"that's a good question, you see Chase loved three people total, but the first hurt him and it was a horrible experience for him, then he met Sage who saw him for what he really is, a creature unlike any other. She accepted him for that and a bond began to form until love grew out of it, however Sage disappared, and Chase was alone again. Then came you, he fought feelings for you for awhile but couldn't help it, you were so caring and compassionate so he fell in love with you, but then Sage returned, he still loves you but doesn't know how to understand having feelings for two people, but I can tell what Chase is feeling when he looks at someone, he loves you very much, he's just sad because he fears hurting another, Chase was always too kind, he just never showed it until recently." he looked at her. "please do not hate Chase for his confusion because the only thing he is certain about is that he cares deeply for the two of you."

"Yeah I understand" he said as metal shards started to fall. "but what will you do about your son, Chase wants both of you to be there for him." he looked at the mountain some more. "he has had his heart broken and doesn't want to put others in that situation, if it would help you understand I could tell you a little more about him, I know a lot more about him than you."

(Yeah that helped. Lehran actually wants Ayumi to stick around though because of Little Chase but feels Chase's trust in Sage is too important to forsake so he wants to try and find a middle ground. Chase just kinda got shocked and is recovering so he's out for a little while. I'm hoping we get more with Sage soon I'm wanting to have her input a little before Chase returnes.)

"well it was about 200 years ago, the world was a scary place back then. Chase was finally not so cold towards people so he got close to one in particular but never once showed her his powers. One day the village she lived in was attacked and there was little to defend it with, so Chase used his powers and took out an entire army single handedly. When she saw this she was disgusted and attacked Chase who just stood there for several minutes when she stopped he just looked at her while she screamed she hated him and just walked off." he looked at her. "so you're going to take his son from him? How do you think he will take that?"

Lehran followed her "Don't you dare do that" he took the sword from her. "would you really do that to him taking away someone he loves like that. You're being recklass." he sat down. "you know Chase is merely an idea a personality you didn't fall in love with the body but the soul, Chase can make as many forms of himself as he wants, he could easily make one for you, and one for Sage if that would help, but don't die, Chase hates death, I remember a time where me, him and 8 others saved the world from someone of unbelieable power, I had to kill him because Chase refused even knowing what would happen if he was left alive."

"not without help, Chase was a big role in killing those demons, now why don't you come back out with me and we'll wait on Chase" he offered his hand.

(I was afraid to bring up the cloning thing at first because I thought it would make Ayumi and Sage fight over which is the real Chase, but I like where it's going too.)
"Chase will have no problem making one of him for each of you, and he'll have the memories of both so he won't have to choose and niether of you will get your heart broken." he breathed a sigh of relief.

(just get Lehran to talk about it with Ronin and Sora he really doesn't care for Ronin lol)
"just don't say anything like that around Chase" he led her back to the bottom of the mountain. "he really doesn't have one, no seriously he doesn't have one jokes like that tend to hit a sore spot on him kinda brings back memories of his parents attempts to kill him."

(because he hates his jokes lol)
"I don't know what they know, I found out that they came across an item and peeked into his memories, I don't know what they saw but it honestly angered me greatly. As for Chase's parents, they saw his powers and threw him in a river hoping he would drown, but Chase is metal he has no need to breath so he just sat there for 50 years in the bottom of a river until enough depree came around for him to absorb until he could get out, that would make anyone hate people but not Chase he still did what he could to protect them."
