Solaris Beauty Noel put her hands over her eyes as she Will taunted her. She looked over at him. "Will just because you have a title doesn't mean you have to try and live up to it. Honestly I feel that you try too hard if anything" she told him honestly. She looked as Che's group formed and she looked back at her counterpart. ((UNS - Will))
Will simply smiled at Noel, who had her eyes covered by her hand when she turned to look at him. She couldn't even look at him? How dull and unbecoming of the God Owl and Noel Anderson herself! He threw an arm around her shoulder. "Hmm? You have it all wrong." The title of Satan and Will's own name were synonymous now without him trying at all. Will didn't really have to try when he took his title as the Satan Owl. "I don't try. There's no need. You...however...." He winked as he patted her on the head once again as if Noel were a little child. "Ah Noel, it seems you are reverting back to your teenage years. Well, you act like a useless child most of the times, it was only a matter of time before you became one again." He smiled innocently as he pecked her lightly on the cheek. "Hmm....you kiss like one too."------ ((UNS - Amaya))
Amaya sighed and looked down at the ground with a red face as she apologized to Johan once again. There was nothing she could have done really... Roulin had apparently teleported her, and Amaya had no teleporting skills. There hadn't been enough time for her to do anything. What was the important thing Johan was on about anyway? Amaya swore she had heard Anya's voice shouting very close by as she fell. The ring from her cellphone interrupted her thoughts again. "Oh, Itachi... I think I'm supposed to be on Lucien's little mission team this time... don't worry about me!" She smiled and kissed Itachi before heading to wherever Lucien was, some truck by a bunch of ambulances. She sighed. This was a mission without Itachi. Well, she had to show him she could do something too. He was always so protective of her. "Hi, Lucien," she said with a cheery smile as she opened the backdoor of the truck and jumped in ....and because she wasn't attentive...Amaya didn't realize that Jeannie was sitting right next to the door. The Clueless Owl epically jumped on top of Jeannie and then realized that the seat was occupied...

Erin blinked when she heard Cecilia mention Elle being alright. The quiet twin looked back up at Cecilia, who's face she could only see through the rear view mirror. In response, Erin gave her new friend a small, grateful smile, even though she was still worried for her sister. It would look odd given the blood on her face, but still. "You're right, Cecilia. I'll get to see Elle again after this mission." she replied as hopeful as she could manage.
Then, Erin fell silent for another couple of seconds. She was trying to remember where exactly they were going and what they were supposed to do. That was right: she was supposed to be here, working with Che and the others to convince the Owl Rebels to stop fighting. It was then that a thought occurred to her. "Um... Che? Do you have any idea where this Rebel base is located?" she asked aloud so the Mastering Owl could hear her over the truck's engine.==== Before Johan could even think about searching for Anya and that idiotic shadow manipulator, he heard Amaya mention that Lucien required help on his mission. The older owl scowled in annoyance before following after Amaya. "Damn it all... I won't let her get away next time..." he thought to himself as he came upon the truck Lucien had commandeered for the trip to the Human Rebel base. He climbed into the back seat and sat quietly as he waited for the trip to begin.==== Demon Eyes Zero L smirked though his voice carried no joy. He rubbed the back of his head and turned from Sakura. " Glad to know Sydney's Humor isnt dead yet. How long will you hide in your shadow? Scarred we shall seal you away again? " The light herald shoved a hand into his pocket digging for smokes. "Sakura....in the drawer next to my bed would you please grab the pack of smokes? thank you" Rage could not help but begin to laugh at L's response. 'Scared? Ha! Never in my lifetime have I been scared! That's wishful thinking on your part, Gaeta!' Rage smirked even though L couldn't actually see it as she was in Azarath watching over the crystalised Sydney. 'Oh and one more thing... Sydney's Humor has long since been dead. All that remains are Arrogance, Rage, and Intelligence. As she gave this reply to L, Rage transported herself back to Earth from Azarath. She was basically floating high in the sky, hidden amongst clouds, above South America. She still had chaos to cause there after all.

