fiery lizard. “I know where Orre is alright. Just hold on tight,” Charizard says, flapping his large wings. Charizard takes flight and begins to head towards the sky. He then flies off to Orre.
As Sora reaches Orre and the laboratory, the place begins to get dark. If you look up, the place seems as though there was going to be a dangerous storm. Sora didn’t understand why when it was sunny and bright. Charizard lands down on a spot where Sora and Charizard can’t be detected. Sora gets off Charizard and quietly returns him. Sora looks at the laboratory a bit nervous and tries to get in undetected.
He goes to a wall and hides himself from being seen. He then looks at the front entrance and sees that there aren’t any guards. He carefully walks in the laboratory and looks around. The place was a mess like something bad happened and still no guards to be seen anywhere near. The place was getting weirder and weirder every second. Sora sees two ways to go. One way was glowing with the colors of green, purple, and red. The other way wasn’t glowing at all. He begins to walk the path with the colors glowing.
As he continues forward, he begins to see some people. He tries to hide and climbs up the wall with two hands on one wall and two legs on the other. The guards pass by without seeing Sora. Sora then climbs down carefully, trying not to create noise. He then walks forward and sees a creation of stuff. He sees all kinds of pokemon and researchers everywhere. Sora didn’t see the mainframe anywhere though. He had taken the wrong path. He begins to turn around and walks back.
He reaches the beginning again and begins to walk the path with no glowing light. He was then spotted by the two guards that he hid from when climbing the walls. “Hey! We got a runt here, trying to figure us out. Get him!” one of the guards said. “Alright. Let’s double team him. Go Honchkrow,” the second guard said as he throws out a dark pokeball. “Go Houndoom,” the first one said as he throws out a dark pokeball. Sora looks as the two pokemon were released. “Dang it. I was caught. Well, I guess it’s time for a battle. Show them what you got Buzz.” Sora throws out a pokeball and an electric spark is made. Then a pokemon appears as the spark turns into powerful amount of electricity. “Now go Bliz,” Sora says releases another pokemon. Some giant shards of ice appear together from the ground and then breaks. The electricity is broken and an electric pokemon shows its true self. It was an Electabuzz. As the ice shards broke an elegant pokemon appears beautifully. It was a Froslass. The two pokemon looked at one another and then the other pokemon. “It’s time to get this battle started,” Sora said thinking.
G1: Fine. Houndoom use Flamethrower on Froslass. “Buzz, shock that Honchkrow with Thunder.” G2: Use a Dark Pulse on Electabuzz. “Bliz, use Ice Shards on that dog.”
As the trainers told the pokemon what to do, the pokemon listened and began to use them. Houndoom charges up fire in his mouth. Electabuzz punches his fists together and charges up electricity. Honchkrow charges up energy in his mind. Froslass creating as many ice shards she needs. All pokemon were on different sides. Electabuzz on the lower left, Froslass on the lower right, Houndoom on the top left, and Honchkrow on the top right. The attacks would collide in the middle and create a giant explosion. The attacks were launched at one another. The shards quickly headed to Houndoom first. Houndoom then lets out his flamethrower, making the ice melt, but Froslass kept throwing more until Electabuzz and Honchkrow used their attacks. Electabuzz let out his hands shooting powerful rays of thunder at Honchkrow while Honchkrow sends out pulses to break the rays. Soon enough all four attacks collided, but nothing happens. The attacks were going back and forth. Now it was the matter of strength unless something goes wrong.
“Don’t give up Buzz, Bliz.” G1: Keep blowing fire Houndoom. G2: Use the pulses to defend and attack.
The pokemon kept trying and trying, not giving up. A couple of seconds have past and all four pokemon were tired. Soon enough the attacks connected together and created something in middle. It was very strange and it was a combination of the four elements of electricity, ice, fire, and dark. This was very new to Sora and after a couple of seconds… BOOM!!!
The smoke clears as the sound of red sirens ring. Sora sees his pokemon have lost and so have the guards. It was a draw. It didn’t matter to Sora though. Once that alarm went on, he knew that a lot more guards would come. He quickly returns his pokemon and runs off. The guards try to follow him, but couldn’t from all the smoke. Sora had on goggles and keeps on running with his backpack. His mission wasn’t to get the data yet, but to run without getting captured and dieing.
He quickly spots a room and runs into it. He locks the door and sees a bed. He must have gone the way to the dorm. He spots a pokemon machine to the far right corner. He walks over and quickly places down the two pokemon he fought with. He then unlocks a door and walks out carefully.
The sirens went out, but guards were everywhere. He did the climbing he did with the other path and climbed the walls. As guards passed by, he went down without making a noise. He then carefully walks towards a huge laboratory. As he enters, he sees a giant machine.
He was amazed as he was the machine and quickly ran up to the machine. He takes out the disk Brandon gave him and slid it into the mainframe. The data loads onto the disk fast. Sora waited a few minutes and the disk wasn’t done with the data. The data seemed to have a lot of information. He then hears the door close shut. He turns around and sees the same guards from last time. “It’s time we settle the score with ya runt. This time, we won’t mess up. Go Tyranitar,” the first guard said, throwing a dark pokeball. “Ya. Go Drapion,” the second guard said, throwing a dark pokeball. Two pokemon appear in front of the guards, blocking the way out. Sora had to win this battle to get out. “Fine. Go Blast and Beta,” Sora says throwing out two pokeball. One pokemon was releases and a high rise of water appears. The pokemon appeared inside of the water. A purple bubble floating in the air appears and the pokemon was inside. After a couple of seconds the water burst and the bubble breaks. A giant, blue pokemon that looked like a turtle appears on one side while a small, floating pokemon that looks like armor appears. It was a Blastoise and Bronzor.
