Apollime straightened her shoulders, sliding her feet together into attention immediately. One arm straight at her side, the other crossed over her chest, fist at her shoulder as she bowed quickly. Her features a simple mask, her golden eyes reflecting what they saw.
"I am Apollime. Rookie reporting for Squadron Phalanx. No codename as of yet Captain."
The ruby crescent moon in her ear caught the light as it bobbed then stilled from her motions, catching the light in a tiny prism. Her black hair in a ponytail, only a few stray wisps escaped, one laying against her cheek as the mass lay still against her back. She said no more than asked, and promptly closed her mouth. She followed orders and her superiors well, and as precisely as possible. Only a rare event had she ever balked about an order given her, and those were for mighty reasons.

.::Ooc::. Sorry all Halloween kept me away

"One, he ought to know that already, Two, It would cost nothing, he'd simply need to request a meeting about it with some of the Council's heads. And three, if you wished to visit the Library, I, Stalker, Rubiks or Crucifer would have to accompany you, we are the only ones who have permission to take guests into the Lbrary."

Ryanna relayed all of this rather quickly, preoccupying herself with eyeing the new Laptop. It looked workable to say the least. She looked back at the Librarian and then to Tech. She wasn't angry, just irritated at some things at the moment.

Brian smiled.
"Yes, that sounds reasonable. I mean, I am totally down with that. I will either bug you, stalker, rubics or that crucifer about it, got it. well, about a visit, I think it would be just great to consult that magical order to see if or when they have time, and for a party of four, which would be me, the Librarian, whoever is guiding us and one of the very friendly Lawyers of Wulfram and Hart"
He smiled, and patted the Laptop.
"Yes, I know this baby is pure gold. One of the handpickable ones, and by far a beauty. Quadrupple processor array with each one sporting 3,2 ghz, super-efficient cooling system, about 2 ghz ram, 400 gb harddrive, wiresless lan access card, possibility for satellite phones, direct access to the database here in Misshaps, fingerprint scanner with the possibility to check actual fingerprint, warmth of the finger, genetic samples and a shitload of more data, and the best: the ability to crack into nearly all types of data carrying devices, if they have an usb access point, work on any type of cable, wireless lan, bluetooth, or any other kind of data transfer modell going on. Paralelly installed are a linux distribution named malklux, windows XP, and mac os 10, including all vital data acessibility. plus, you have a camera with mic integrated in the upper half of the screen, to ensure that you will not be unheard.
well, for the security reasons, this little access on demand RFID-chip, integrated in a small concealable pin sporting the mishaps logo, has to be within 1000 yards of the original computer, or a termite charge will fire up and ensure that the compromised computer will be abused. All data is backupped in the servers here at misshaps, for easier retrieval.
Plus, here and inside the boundraries of mishap, the signal is generated by my little radio-frequency generators, so it is to assume that it is safe to leave your laptop.
OOh. and because I did not know what kind of computer training you have, I took the liberty and installed a very polite installation client in the computer, that will help you to configure your machine for an easy access. "

Brian grinned, and took a step back.
"Anything else, captain, or am I dismissed? I mean, I still have a demon to conjure, as far as I know...."

Eva nodded, in approval and recognition. That salute meant the girl came from the old school and had probably undergone rigorous training to get where she was. She wondered how appolime would act in the presence of her peers, rather than her superior. "And what, Appolime are you good at? I want your specialties, training, that sort of thing. Interesting earrings, by the way. You take them off before hitting the field, I presume. Those will get you noticed. It would be a pity to waste all that careful black clothing on a few red glimmers in the dark."

ooc: ugh work and halloween got in the way >_< Sorry all. And Parting if you wanna help, fell free to do so :'D Jus tell me what you think you can help with

Xinrie staggared back slightly taking a defensive stance on pure instinct. "HolyShi-!" She stopped in mid scowl when she saw who it was, and heard what they were saying. Quickly straightening up she gave a funny awakward salutation of a greeting "Oh...Yer another new one......Uh...welcome to Squad Null. For now..Uh I would be yer Captain, Stalker. AAnd ya said you were our medic correct?"