"I have an idea, but it's just an idea you know?" Che replied to Erin, the twin telepath. Looking up past the smokey sky, the jolted italian could make out the twinkling stars above. Thinking now was the best time, he tried to relax, laying down in the truck's bed the long way. "It's just over some foothills and off a path that we should be able to see when we get off the next freeway. That's all the information that was given to me beforehand. That help Erin?"
Roulin was settled in beside Kate. He sat quiet and content unlike his father who made a slighty ruckus just by laying down. The blueprints to Exire were already laid out before him, so Che's activities and Anderson's joining with them didn't pass his mind. He was intrigued by the design of the island, but what worried him the most was how it was to be flown. He would need to speak to Raven soon about what was going on, but for now, lying was the best option in order to keep her alive. He'd learned all that he needed to learn about Exire. Folding the blueprints back up, he sighed and faced forward as the headlights illuminated the path.
~~~
"Goddamn....it's about damn time you guys decide to move." Thomas, both team's sniper was in perfect position to lay waste to any rebels from far away. From where he was, which was equally distant from both teams soon-to-be locations, he could see what was taking place. These bases were miles upon miles away from the sharpshooter, but Thomas was no pushover when it came to long ranged combat. This may have been pushing even his skills, but the Texan knew he could do this. He'd ordered a plane to be crashed into the UNS building, so poppinga few heads wouldn't be any harder. ~Alright Che, whenever yer ready, just let me know alright? I'm in position to....assist.~
Cecilia listened as Che discussed the plan and where they were headed with Erin. The silver haired driver kept to the road. It would be some time before they reached the Freeway from what she could tell. Looking out of the corner of her teal eyes, she caught a glimpse of Roulin reading the blueprints. From the way his eyes scanned the paper, it was clear that he could read them just as predicted. Cecilia prayed that her vision wouldn't come to pass. Then there was the other vision she'd had weeks ago when Roulin and she were on Exire before it had fallen. Cecilia struggled to banish the thoughts from her mind as she made a turn. The blue female began to think of the task at hand. Che wanted them to avoid using their powers if they could help it. While Cecilia was very proficient with her weapon, she was completely hopeless at hand to hand combat or any forms of martial arts. Without her powers, Cecilia's mundane abilities were rather lacking. Maybe one of the others could train her in helping her improve her hand to hand combat skills. She glanced at Roulin. It couldn't hurt to ask. "Hey, Roulin. When this mission is over and we have a bit of time, you think you could help me improve my hand to hand combat skills?" she asked keeping her eyes on the road. If he said no, then she would ask someone else. It didn't matter who trained her.
As Che explained his 'idea' to her, Erin listened carefully. It seemed he didn't know the exact location, but he may know just enough to get them to the general area of the base. Erin frowned slightly, thinking for a moment before speaking. "If that's the case, what do you think will happen once we get there? Won't they attack us on sight? And if they do, what should we do then? I know you said not to use our Owl powers when we get there, so how to you plan to get the group of us through the defenses alive?"
Kate sat silently next to Roulin as the Life Owl began perusing the blueprints Erin had drawn out for him at the meeting. The Eternity Owl's gaze watched him, almost studying Roulin for a bit. She wondered what was in those blueprints but she figured that he would tell them when he wanted to, so she didn't ask about that at all. Instead, she kept watching Roulin's facial expression for any changes. Even though he appeared to be calm, Kate knew that that mood could change in an instant. Besides, in the back of her mind, she could sense a very powerful spirit lurking in the skies. However, Kate would hold off on saying anything until they got to the freeway.