G1: Tyranitar, use Earthquake. “You know Earthquake also hurts your teammates pokemon. Who cares though? Use Hydro Pump on Tyranitar, Blast.” G2: The runt is right about Earthquake. Drapion, use Poison Fang on that metal armor thing. “That metal armor thing has a name ya know. Use Psychic on Drapion.”
Tyranitar’s attack goes first. Tyranitar jumps into the air and slams down. An earthquake is created and hurts Blastoise and Drapion. Blastoise was almost sent down to yellow life while Drapion was sent down below half of his Hp. Blastoise then charges up his cannons and fire out high water at Tyranitar. It hits Tyranitar sending him down to a red life bar. Drapion then runs towards Bronzor and bites him with poisonous teeth. The attack didn’t hurt Bronzor much, but it left a mark of him. The mark then burns Bronzor. Bronzor was now poisoned. Bronzor went down to yellow life because of the attack and the poison. Bronzor then sends out a psychic attack which hits Drapion. Drapion was sent flying back and hitting the wall. Drapion was sent down to almost a KO’d Hp. Everyone was hurt.
“It’s time I finished this up. Send out another load of Hydro Pumps Blast.” G1: Use Hyper Beam on the Blastoise. “Use another Psychic on that Drapion.” G2: Use Cross Poison on Bronzor.
The attacks were all ready to be launched at. Blastoise and Tyranitar send out there attack at each other. Blastoise keeps on shooting out high water while Tyranitar attacks with a high beam. Drapion runs up to Bronzor and cross slashes him. Bronzor then sends out the psychic attack and sends Drapion flying back. Drapion was KO’d after. Blastoise and Tyranitar kept on going. The beam was weakening while the launches of water were lowering. The two attacks were lowering down until they quickly charged back up to high amounts of energy. Blastoise was sending out maximum amounts of water at Tyranitar. Tyranitar was sending out maximum amount of energy at Blastoise. Soon enough an explosion happened.
Smoke was everywhere again, but not too badly. A sound was then heard and Sora turns around. The data was completely loaded onto the disk. He quickly runs over with his goggles on and takes out the disk. He then turns around and looks at the battle. The smoke clears and both Blastoise and Tyranitar were down. Sora had won since Bronzor was still alive. Sora returns his pokemon. The guards were distracted by smoke and Tyranitar was sent flying back and destroyed the door. Sora quickly runs out of the large room and grabs out a pokeball. Sirens were still running as he kept on running trying to get to the entrance. He sees a bunch of guards coming his way and releases the pokemon inside. The lizard appears and Sora jumps on him. “Get us both out of here fast,” Sora said holding on tight. Charizard quickly flaps his wings and burst through the ceiling. Charizard then flies back to Aqua Base, but makes a stop at the Pokemon Center.
Charizard stops at the Pokemon Center. It was in Kanto though. Charizard waited outside like a guard. Sora enters the Cerulean Pokemon Center and walks up to the front desk. A beautiful lady dressed like a nurse saw Sora. She then smiles as Sora stops.
Nurse Joy: It is very nice to see you again, Sora. “It is also nice to see you again, Nurse Joy.” Nurse Joy: How can I help you? “I need you to heal my pokemon please,” Sora says taking out some pokeballs. Nurse Joy: Alright. This will only take a couple of minutes. Sora hands Nurse Joy the pokeballs and then headed towards the healing room. Sora stands and looks around at the others waiting. Nurse Joy came back with his pokeballs and hands them it. Nurse Joy: There ya go. Have a nice day now. “You too, Nurse Joy,” Sora says walking out. He puts away the pokeballs and looks at Charizard. Two people were going to enter the Pokemon Center, but saw Charizard. They carefully walked, trying not to get Charizard mad. Charizard then turns his head at the two. He gave an angry face. The two people ran off scared. Sora then jumps on Charizard. “What was that for? You mad me look stupid,” Sora said angrily. “It’s not my fault. Anyways, we should head back to Aqua HQ now,” Charizard said heading off. Charizard and Sora fly off to Aqua HQ.
After a while, it was dark since it was night time. Charizard lands at Aqua HQ and jumps off Charizard. Sora returns Charizard and walks into Aqua HQ. Primula then rams into him and Sora falls down. Sora looks at Primula and smiles. “I’m back,” he said standing up, holding the baby panda. He then walks towards the Aqua lab, holding the disk he downloading the data on. He walks over and opens the large door to the laboratory. He looks around and sees all kinds of experiments. He then spots Brandon and walks towards him.
“Hey Brandon. I got the disk with data,” Sora said holding out the disk. Brandon smiles at Sora and takes the disk. “Thank you for your hard work Sora,” Brandon said. Sora smiles back, holding Primula and walks out of the laboratory. He then heads off to bed.
Primula was sleeping on the bed with him. He was tired and already ate, brushed his teeth, and was in his pajamas. He was thinking what the data was about. He then goes to sleep and wakes up the next day.
He had a fun day on Sunday from going to the park with Primula. They both spent time together and a nice, warm day. The day was great while Brandon was in the laboratory, studying what the data was about.

Jay walked over to the couch and layed down. He was soon asleep with Minun sleeping on his stomach. His last thoughts were that he needed a water Pokemon that could carry him easily if he needed to surf.

