Actualy, samurai are the opposite of ninja. Ninja were created to take care of samurais. Since they're sneaky, swift and can use anything as weapons, they were almost equal in samurais, just opposite. (Samurai are honorable, not too fast, and only use ONE type of weapon all the time. And ninja is based on confusing the enemy)

Actualy, most ninja were easily killed by samurai for underestimating them... And some samurai were incredible fast. The only thing taking long was the ritual sword drawing they did.