Roulin's dark purple eyes remained glued to the pavement and his attention didn't break even when Cecilia spoke to him. In his peripheral view, he could see that Kate was eyeing him. He could sense her feelings and in doing so, he knew that showing any form of suprise in what he read would bring unto him questions. Still, the time he took to even look at Cecilia was enough to let the dark woman know that something was on his mind. "Ahem...uh, yeah Cici. That'd be alright." Roulin replied finally to the azure girl. "I wouldn't mind. I'll show you moves that'll have your enemies crying...I can't promise you that you'll come out unharmed though..." After answering his girlfriend as calmly as he could, he opened the blueprints once again and scanned over it more and more. If these were indeed right and Erin hadn't misconstrued anything, then Roulin could without a doubt say he knew why the Herald's were helping the Fallen Phoenixes now and no other team.
"We've got snipers baby! Don't worry about it!" replied Che over the whipping brisk night air. It wasn't cold, but it was hot either and in his current postion against the truck's bed, sleep was a seductive woman begging him to follow and be with her. He kept his eyes from fluttering the best he could, but a few times, his eyelids succeeded in dropping. "We have Thomas, Moli and Roulin will take care of those on the outside rendering the inside oblivious to us. That's when we sneak in and try to incapacitate all that we can. Now, Erin, whil doing this, we'll need to search for the Null Generators. As long as they're active, everyone's powers including mine will be...well stopped. I'm sure only my own my still be active, but severly, severly diluted..."
Kate's eyes narrowed briefly. She got the message that something was on Roulin's mind. The way he spoke to Cecilia was enough to give that fact away easily even if she hadn't caught on before. As such, the Eternity Owl closed her eyes and turned her face away from Roulin and instead turned to look behind her at Che and the others. She noticed the Mastering Owl's eyes closing sleepily and she frowned. "Presidiomini! Now is not the time to be falling asleep! Of all people you should know that what we are going to do is extremely important!" Kate scolded loudly, still frowning. And since his head was close by, she smacked him with her hand on the side of his head.
Erin was about to reply to Che with more thoughts coming across her mind when Kate suddenly interrupted. Erin as well had noticed the sleepy look on Che's face, but hadn't wanted to say anything about it. But it appeared that Kate was more than comfortable saying something. She blinked at the tone the Eternity Owl used with Che. Then she looked down at Che, giving him a sheepish smile, but not saying anything.
Cecilia's full pink lips curled into a smile curled upwards into a smile as she heard Roulin agree to train her when they had gotten the chance. Upon hearing Kate chastise Che, the blueberry peered into her rearview mirror at The Mastering Owl, who was sprawled out in the back. He wasn't asleep yet, but he looked close to it. It was amazing that Roulin and he resembled each other so much. The only differences was that Che appeared older with a few barely noticeable wrinkles on his face, and he was a few inches taller as well. Not to mention, his eyes didn't carry the warmth that Roulin's did. Still, it was clear where Roulin had gotten his looks. She shook her head in amusement. Che even looked a bit like Roulin when he was relaxed. Cecilia, herself, possessed a single picture of her mother and father that she had carried around with her ever since she was a young girl. While she had her father's eyes and her mother's lips, there was nothing else that tied her to her parents as far as physical appearances went. However, she had her grandmother's small rounded nose. Other than that, the family resemblances ended. "Moli can hit him with something if he tries to doze off," Cecilia told Kate, her lips twitching lightly in amusement.
Just as Che's large, dark, poofy tresses of hair fell over his face, he felt a hand across the side of his head. Slightly in a daze, his eyes opened wide, but lowered half way almost instantly. "Mom?! Oh no...just...just Kate." The italian spoke through a deep, deep yawn. "Just you wait Kate, I'll get you back...when I'm done trying not to sleep..."
"Heh heh. Good one Kate. Good one." Roulin snickered to himself after Che and Kate's exchange. At least now, he'd found someone that brought him back down to Earth. Of course, the young owl couldn't help but think about his mother Paine who died assisting them all in escaping a year ago. Sighing, he looked over to Cecilia with a grin. "Hey Cecilia. What would you do if I were ever like my dad? I'm just dying to know..."