MISSION- BRING US GAMES!!! (Level 4) It can get really boring around the HQ. Well your mission is to go and pick up some video games! (You will fight: 2 Loz freaks, 1 Tales of Sympoia freak, 3 Pokmon freaks, and 1 Metroid freak)
Pokemon: Porygon Growlithe Paras
Funds upon completion: 3000-5000 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was sitting on my bed in my room playing my Wii, playing the same game for what was like the tenth straight time. I was beginning to get really bored, since I kept beating it. I was playing Mario Superstar Baseball. I really wanted to get some new games, so I headed to the Veilstone Department Store to get some games. I sent out Charizard and hopped on, then we flew to Veilstone.
Entering the store, I read the sign on the ground floor. Ground floor: Information Desk. 1st floor: TMs. 2nd floor: Potions, Pokeballs, and Other Everyday Items. 3rd floor: Stat Boosting Items. 4th floor: Games. I hopped on the elevator and went up to the fourth floor, but when I got out, I found it overly crowded.
Walking over to the Legend of Zelda aisle (as they had separate aisles for different game series) I found several people looking for a game. I started browsing the rows, and upon finding a game (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess), I took it off the shelf. Two guys ran up to me and tried to rip it from my hand. When I refused to let go, they moved their hands to their belts and pulled a Pokeball off each. "Shall we do it together, bro?" one asked. The other nodded. "Let's crush this guy." They threw the Pokeballs and a Houndoom and Togetic appeared. The other people, noticing, turned to watch.
I pulled some Pokeballs off of my belt and threw them. Out came Charizard and Pupitar. "Pupitar, use Earthquake!" I said. "Charizard, use Flamethrower on Togetic!" Pupitar slammed the ground, shaking it. Games fell off the shelves, and a few people stumbled. Houndoom took a lot of damage. A flame came from Charizard's mouth, hitting Togetic. "Togetic, use Air Slash on Charizard!" one person said. The other, "Houndoom, Crunch Charizard!" Houndoom bit down on Charizard while Togetic hit him from the air, and Charizard was about halfway finished.
"Pupitar, use Stone Edge on Houndoom! Charizard, Flamethrower Togetic again!" I yelled. Rocks flew from Pupitar and hit Houndoom, KOing it. Another flame hit Togetic, almost bringing it down. The first person returned Houndoom and sent out Weavile. "Weavile, Ice Punch Pupitar! Togetic, Air Slash Charizard again!" the two brothers said at the same time. Weavile leaped forward and punched Pupitar, nearly taking it out, while Togetic hit Charizard from the sky, KOing it with a critical hit.
I returned Charizard and sent out Prinplup. "Prinplup, use Metal Claw on Weavile! Pupitar, Stone Edge Weavile!" I said. Prinplup's claw grew hard and it whacked Weavile, who took a lot of damage. More stones flew from Pupitar, hitting Weavile and KOing it. The person returned it, and they were out of the fight. "Togetic, use Air Slash on Prinplup!" my opponent said. Togetic flew in the air and hit Prinplup. "Prinplup, Metal Claw! Pupitar, Stone Edge!" I said. Stones flew from Pupitar and hit Togetic, KOing it. The person returned it and sent out a Lunatone. Prinplup hit it with its fist, doing a lot of damage.
"Lunatone, use Psychic on Pupitar!" he said. Lunatone threw Pupitar to the floor, KOing it. I returned it and sent out Scizor. "Prinplup, use Metal Claw! Scizor, use X-Scissor!" I said. Prinplup whacked Lunatone with its fist, and Scizor cut it up. "Psychic Prinplup!" Lunatone threw Prinplup to the floor with its mind. "Prinplup, finish it with Metal Claw! Scizor, X-Scissor!" I yelled. Prinplup whacked Lunatone with its fist, KOing it. I picked up the game, then sent out my other Pokemon to help pick the games up. While picking one up, I saw Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and pocketed it, then a woman challenged me for the game. I sent out Scizor, and they sent out Torkoal.
I could see from the beginning that this wasn't going to be an easy fight. "Scizor, use Slash!" I said. Scizor cut Torkoal, getting a critical hit. "Torkoal, use Flamethrower!" my opponent said. Torkoal released a jet of fire which hit Scizor and KOed it. I returned it and sent out Prinplup. "Use Surf!" I said. Water flowed and got everybody wet on the other side of my opponent, and did a ton of damage to Torkoal, KOing it. The person returned it and sent out Sceptile.
"Leaf Blade!" she said. Sceptile whacked Prinplup, KOing it. I returned it and sent out Snorunt. "Ice Beam!" I said. A jet of ice spurted from Snorunt's mouth, doing a good amount of damage. "Bullet Seed!" the person said. Sceptile spit seeds from its mouth and hit Snorunt one, two, three, four times. "Ice Beam again!" I said. Another ice jet hit Sceptile, KOing it with a critical hit. The person returned Sceptile and sent out Tyranitar. "Stone Edge!" they said. Stones hit Snorunt, KOing it. I returned it and sent out Sneasel.
"Brick Break!" I said. Sneasel ran forward and hit Tyranitar, almost KOing it. "Stone Edge again!" my opponent said. Stones flew from Tyranitar and hit Sneasel, nearly KOing it. "Brick Break again!" I said. Sneasel hit Tyranitar again, KOing it. The person returned it and stalked away. I paid for my games, seeing no Tales of Symphonia or Pokemon games. Walking out of the store, I healed my Pokemon, switched Snorunt for Swinub, and flew to Lilycove.