A small smile twitched at her lips but she refrained from allowing it to surface, thinking to herself; I believe I like my captain already. At least I didn't get a fluffball. Her smile faded as she lowered her head once in aquiscence to her superiors request.
"My specialities are: guns- regular shooting, sniper, close range, high power, high tech, mostly anything with guns; Stealth; Recon; Hand-to-hand combat; Security- monitoring or breaking through. I am not a super computer hacker, but I can get through almost any lock. I think ahead, and quick on my feet. I am always prepared."
She shifted slightly, reaching into her pocket and wrapping her fingers around her black high powered pistol. She loved them, along with her special hollow points; they go in making a small hole, and come out the other side about six times bigger than the original one. Pulling it out she twisted her hand and rolled the gun across her fingertips, then slipped it back inside her skirt "pocket" to the holster on her thigh.
"My specialities are what I have been trained for. To keep my body in perfect condition, in shape. Years of snipeing, recon, gunman, planning, wartime tactics; each of these in another government military force unspoken of outside those walls. Then my own street training, as a hired gun, bodyguard, or "escort".
And yes ma'm. I take the earrings out on actual missions. These were my trademark in the city's streets. How the people looking to quietly hire the infamous "Bloodmoon", as they called me, could find me."

Clicking her gun back into it's holster securely, she pressed her fist back to it's place on her left shoulder. Then bowed the top half of her body slightly forward again to show she had answered fully.

She nodded and saluted. "I was sent to this squad by the main office." She saw everyone's equipment. "Eh? are supposed to use swords or something, cause im not really proficient with them,I like my weapons." She said showing them her hands which had small rings in each of her fingers. "It's quite an amazing weapon as nobody can see it." She said. "Oohh! I know! Let me show you!" She looked around and found a boulder, she walked a few feet from it and began to slash at what seem mid-air,the boulder started to break into pebbles, then she stopped and closed her fists the boulder exploding into pebbles. "See it's an amazing weapon" A small glimmer could be seen in mid air,but besides that nothing remotely sharp was seen in her hands.

"So..where are we going on this mission? I see we are going to wander across the deser but what kind of supplies will we be needing?" She looked at everyone. "You where going to wander to the desert without water..?" She sighed and slammed her foot on the ground and whistled, after a few minutes a packet came crashing down infront of her from what seemed to be the sky,she opened it and pulled various cantines and handed them to the various members. "There we go " She said with a smiled.

After inspecting the weaponry and the gear, Gene just put it back into the pack and stood up, carrying it over his shoulder and walking along the cobblestone path of the ruins they were in. One had to wonder why this particular ruined city was here... if it was related with Urkal in any way, or if something else made it deserted. This basin was pretty decent for anyone to live in it, given it's practical location for marketing and the such, so it made no sense that it should be all deserted.

It was so odd that he commented on it. "Hm... odd that this city should be deserted. It has a pretty good location, considering; in fact, I find it hard to believe that this place is deserted for anything other than an imminent, constant threat." He scanned the area with his bionic eye, trying to find traces of any unseen, non-material threats... While he half-expected Stalker to answer, someone came in from the HQ. Turning around, Paradigm saw the 'clumsy' newcomer. Psh. Show-off... was all he could think of when he heard the girl say she was clumsy.

Yeah. Right. If that was being clumsy, he couldn't possibly imagine what was dexterously coordinated for her. After Stalker was somewhat surprised/startled/scared about the medic, the woman proceeded to show off her weaponry and even go as far as to assume that they didn't bring water for this mission, materializing cantenes from the sky as if people could just summon things from the air. ...yep, definitely a show off. Gene scanned her with his bionic eye, using Scan Mode. Unfortunately, it brought no real results. For some reason, her string signatures were unreadable by his DHS Vision. Hmm...

"Well... now -she- needs a codename. I'd say 'Acrobat' fits her perfectly."

Cyrith felt very uneasy around the girl. She was powerful, mysterious, and just a bit impulsive. That wasn't the best combination. Still, Cyrith pulled out the sword, and felt it for balance. Well balanced, built for speed and piercing, an epoch, if he remembered correctly. He pulled a few practice maneuvers and found it to his liking. The gun he disregarded, since he would probably hurt himself trying to use it.

Erald walks up and reads the sign on the door. "Office of Capt. Eva, guess this is it." Erald knocks on the door.

Eva raised her eyebrows. "Bloodmoon? I'd always thought you were a woman, looks like I was right." She smiled. "There's a man somewhere who owes me five hundred dollars. Ahh...I've headed up various security forces and private jobs in the past few years. We've never met, but we've done business, belive me." She looked like she had more to say, but the knock at the door cut her off. "At ease, Appolime. Have a seat if you like. Whoever's at the door, make thy merry way inside!"