Cecilia glanced in Roulin's direction as he questioned her about what she would do if he ever became like his father. Cecilia thought for a few moments before responding. "Depends on how bad you really got. If you got too bad, I'd have to beat some sense into you," she said with a light teasing smirk in her boyfriend's direction. Of course, she'd most likely never do something like that unless Roulin were to really anger her. She looked from Che to Kate. "Please don't kill me, but you two would make quite the cute couple," she said bluntly, her mouth running away with her once again. Cecilia was known for being straightforward at times. It was starting to get cold within the truck, so Cecilia turned the air down. At least she wasn't sweating anymore. But her fingers were beginning to turn a pale flesh color. Something, which happened to her skin when she became too cold. She glanced down at her fingers watching as they reverted back to their azure hue. "Most people turn blue when they're cold, but I'm not lobbed in with that group," she said rolling her eyes.
Kate glowered down at Che when he responded. She scowled slightly. "If you want to stay awake, then the perfect position for that would be sitting upright." she retorted before turning back to face foreword again. She only vaguely was awake of Roulin's question to Cecilia as she began staring out the window. However, when Cecilia said that Kate and Che would make a cute couple, Kate instantly turned her head to glare at the azure owl. "W-What did you say?" she demanded quite calmly given how flustered she was internally at the mere suggestion that she and Che would make a good couple. Her embarrassment at Cecilia's suggestion had slightly affected her normally fluid speak pattern. "Do not dare to speak such things in my presence, Queen of the Blueberries. Or there shall be dire consequences..."
The proverbial anime style sweatdrop could have appeared on Erin's face as she continued watching the situation unfold as it had. She had her sheepishly embarrassed smile on her face. She then tried to intervene before things got worse when Kate basically threatened Cecilia. "Now, now everyone. Now's not the time to be fighting amongst ourselves..." she tried speaking up to placate the mood in the truck. "I'm sure that Cecilia didn't mean to say that, Kate."
Noel looked at Will, she said nothing for a few minutes and then began to speak. "Listen William, you can mock me...tease me whatever you like but I'm tired. I am NOT my title. I am Noel before the title and I'll die Noel, so this false idea of how I SHOULD act, get rid of it please" she said to him. Noticing that they were the only ones there she sighed. "I think we should get going, we're the only ones here William" she told him.
Jeannie looked at Amaya she bumped into her. Her first reaction was to push her off but she smiled at her instead. "Oh I'm sorry Amaya, I'll scoot over" she told her as she made room for both her and Amaya. Once again she fell silent. Looking onto the landscape she took everything in for the time being.
"If you're having trouble finding your way Lucien, I can locate the base using this trucks GPS, I already have the cordinance in my mind" the young technopath said. "They have generators in the base that will shut off all of our powers, now I know we were instructed to not to use our powers, but we have two psychics, a technopath and you Lucien, all with passive powers, so shutting down these things from a distance will be ideal" she told him.
Aeon listened to everything, from Che's uncaring attitude to Kate's enraged responses. She said nothing the whole time until she was getting tired of everyone there. Turning to Moli she smiled. "So when did you learn to work a gun?" she asked him. Aeon had basic fighting skills, nothing deadly but she could hold her own for an average woman her age and size.
Sabrina sat on a cliff as her long red hair danced in the South American wind. She then felt the power of Sydney. What in the hell was she doing here? Sydney what are you doing here, this is my area to look over, not yours. Leave and go to your respective region of Earth she told her as she continued to watch the fighting occur. Sabrina rarely interfered with human relations, just merely spectated.
"Heh, I'd be the only cute thing about the couple Cecilia. Rest assured that much is true." Che joked in response to both Kate and Cici's statements. "Leave the poor girl alone Kate. She's surrounded by...well, couples. Aeon and Moli, herself and Roulin...I'm sure you'll come around soon, but until then, I'll just keep chipping away at your slowly crumbling defenses. Ahaha!" Che stuck his tongue out at the sky above knowing that in the rearview, Kate could see him. "And I'll just keep laying if you don't mind Kate. It's better on my aching back anyways."