Heading into the Department Store there, I went to the games section, after reading the guide, which was nearly the same as the Veilstone guide, and looked for Pokemon Battle Revolution, a game that had come out recently and I really wanted to play. Heading to the Pokemon aisle, I saw no less than 4 or 5 other people, all looking for a Pokemon game as well.
A salesperson called out from the end of the aisle. "Those looking for Pokemon Battle Revolution, there's one more copy left! Down this way please!" Three other people, apparently also looking for PBR, went, as did I. Noticing my clothes and headband as those of a Team Aqua member, probably higher ranking than others (as my clothes were nicer, and not at all what others were used to seeing), he smiled at me, obviously having heard of Aqua's deeds, and put the game on a stand. "Whoever can beat the others in a Pokemon battle will get the game. The person with the most wins will get it. Three on three, double battle rules. Your Pokemon will be healed after each battle." he said.
Two of the others started battling, a fierce battle indeed, but to my eyes they looked weak. The third person turned to me. "Ready?" he said. "You bet." I replied. I sent out Swinub and Salamence. He sent out a Machoke and a Starmie. "Swinub, use Icy Wind! Salamence, Dragon Claw Starmie!" I said. A chilly air blew threw the store, doing decent damage to Machoke and little to Starmie. Salamence whacked Starmie with its claw. "Machoke, Seismic Toss Swinub! Starmie, Blizzard!" he said. Machoke grabbed Swinub and twirled it in the air, then slammed it into the ceiling with force. The shelves rattled from it, and a few games fell off of them. Swinub, however, was KOed. I returned it and sent out Charizard. Meanwhile, Starmie released another air, this one much fiercer and colder than Swinub's. However, before it made it to my Pokemon, it died down, so that they suffered no damage.
"Charizard, use Fly on Machoke!" I said. "Salamence, Dragon Claw Starmie again!" Salamence hit Starmie, KOing it, as Charizard flew around the room. "Machoke, use Seismic Toss!" the person said. Machoke picked up Salamence (not an easy task) and flung it across the room. Before it could hit the wall though, it flapped its wings and hit it rather slowly. "Salamence, Dragon Claw!" I said. Salamence hit Machoke, then Charizard flew from its circle around the room and hit Machoke, KOing it. The person returned it, and sent out Froslass.
"Ice Beam his Salamence!" he said. A jet of ice hit Salamence, KOing it. I returned it. "Charizard, Flamethrower!" I said. A huge jet of flame hit his Froslass, nearly KOing it. "Ice Beam!" he said. Another jet of ice hit my Pokemon, but didn't KO it. "Flamethrower!" I said. This time, Froslass was KOed, and the person returned it, obviously not happy but not angry at me, and gave his Pokeballs to the attendant. I also gave mine to him, and he healed them and gave them back.
The other battle, I now realized, had long been over, and the winner had crushed the other. He was waiting for me, having watched the end of my battle, and moved forward now. "Good battle." he said. "Thanks." I replied. The other battle was just getting started, and my opponent sent out a Gallade and a Salamence. I sent out the two who I had finished with. "Charizard, Fly on Gallade!" I said. "Salamence, Dragon Claw his Salamence!" I said. Charizard flew around the room again, and my Salamence whacked his, doing a ton of damage, and KOing his Salamence with a critical hit. He returned it and sent out Yanmega.
"Yanmega, use Air Slash on Salamence! Gallade, Stone Edge!" he said. Yanmega hit Salamence, then stones hit Salamence, nearly KOing it. "Flamethrower on Yanmega!" I said. A jet of flame flew from Salamence and hit Yanmega, KOing it. Charizard hit Gallade hard, nearly KOing it. "Stone Edge Charizard!" he said. Stones flew from Gallade and hit Chariazard, KOing it. I returned it and sent out Houndoom. "Salamence, Dragon Claw! Houndoom, Crunch!" I said. Salamence hit Gallade, and that was all that was needed. Gallade was KOed, and the person returned it, obviously disappointed. We both gave our Pokemon to the attendant, and he healed them, then gave them back.
The other battle was also over, the person I defeated having lost again. The third and final person came up to me and sent out Machamp and Houndoom. I sent out Salamence and my Houndoom. "Salamence, Dragon Claw his Houndoom! Houndoom, Shadow Rush his Machamp!" I said. Houndoom rammed into his Machamp, taking some recoil damage. Salamence whacked Houndoom, doing decent damage. "Houndoom, Crunch his Salamence! Machamp, Seismic Toss his Houndoom!" he said. Machamp grabbed Houndoom and threw him across the room, slamming it into the wall and nearly KOing it. Houndoom bit down on Salamence, doing a decent amount of damage.
"Houndoom, Shadow Rush Machamp!" I said. "Dragon Claw his Houndoom, Salamence!" Houndoom rammed into Machamp again, taking recoil damage. Salamence again whacked his Houndoom, KOing it. He returned it and sent out Lunatone. "Machamp, use Strength on his Houndoom! Lunatone, Psychic his Salamence!" the person said. Machamp rammed Houndoom, KOing it. I returned it and sent out Charizard. Lunatone picked up Salamence with its mind and slammed it into the nearest shelf, knocking tons of games from it. Bystanders started picking them up.
"Charizard, Slash his Machamp! Salamence, Dragon Claw Lunatone!" I said. Charizard slashed his Machamp with its claw, and Salamence, hit Lunatone with its claw, and Machamp was KOed. The person returned it. "Lunatone, use Psychic on his Salamence!" the person said. Lunatone picked up Salamence with its mind, flinging it into a wall and KOing it. I returned it. "Charizard, use Flamethrower!" I said. Charizard spewed a jet of flame that hit Lunatone, but didn't do much. "Lunatone, Psychic!" the person said. Lunatone picked Charizard up and slammed it into the floor.
