Reddemon The_Chaplain not bad for starting out, but please let me make one suggestion- switch the commanders power fist to a power weapon-- although 2X strength sounds appealing, the commander's high initiative comes in handy in cc-- better to strike at normal strength first than double strength last. Besides, power weapons are cheaper and still ignore armor saves. wink Child, hold your tounge in the pressence of longer guild members. Felix has been around for awhile, so he probly has a plan for the power fist Don't discredit his comment just because he hasn't been around as long. He was just giving a sugestion on how the list could be improved. As far as I'm concerned the power wapon is a better peaice of wargear than the powerfist.

Might be, but he probly isnt intending to get into CC, or he may have another idea of equipment to help him out

Thanks for the input guys and I'll tell you why I've got a Power Fist. One day many ages ago (about six months) I killed a Necron Lord and ten Necron Warriors with one blow, that blow came from a Power Fist(Fast is nice but remember: Slow and steady wins the race). Asmodai thank you for catching my mistake and I'll look into getting that wargear.

Yeah, it was only intended as a suggestion guys...jeez. So, brother Felix, any backstory or whatnot with your army--or is it a codex army (not ultramarines I hope)

Behold my army's fluff... Name: Sons of Prospero Parent Legion: Thousand Sons Primarch: None Chapter Master: Seth Makabe Homeworld: None Date of Founding: Unknown Specialty: Ambush & Tracking Preferred Weapons:Bolter & Close combat weapons Colors: Bright red with silver trim and in some cases the left arm will painted like the chapter they are fighting alongside at the time. Battle Cry: "Death to the betrayers!" Chapter Strength~201 marines (only 50 are active) Nemeses: Orks, Thousand Sons Descendants: None History: Little is known about the Sons of Prospero. They are know to be linked to the Thousand Sons and may have been at one time members of that legion. They favor close combat over the use of any kind of arcane art. Some belive this is simply how they've always fought where as others clame that they have forbidden to use any such powers. Another oddity is the chapter has strong ties to the Space Wolves, Black Templars and Imperial Fists. Curently the chapter is operating out of The Fang and has only two companies both of which are unable to fight at full strangth due to injuries and sickness.

Hmmmmmm..... Traitors that have begun loyals once again? That is a rear event indeed, mainly because the imperial greeds (Inquisitors) have high suspicious towards any who bares the mark of heresy, but then again, it can be possible. I mean, how would you explain penitant engine, penintants and flagellants? ninja Are they perhaps under the watchful gaze of the Ordo Hereticus? neutral

So, what traits did you take? I'm guessing Take the Fight to Them (since they're cc) and maybe Have Faith in Suspicion as the disadvantage (since they no likey psykers) Am I right? Please correct me if I'm wrong--pics would be nice too. I'll pu mine up when I can. (done way too many conversions not to!) Nice Fluff BTW. blaugh

I mean, how would you explain penitant engine, penintants and flagellants? ninja Are they perhaps under the watchful gaze of the Ordo Hereticus? neutral The Sons of Prospero were MIA when their parent legion went bad so they got a lot of support from their fellow marines (some where around 100 chapters including all the 1st founding chapters that stayed loyal.) The_Chaplain So, what traits did you take? I'm guessing Take the Fight to Them (since they're cc) and maybe Have Faith in Suspicion as the disadvantage (since they no likey psykers) Am I right? The one that takes away land raiders and termis.

for fluff you should choose aspire to glory as Dreadnoughts, and Termis are rare for a chapter that had a normal founding. I would say even more so since your coming from a legion that turned traitor. Plus it still allows you to vechiles that can still be produced by the mechanicus. But thats just from a fluff standpoint. Its your army

Indeed, sounds logical choices for the chapter. 3nodding Aspire To Glory and Take The Fight To Them fills the spots nicely. ninja
