Tsume shook his head, "it's ok. i'm already in the water. though i doubt you'll leave. he'll be fine, Kashi, but thank you. Heather and the others might need you, though. Istavia had Adi set off Heather's mark, Leo saved him, but just barely." one thing after another, there was no end to it, was there?

Heather looked at them in shock, "i-the mark. is the mark still there?" he asked softly, afraid to touch, afraid to see. she accepted the water and took a shaking drink, not sure what else she could do right then

Lewis shook his head, "No, sweety. it's gone now. you don't bear the mark any longer, you're free." as should his power be too, but that was a completely different thing. it might be released, but using it consciously was a huge step, one that might take a while for Heather to be able to do.

Adi slowly clung to Lewis, the tears not stopping. "master-master, he's going to hurt me. he'll take me into his rooms, i can't." she closed her eyes, "i can't go there again. please, i can't..." she didn't want to end up like kate. "kill me? please, please, kill me!" but they wouldn't, they were too kind. she could kill herself, all it took was a touch, one touch and she would die, she'd never have to go back there. her hand was reaching back when it was stopped by Lewis' firm grip. "please!" she begged, "please, let me die!"

"No," Lewis said softly, "i won't let your die. we will protect you, both of you, all thee of you. we won't let them hurt you any more. you're coming home with us, no matter what the price." he looked at Al to make sure, already knowing his king would agree

Leo groaned softly and opened his eyes, looking up at Elliot and Tsume confused for a moment before sitting up, "heather!" dizziness hit him as blood rushed to his head and he fell back against Tsume's chest. "o~h," he fought it back and looked at the two desperately, "how is he? is he ok?"

Tsume chuckled, "Alive and well, thanks to you."

Leo sighed softly, his eyes closing in relief. "oh, but he'll be confused, scared. Tsume, bring him here. i can talk to him, let him know it will be ok. please?"

Tsume sighed, but nodded, knowing Leo wouldn't rest until he's spoken with the boy. "Here, Elliot. you support him, he can't hold himself up quite yet." he let the prince take his place before heading out, taking a towel to get the worst of the damp off. "Kashi, what are you doing?" he asked when he found the hare in the hall, shuffling about, still only in a towel. "come on, let's give them a moment whole we get dressed, ok? you need your ointment, right? sorry about that, a lot happened."

Adi shook her head, "N-no, you can't save me. no one can, master will, will,"she curled up, knowing the master was going to turn her into Kate. it didn't matter what they said, they were just words. the master would show them, he would never let her go. "i'm sorry, i'm so sorry. i didn't want to hurt you heather."

Heather slowly put a hand on Adi's arm, "it's ok," she said softly, smiling, "i know you didn't. you were trying to save me. thank you, Adi. thank you so much."

Lewis shook his head, "we can't get through to him. we might have to have to put him to sleep, he'll make himself sick like this."

Leo lifted his head enough to kiss Elliot properly before falling back against him. "agreed. i'd still be asleep, but-" he slid one of Elliot's hands to his stomach where both of the children were doing acrobatics in his stomach, "they seem to be a bit excited."

Tsume put an arm around his shoulder, "it was unexpected. come, i need to change too, i'm soaked. let's get dressed, here's your ointment." he pulled off the bag and handed it to Kashi, the contents safe from the water's touch. "let's hurry, Leo wants me to see how Heather is doing."

Lewis nodded, Adi now too hysterical to be reasoned with, he was curled into a tight ball, sobbing almost silently as if he was afraid of being heard. "poor boy's going out of his mind, don't blame him. Heather, hold him. i think it will help since you are the one he hurt."

Heather nodded and took Adi into his arms, Lewis handing the two of them a blanket and Heather using it to snuggle together against some pillows and look far too damned adorable for their own good. Adi actually turned into Heather, holding him back as if they were used to comforting each other. which they probably were. "might not need Kashi after all." he whispered to al, taking the king's hand in his.

Leo giggled, "they are going to be born with ulcers, like their daddy." he shook his head and closed his eyes, "poor little things. having to have someone like me for a mother." he gave Elliot's hand a squeeze, "i hope that they will be strong. and healthy...though i can take care of that part."

Tsume shook his head, "Istavia is a master at manipulation. he set all of this up, already had it planned out in his head. none of this is your fault and in the end," he pulled out clothes from his bag and handed them over to his friend, "you kind of saved him. the mark's gone now."

Lewis smiled and rested his head on AL's shoulder, "let's sit down. we can't leave them alone, it's not safe for them. but that doesn't mean we can't snuggle." he pulled Al down and snuggled against him, keeping the boys in the corner of his eye, but making sure to give them privacy.

Leo smiled back, shaking his head, "or worse they end up like me. i was always running, i don't think i ever stopped. like Nix mixed with Martha. be ready for that one, Mama used to say i was going to have a child just like me some day so i would know what i put her through. i don't think she ment it so literally, though."

Tsume changed as well, "Kate's still naked. come to think of it, i haven't seen him in a bit. s**t, hope he's ok...."

Kate was ok, she was more than fine. she knelt in the exact same spot she'd been in when Master Kashi was bathing, being ignored. as far as Kate went, she was rather happy.

"that's cuz i'm the only good person who'll take you," Lewis muttered, but his eyes softened and he kissed Al gently, "love you too. good thing Henry wasn't here, he just might have...well, i don't think he would have hurt poor Adi, do you?" he glanced over to the bentiens-former bentiens and saw they were both sleeping, getting what rest they could when they weren't required.

Leo nodded, "i am sure we will be fine. they can run wide in my forests and climb as high as they like in your mountains. i pray the fates are kind to us, my love." he kissed Elliot and closed his eyes, sighing softly, "i think i'm ok now. i should go to bed and sleep, much as i'd like to do it here. i'm only half faie, i still can drown."

"You got it," Tsume smiled and peek into the main room, seeing two snuggling couples. they were alright, that would make Leo happy. he went to the bathroom and gathered what he needed, finding Kate by the door, his eyes down. "Kate, get dressed and return to the main room, please." the boy automatically obeyed and he walked to the edge of the water, "Heather and Adi as sleeping, Al and Lewis are watching over them." he gave a little wave as he took kashi the bandages and ribbon, "here you are. everyone's snuggling, makes a man feel left out."

Lewis glanced at Tsume but the wolf was just checking, which meant Leo was ok. "mm, you are probably right. he's had to deal with me, he knows that it's not on purpose. he was just obeying his crazy master's orders, and he really thought he'd be freeing his friend." Lewis frowned, "he was watching, wasn't he? Alvairo. what did he do? what did he say?" what was the man planning with all of this?

Leo undressed, his limbs moving clumsily, needing Elliot's help for most of it. "good thing i wear such loose clothing, this would have been impossible if i wore the same thing as Tsume. though i think you might enjoy the view." he lay down once he was dressed and smiled at Elliot, "guess we're staying in bed all day after all"

Tsume grinned, "thought you'd never ask." he lifted Kashi into his arms and lay down on the bed, the hare held protectively in his arms as he curled up against him on his side. "much better. you ok? need me to adjust anything?"

Lewis nodded, "and Megan. we need to keep an eye on her, don't want her ending up like poor Tony. he still had a hard time trusting people. we was so afraid to hold little Justin, even with cloth covering him, though Justin is immune to their touch." he shook his head, "no, we'll have to be careful tomorrow."