"Charizard, finish it with Flamethrower!" I said. A final jet of flame hit Lunatone, who was KOed. The person returned it. "Good battle." he said, clearly disappointed with the outcome, but delighted that he had gotten to battle such a good trainer and barely lose. The attendant healed our Pokemon and presented me with the game. "Congratulations to--" he stopped, not knowing my name. I told him. "to Sport for winning this small tournament. He has won the last copy of Pokemon Battle Revolution."
I then went over to the Tales of Symphonia aisle. Never having played a ToS game, I didn't have any experience, but I'd heard that it was good. I got the newest game. Somebody else, also looking for the game, challenged me to a one-on-one battle, two Pokemon each. I sent out Salamence. He sent out Dragonite. "Salamence, use Dragon Dance!" I said. Salamence did, and its attack and speed got higher. "Dragonite, use Dragon Rush!" the person said. Dragonite whacked Salamence, doing a ton of damage, but not quite KOing it.
"Salamence, use Dragon Claw!" I said. Salamence whacked Dragonite, KOing it. The person returned it and sent out Scizor. I grinned. Perfect. I thought. They KOed my Salamence by using Slash, so I sent out Charizard. "Flamethrower!" I said. Charizard released a great jet of flame that hit Scizor and KOed it. The person shrugged and returned it, then went in search of a different game. Meanwhile, I went to the front to pay, then sent out Charizard once I was outside and hopped on, flying back to HQ.
In my room, I found all of the games (besides PBR) very fun. PBR was only mildly interesting, at least until I battled some random people and defeated most. I was content, at least for a while, and set the games out in the main room for anybody who wanted to play them.
P.S. My Houndoom is a shadow Pokemon, which is why I used Shadow Rush a few times.

The style could use some polish here and there, but it's nothing to lose sleep over. Second, I noticed you didn't go after a wild pokemon in this mission. Therefore, why not do Shadow Sneak instead? It's the same mission, and either one can fulfill the requirement for Shades of the Rogue, but Shadow Sneak has a higher payout. (Consult the "quick guide to missions with prerequisites" for details) Now, the bad news: I have to fail the mission. It's the battle. While the split-encounter you did against the guards is unorthodox, it's still clever and I didn't fail you based on that. What DID prompt my decision was during the second half of the battle. Bronzor is a Steel-type and therefore immune to Poison-type attacks. Similarly, Drapion is Dark-type and can't be affected by Psychic attacks. Take your time on the rewrite. With the rest of the mission so good, I'd hate to see a shoddy edit thrown together just to achieve a passing grade.

Sportsman189 MISSION- BRING US GAMES!!! (Level 4) It can get really boring around the HQ. Well your mission is to go and pick up some video games! (You will fight: 2 Loz freaks, 1 Tales of Sympoia freak, 3 Pokmon freaks, and 1 Metroid freak) Pokemon: Porygon Growlithe Paras Funds upon completion: 3000-5000 *Clips another note to this mission* *Attaches a copy of the repair bill the department store sent* Let's start with Houndoom. I, for one, remember that it is indeed a Shadow Pokemon. The door to its heart has opened a little wider than before. (I'm a little fuzzy on the team's purification rules) It seemed like the battle rules you used were a somewhat haphazard mix of 3rd and 4th gen combat. Even so, you told a good story, obeyed all the major rules, and maintained a good balance in your opposition's strength and tactics. I could get picky about how fast Weavile is (etc.), but I don't think it's necessary. Overall grade : Pass, recieve P$4700. See attached bill. Lilycove Department Store Dear Sir: Your unauthorized indoor pokemon battle caused significant damage to our electronics department. While we realize you were not solely responsible, we must nonetheless request you pay a share of the repair costs. In the future, please remove all pokemon battles outside the store. Repair invoice: P$300 Thank you, Lilycove Department Store Management Explaination - Consider the bill paid in full. That is, you get the full 4700, rather than paying the bill and only getting 4400. Since this is a level 4 mission, the minor errors prompted a slight reduction in reward money. Edit - After browsing the rules, I find there aren't any related to purification! In that case, I'll make this ruling: If you obtain a Shadow Pokemon, it can be purified after a certain number of missions, battles, and/or RPs. The number needed will be decided by an admin (or myself, if it's one of MY missions) based on the pokemon.
Once your pokemon has met the required number of missions (etc), you may purify it. As with evolutions, purification requires approval. The person approving purification may then give the pokemon access to one or more moves not normally in its movepool. (For example, in Pokemon XD , Scyther learns Morning Sun upon purification)
To represent the experience accumulated during its time as a Shadow Pokemon, any purified pokemon NOT in its final state of evolution gains credit for half of the missions, etc. gained during purification, rounded down. (If you have a Shadow Dragonair and an admin decides it needs 9 battles to purify, it will have credit for 4 battles after purification, leaving it one away from evolving into Dragonite!)I will send a copy of this decision to Brian, so he can either add it to the rules, modify it as he sees fit, or reject it entirely. My ruling is temporary, his will be binding. In the case of your Houndoom, I decree that seven missions are required to open the door to its heart.

