"Ma'am!" a Grunt yelled, running towards Mai. "The captive, she's-"
"Yes I know," Mai said. "She and that overgrown mouse got out." She grumbled, wondering what idiot had stuck a Pokemon in there with her. "Don't just stand there!" she barked at various grunts. "Find her!" The admin stopped, reaching into her pocket and pulling out the tube of Pokeballs. "She'll be looking for you," she sighed, and shook her head. Why me?

Flannery chuckled. "Stop goofing off," she laughed as she went out the door. "That sounds great." She stopped and waited for him to catch up before continuing to walk. "So how's your mom?" she asked, striking up some sort of conversation.

If you only knew.
"My mom? She's...herself." He said looking at his gloves, a nervous laugh escaping from him as he held his hands behind his back. "What about yourself, how is the life of a famous Gym Leader?" Mike quickened his pace and caught up to his friend, hands still behind his back.

It wasn't by any means an easy job, ducking and weaving the many grunts that came near her. Sandslash took out a few with some well timed attacks, and the daring duo continued their expedition. Before long Kasiya found herself back up where Mai had caught her the night before - in front of Giovanni's office. The door was still locked. "Seeing as you can take out electrified metal, I suppose a solid wooden door should be easy enough?" Kasiya grinned down at her partner in crime.
"Slash," the Sandslash returned her grin, its face clearly saying 'my pleasure.'
It jumped at the door, claws flashing as it sliced cleanly through, leaving an easy entrance into the boss Rocket's very own office.

((ARG. >.< You posted before I got the chance to. I'll edit it later I guess)) ((EDITED!!!))
Mag moved up the stairs and into the hallway. Kasiya was not in sight but several shouts could be heard down one of the corridors. "I'm guessing she went that-a-way." Mag said walking calmly down the hall as grunts ran the opposite direction to get more help. She probably doesn't have her pokemon... I bet that one of those girls that questioned me earlier have them if so I should head to the 'leaders' office and theirs should be nearby.
Mag continued down the halls till he had come near the lab that he had been at the other day. Took a few more turns and found Kasiya and the Sandslash at the door to the leaders office.

"What?!" Giovanni barked, slamming his fists on the desk, watching everything unfold in Viridian City. He picked up his PokeNav and called up Mai. "Listen to me! You get that girl and you get her NOW!" He ordered, slamming the PokeNav shut and tossing it across the room. "Who exactly does that BRAT think she is?!"

"Who's out here, pushing my trainers around?" bellowed Surge, stepping out of the shadows. He folded his arms and looked down at Kilik. "You? What do you want?" he said, nodding to the girl Kilik had scared and she turned on a set of bright lights, flooding the gym in illumination.

Flareon barked loudly at Lt. Surge, then jumped from Kilik's shoulder and started growling. Kilik smirked and imitated the Gym Leader. He crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm here to battle you. What else would I be here for, muscle head?" The boy tapped his forhead tauntingly, "So? Am I going to have to sweep you across the floor to get a Badge, or are you willing to just hand one over now?" Kilik smirked again, tapping his foot impatiently. Flareon barked again, tapping its paw like his trainer.

"Damn it all!" Mai groaned, clicking off her PokeNav and looking around anxiously. "That girl is gonna be the end of me!"
"Giovanni's office!" a grunt screamed, running up to her. "She's broken in!"
"What?! No!" Mai cried, shoving the grunt in front of her so hard he fell into another two grunts, the three of them falling over into a tangled heap. She broke into a dead run, still clutching Kasiya's Pokemon in one hand.
"Great job," Kasiya smiled at the Sandslash, suddenly forming an idea. "This may be a bit sudden, but what do you think about teaming up with me?" She asked. She held up an empty Pokeball in her one hand. The Sandslash gave an excited nod, jumping up and touching the Pokeball with an outstretched claw. It was sucked inside, and clicked shut. Kasiya smiled to herself, holding the Pokeball tightly to her chest.

Flannery gave Mike an odd look, but shrugged. "Same old, everyday boring stuff," she laughed, scratching her head. "It's not been very exciting around here the last while." She sighed, taking in the sights of her beloved home town. She stopped suddenly, looking away from Mike and off into the horizon, a dreamy look in her eyes.
"Say Mike, can I ask you something?" she said quickly, turning to look her friend in the eye.

Mag calmly walked into the office that had just been forcibly opened up. "Well I guess that the leader of this group wasn't into security. That door was a very pitiful excuse for hiding something as grand as the office of the leader of Team Rocket." Mag stated.
"So what brings you to this base?" Mag asked as he stood in the door way.

"Very funny, ha ha," Surge chortled sarcastically, not at all impressed, nor intimidated. "Didn't anyone ever teach you any respect, boy?" he growled. "You've either got a lot of brass or very little brains to come waltzing in here like you own the place. An' if it weren't against the code of the gym leader, I'd kick yer arse out right now." He narrowed his eyes at the boy in front of him. "You want a match, you'll get one. It'll be three on three, if you can handle that."

"Mag!" Kasiya cried, turning around to see the familiar boy again. "I could ask you the very same thing! What are you doing here? Among these people? Don't tell me you're one of them!" Her eyes looked pained. "I'm helping out a friend, if you must know."
Mai turned the corner in time to see the Pokemon allow itself to be captured. "No!" Mai yelled. "That Pokemon was to be a gift for Giovanni!" She stormed up to them, standing next to Mag. "Don't just stand there, Link! Do something!" Mai glared down at the young boy in front of her.
"Link?" Kasiya asked, looking confused. "I think I'm confused." She backed up a few feet, now fully in Giovanni's office. The room was the same as it had been last night, quite lush, but somehow empty, as it lacked Giovanni's presence.

Mike raised his eyebrows, his eyes darting to the left, then back at Flannery. his heart sinking a bit. "Yes?" He asked, trying not to sound as utterly terrified as he was.

Flannery chuckled a bit at his reaction. "Relax, it's nothing crazy. Or maybe it is. I'm not exactly sure." Her gaze went to the ground. "My whole life, I've been training to be a gym leader. And that's all I've ever thought I'd be. But ever since you and Charmander - I mean, Nitro left to start your journey, well, I must admit that I've been feeling rather envious." Her face reddened a bit, although as she spoke it seemed as if some burden was being lifted from her shoulders. "So I guess what I'm trying to ask is this. Would you mind terribly if I journeyed around with you for a while? You know, just for a change of pace, to see something new. Of course, I'll understand if you say no. It is a little sudden."