Moli simply shook his head at the bunch of them. They all had their quirks, but it was something to have them all bunched together in such a small space. Although he wore a light, amused smirk, he couldn't wait to get a few feet away from them all. When Aeon spoke up to him, he looked over to her, his light blue eyes meeting her's. "A gun? Well, I'm not using a gun for this, but Che taught me how to use a gun when I was about four....I prefer rifles over submachine guns or handguns. Desert Eagles though...they're the sexiest little monsters..."
"Moli sounds so damn American it's ridiculous. Or like one of those italian mobsters obsessed with firearms..." Roulin lamented after a breif facepalm. His cheeks reddened slightly when Che reminded everyone in the truck of their relation to each other. At least they all had something to fight for and something to drive them through this. "Ummm...let's just let Cecilia drive alright? The last thing I want to do is crash because of an overreaction to a comment."
Upon hearing Moli speak his opinion on firearms, Cecilia disagreed lightly. "Guns are useful in their own right, but I prefer my chain whip. It's hardly failed me yet. This thing is made of some strong metal and hasn't broken yet. Which is something considering what it's been through in the past," she said with a laugh. "Of course I'm also the butt of every kinky joke in the world." Cecilia then heard what Che said about Kate and him. It was now her turn to reach towards the back and slap him lightly upside the head. "Well that was quite refreshing. No wonder Kate likes to do it," Cecilia said with a light smirk commenting on the fact that Kate, too, had slapped the cocky owl just a few minutes ago. She then heard Roulin's words and shook her head. "I don't think we'll have to worry about that. Kate can phase us through anything, can't she?" the young Azure Owl asked calmly. "Besides, I'm completely focused despite the antics going on in this vehicle." Part of Cecilia was rather excited about this mission, but another part of her could not wait until it was over so that she could get at least a little rest.
((UNS - Amaya))
Amaya blushed as Jeannie scooted aside. "Sorry, Jeannie. I guess I got a little too excited..." she muttered softly as she settled in. To her dismay, Johan slid in after her, smushing her between him and Jeannie. It was now four people in the backseat. Luckily, the truck wasn't tiny... She tried not to look at Johan. He looked rather grumpy. "Umm, this mission will be a success," she said meekly trying to sound cheerful.
The Clueless Owl actually had never talked with Elle, so she didn't really know Elle's name and if the name had been mentioned in conversation, it had slipped her mind. She looked forward at Amara and smiled. "We're going to stop this war, and we can have a school!" she said absentmindedly yet cheerfully. Elle's statements seemed to lay out everything. Amaya didn't actually know what Elle said was true because she wasn't familiar with everyone's powers. So, she didn't say anything about it. Her power was electricity, and from what Elle classed people's powers, her power wasn't passive.
-------------
((UNS - Will))
Will smirked as he met Noel's eyes. "Ah, Noel Noel. I don't care whether you're God or not. Either way, you aren't meeting the standards. You make excuses, Noel. First you say you actually have a sense of responsibility and then you say --hmm...-- that you are Noel and you're tired, and that I should stop trying hard to be Satan--when I'm not trying at all. Aren't you being a dear little hypocrite? Who knew God spoke in oxymorons? Useless." Will pulled Noel toward him and chuckled. "That's alright. As lame as you are, you are still my Noel, even though you disappoint me greatly." He ran his fingers through the God Owl's black hair. "Leave it to the children this time. We don't need to play with them. We can stay right here or find a better view."
As the Satan Owl held his counterpart, his ears picked up the sounds of fighting coming even closer. He grinned and began to laugh as the scene revealed a mass of people fighting, Owls and human alike. They were flooding into the city and didn't seem to care one bit for the structures and people in the area. They were too busy fighting. The war had finally entered this city, and the UNS building would not be the first of casualties. In fact, those ambulances a short distance away would be taken over soon as they drove toward the hospital in the city. Lucien's prior efforts would ironically be in vain. A couple of explosions sounded, but the blonde devil didn't react at all. "Ah, Noel, how thoughtful of them. They came to give us entertainment."