MISSION- When eval Tingles attack! (Level 4) As you may or may not know, SureSh0t, resident lookout, became a Tingle. This was all fine and dandy until he snapped. The excess buildup of energy caused by his transformation and subsequent usage of his powers caused him to diverge into two beings: Regular SS and Dark SS. Dark SS wasted no time in binding up SS and throwing him in the dungeon of his newly captured Forsaken Fortress on the Great Sea. Using his dark powers, Dark SS hypnotized Porygons to patrol his hallways. They are the only sentinels he felt he needed. Thus, he has completed stage one of his "World Domination" plan.
Objectives: 1) Rescue Good SS (*) 2) Get to the top of the Forsaken Fortress, no need to disable the searchlights (**) 2a) Fight 2 Porygons on the way up, you may catch 1 3) Fight with Dark SS and win (***) 4) Reunite SS and Dark SS into one being (****) 5) Escape and return to HQ (*****)
Funds upon completion of mission: 2000 PD --------------------------------------------------------------------- I was lounging around the HQ, looking for something to do, when I got a message on my TADS. I got it out and read it. cOMe ouTsIde. it said. There was no name, so I walked outside cautiously. I saw nothing, so I explored further. About 20-30 yards down the road, I heard an alarm coming from the direction of HQ. It was mine!
I ran back towards the HQ, but a few yards away my leg got caught in a root and I tripped. Gripping my ankle painfully, I crawled through the HQ door. My door was open, and SS was walking towards me. "SS!" I said. "Long time no see!" He just looked at me and continued on. He sent out a Pokemon (I couldn't tell what it was) and flew away.
A few seconds later, a few people ran out of my room. "What happened?" I asked. "That person ran into your room." one replied. "What did they take?" "Nothing. They were probably looking around for something, but realized they didn't have much time. The alarm woke everybody up." I tried to stand up and grimaced. I had sprained my ankle when I tripped, and the pain was unbearable. I crawled to the couch and pulled myself up, then let myself drift off.
A few hours later, I came to. Somebody was standing there, looking at me. "That was SS." I said. The person nodded. "It was." Hunter's voice came from the person. "What was he doing here?" I asked. Hunter shook his head. "I have no idea." He cleared his throat. "However, we did receive a report that he had become a Tingle. After that, chaos began to happen. Maybe I should start from the beginning." He sighed.
"SS had become a Tingle. We didn't know when, but once we knew, he wasn't the same. Somehow, the knowledge transformed him, but only once we knew. A few months ago, he disappeared. We didn't know where he had gone, but somewhere." Hunter took a deep breath. "A few weeks ago, we received a report from someone else that he had been sighted. We sent out a few people after him, but they didn't turn up for about a week, with no information.
"Now, we know what happened. This isn't the SS we knew, but its his evil side. We don't know exactly how his evil side got out, but it appears that he now exists in two parts: the SS we knew, and his evil side, which we just met. The only way to reunite them is to get them both together at the area where they separated, which only they know where.
"SS is currently being held at the top of Forsaken Fortress, which is somewhere in the middle of the Great Sea. The Dark SS, as is his name, most likely has some pawns of his guarding him, but as we haven't been able to find the fortress, we haven't been able to know how many. However, Dark SS prefers to work alone, as you could probably tell from the way he himself came to get whatever it was.
"We need you to go try and reunite the two: Dark SS and SS. And, while I have you here, do you know why Dark SS was trying to get into your room?"
I shook my head. "Nothing I have in there rings a bell. I don't know why he would go there, unless he thought it was somebody else's room."
"Well, now, its time for your mission. Are you ready?" Hunter asked. I nodded. "Well, good luck."
I walked outside of the HQ and sent out my Charizard. I hopped on, and we took off, heading for the Great Sea. I got there a few hours later and started searching, getting extremely close to the water. However, I found nothing in a span of a few miles, and soon gave up after searching for a few hours. Finding a cluster of islands, I hopped on one and put my head down to sleep.
When I woke up, I found a shadow looming over me, and it wasn't from the tree I was leaning against. Looking up, I noticed a huge, craggy rock, forming a circular shape. I recognized it as Forsaken Fortress, the place where I was trying to get. Walking up to it, I felt it. Sure enough, it was extremely hard. I had no chance of digging through it or burning a hole. I sent out Swampert and hopped on to go around to the other side and search for an entrance.
However, I found nothing there. I had Swampert dive underwater to look for an entrance, then come back and take me. About 10 minutes after I sent it under, Swampert came back, and I hopped on its back. He took me out to the area where the entrance was, then dove underwater and I saw some stairs leading from the outside into the fortress. We went inside.
The water level outside rose to about a fifth of the fortress' total height. Once inside, it didn't take long to get to fresh air. I took a couple of lungfulls, then set off. There were winding stairs that led up to the top. I started to climb them. Soon enough, I reached the first guard. Instead of a person, however, it was a Porygon. I took a deep breath and started to go around it.
When I reached the Porygon, it moved towards me. Sending out a burst of energy, in which I saw red, yellow, and a light blue, it stopped about 10 feet from me. I dodged the energy and sent out Charizard. "Flamethrower!" I said. Charizard released a huge flame which hit the Porygon. The Porygon made a bolt of lightning come from the ceiling, which hit Charizard and did a ton of damage.
"Flamethrower again!" I said. The flame hit the Porygon again, this time burning it. Porygon again attacked with Thunderbolt, hitting Charizard and KOing it. I returned it and sent out Salamence. Porygon was hurt from the burn. I pulled a Pokeball from my belt and threw it. It hit the Porygon and Porygon disappeared inside of it. Shake, shake, shake, ding! I had caught the Porygon. I picked up the Pokeball and stuck it in my pocket, then hopped on Salamence and flew up the stairs.
After I reached the next landing, I saw another Porygon and a few doorways leading off of the landing. However, my information was that SS was at the top, so I continued on. The Porygon ignored me. After reaching the next landing, there was one door and two more Porygons. Trying to continue on, the Porygons moved to block my path. Salamence darted beneath them, so they moved to block him.
We tried to get up the stairs for about 5 minutes, then I devised a brilliant plan. Retreating back down the staircase, I sent out my Sneasel. Sending it up the stairs first, I waited until I heard it darting around before moving with Salamence. We flew over the Porygons, who took no notice, then I returned Sneasel. We were safely up the stairs. Going to the third and final level, (**) I found 3 Porygons patrolling, two over one door, one over the other. Heading to the door with one, in which I half expected Dark Samus to be, the Porygon attacked.
"Salamence, use Dragon Claw!" I said. Salamence darted forward and slashed Porygon. Porygon released another burst of orange, yellow, and sky blue energy, which hit Salamence. "Again!" I yelled. Salamence again slashed Porygon, KOing it with a critical hit. The other two took no notice of me, as I wasn't heading for the door they patrolled.
Entering the doorway, I saw nearly an empty room, except for a figure that stirred when I got closer. Noticing the figure as SS, I had Salamence cut the ropes binding him. (*) Then, propping him up against the wall, I poured some water into his mouth from my water bottle, which I had in the backpack on my back. SS slowly opened his eyes, then blinked a couple of times. "Sport?" he asked. I nodded. "How did you find me?"
"I was told by Hunter that you had been taken captive by Dark SS here, which we knew Dark SS existed when he tried to get in HQ. He knew the general area, but not the exact spot. I dozed off on an island, and when I woke up, it was there." I told him.
He shook his head. "You have to be on that island for a while to be able to see it. Once you find it, though, you don't have to wait. How did you know to choose that island?" he asked me. I shrugged. "Just a coincidence, thats all. But come on: we need to get you out of here and destroy Dark SS. I was told how to reunite you two, so can you tell me where he came into existence?"
SS told me that he had appeared just outside of Lilycove, in a small clearing of trees. "Come on." I said, having Salamence take us down the stairs and Swampert take us to the surface of the water. Once there, Salamence took us to Lilycove, where I healed my Charizard and went to the clearing where Dark SS appeared, then waited for him to come. Sure enough, a few hours later, Dark SS appeared.
Glaring at me, he walked into the clearing. I sent out Salamence. Noticing my challenge, he sent out a Porygon. "Salamence, Dragon Claw!" I said. Salamence slashed Porygon with its claws, doing decent damage. Dark SS looked at Porygon, who let out a beam of ice that hit Salamence, nearly KOing it. "Again!" I said. Salamence again hit Porygon, leaving it with little health. Porygon again let out a beam of ice that hit Salamence, this time KOing it. I returned it and sent out Sneasel. "Brick Break!" I said, Sneasel hit Porygon hard, KOing it. Dark SS returned it and sent out Porygon-2.
Looking at Porygon-2, Porygon-2 used Thunderbolt. It hit Sneasel, doing a decent amount of damage. "Brick Break!" I said. Sneasel ran up and hit Porygon-2 hard, nearly KOing it. Porygon-2 again used Thunderbolt, doing more damage, and nearly KOing Sneasel. "Again!" I yelled. Sneasel again whacked Porygon-2, KOing it this time. Dark SS returned it and sent out Porygon-Z. Glaring at it, is used a mixture of fire, ice, and electric that hit Sneasel and KOed it. I returned it and sent out Charizard.
"Flamethrower!" I said. Charizard let out a jet of flame that hit Porygon-Z and did a decent amount of damage. Porygon-Z used Thunderbolt, nearly KOing Charizard. "Fire Blast!" I said. Charizard let out a huge jet of flame that hit Porygon-Z and KOed it. Dark SS returned it and grinned, then pulled another Pokeball from his belt. He threw it and out came a huge Pokemon, a Slaking. Obviously, it was his best Pokemon.
Slaking rammed into Charizard with Body Slam, KOing it. I returned it and sent out Houndoom, a stupid move. "Crunch!" I said. Houndoom bit down on Slaking, doing a decent amount of damage. Slaking was messing around because of Truant. "Again!" I said. Houndoom bit down on Slaking again, doing more damage. Slaking rammed into Houndoom, KOing it with Submission, taking recoil damage. I returned Houndoom and sent out Swampert.
"Earthquake!" I said. Swampert jumped up and down, doing a ton of damage to Slaking, but not quite KOing it. "Earthquake again!" I said, taking advantage of Truant. Swampert again shook the earth, this time KOing Slaking. Dark SS returned it, and SS took advantage of his glaring at me (because I defeated him (***)) to grab his hand. Opening his eyes in surprise, there was a flash of light, and I was momentarily blinded. When the light went away, Dark SS had disappeared, and SS was standing there (****). I smiled and went to help him up (as he had fallen on the ground, then sent out Salamence and flew back to HQ. (*****)
And by the way, regardless of you grading the mission or not, can I evolve my Pupitar? It has 10 missions now =)

SC struggles in carrying a load of binders, folders, papers, and a laptop. She quickly drags her things up the stairs and dumps them in her room, then comes back down and slumps on the couch. She watches Umbreon and Jolteon pick their way down the stairs and settle on the couch next to her, and she absently scratches Umbreon behind the ears. Umbreon flicks her ears but doesn't do anything, knowing SC was dreaming at the moment. Jolteon barks quickly and springs of the couch, heading outdoors. Quickly Typhlosion runs down the stairs and outside, his light blue fur reflecting the trees and HQ faintly. The two run off into the woods as Scyther jumps down and joins them. SC just watches them absent-mindedly, and stops petting Umbreon.

I caught a couple of minor problems such as "Dark Samus" but those are nothing to worry about. PASSKeep the 2000PD and the porygon, and your pupitar may evolve.

MISSION - That's the Spirit! Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Mt. Pyre and catch a ghost pokemon
Pokemon: Duskull Shuppet
Funds upon completion: 300
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jay returned his Minun and walked away from Deryx. His thought before he had taken his nap was forgotten. A beeping noise started to come from Jay’s pocket. Jay eagerly pulled out his TADS. He read the message. “Hey Jay, we need you to go catch a ghost Pokemon. There have been some sighted at Mt. Pyre.” Jay stuffed the TADS back in the pocket of his jeans. He let out a cry of excitement. A ghost Pokemon! I have always wanted a ghost Pokemon. Jay quickly ran out of HQ and got his Aqua Bike DX from the doorway. It was a clear, moonless night. He eagerly jumped on his bike and sped off down the road. It was a cool night. He wasn’t hot like the last biked ride he had taken. Now he wished he wold have brought a jacket. He watched as a flock of Zubat flew by. “Whoa! I have never seen a flock of Zubat before outside of a cave before. I guess they are at now because it is so dark.” Jay commented. He really liked Zubat and hoped to catch one soon. After about an hour or so of riding, Jay reached the body of water that divided him from Mt. Pyre. He gulped at the huge mountain that seemed to loom over him like a menacing demon. “Okay, this is no time to freak out.” Jay told himself. He put his bike behind some nearby bushes and walked up to the edge of the water.
“Okay Mudkip come on out!” Jay said throwing a Pokeball. A white light came out the Pokeball and formed the shape of a Mudkip. Jay caught the Pokeball and put it on his belt. “Okay we need to cross this water.” Jay said. “Mudkip!” it said. He put his TADS in his bag and put it in the bushes next to his bike. Jay dove into the water and Mudkip followed. “Mudkip, I need you to tell me if any Pokemon approach us in the water. The two of them started to swim and luckily Jay didn’t run into any wild Pokemon. When Jay reached the base of Mt. Pyre he got out of the water. “Thanks. Return.” Jay said returning his Pokemon.. He turned around, his throat became dry. There standing face to face with him was a Duskull.
“Duskull.” it said staring at Jay. “Jay swallowed and backed up. The Duskull floated closer to him and Jay stepped back. Even on the cold night he was sweating.. What was he doing? He came on this mission to catch a ghost Pokemon. He couldn’t let his fear get in the way of his mission. He took a placed his feet firmly on the ground. “Okay Duskull, I came here to capture a ghost Pokemon and that is what I am going to do. He took out a tiny black and red ball. He clicked the center button and the ball enlarged. Torchic I choose you!” Jay yelled throwing the ball. A white light came out of the ball and formed the shape of a small, orange chick. “Torchic!” it said. “Okay Duskull, get ready. Here we come!” Jay said pointing his finger at Duskull.
“Torchic Ember!” Jay said. The small fire beads went towards Duskull, but it disappeared and reappeared in front of Torchic. “Caught off guard Torchic fell backwards. The Duskull used Night Shade and hit Torchic causing a medium amount of damage. “Torchic get up!” Jay yelled. His Torchic got up and his Duskull disappeared again. “Torchic wait for it to reappear!" Jay said. His Torchic stood in place. The Duskull appeared behind Torchic. “Torchic behind you! Ember!” Torchic quickly turned around and used Ember right in Duskull’s face. The Duskull was knocked back. “Now use Ember again!” Jay commanded. Torchic used Ember and hit the Duskull. Jay was about to throw a Pokeball, but the Duskull disappeared. Then from out of nowhere, a Night Shade atttack hit Torchic. It went flying backwards. Another Night Shade hit Torchic in mid air. Jay noticed where both the Night Shades were coming from. "Torhic use Ember to your left." Jay yelled. The small beads made contact with Duskull and it fell to the ground. “Pokeball go!” Jay said throwing a Pokeball at the Pokemon. The Pokemon was engulfed in a red light and absorbed into the black and white ball. The ball shook twice before it stopped wiggling. Jay stood still then jumped into the air. He let out a cry of joy. He had done it! He had faced his fear and caught a Duskull.
Jay returned Torchic. “Good job Torchic.” Jay said. He walked to the Pokemon Center. He gave his Pokemon to Nurse Joy. “He had thrown his wet clothes in the Pokemon Center’s dryer and they were now dry. He got out of the bath robe he had borrowed.Nurse Joy found him and told him that he could use the Pokemon Center’s boat. She gave Jay his Pokemon. “Thanks.” Jay said as he walked out. When he got outside he saw the boat. He untied it and got in it.He rowed to the other side. He got out of the boat and tied it up to the dock. He went behind the bushes and grabbed his bag, He put his TADS back in his pocket and got on his bike. He rode off down the path.
When he got back to HQ, he walked inside. He carried his bike to his room and fell on his bed. He was tired. He yawned loudly and fell asleep. His last thought before he fell asleep was when he had captured Duskull. He hoped that he got to keep the ghost Pokemon. He felt like he had earned it.
