Michelle looked around completely confused on what had just happened. "where did he go?" She asked looking around.

Pen stood and placed a hand on Michelle's shoulder. "I'm not sure." She said blankly.

Sabe mellowed out just enough to speak coherently.
"Whatever happened, I have a strange feeling that when the hologram said that we're going to be fighting, it wasn't kidding. What if Luciano and Waffle are going to be the first ones against each other?"

Pen grimanced and looked to Michelle and then to Sabe. "If thats the case we won't know which one of us is going to be fighting next." She sighed and tried to think a way out of this.

Luciano shook his head and then he said softly, "I have not the slightest clue, Waffle."
Suddenly these bright lights shot on and then the loud voice over the loud speaker blared out, "LADIES AND GENTLEZURG! WE PRESENT TO YOU OUR FIRST FIGHT FOR THE EVENING!!!" Luciano softly gasped and then he looked over at Waffle, he shook his head
". . . No. . . . Waffle."
In the cell where the rest of the group was, this large holographic projected image came on. Luciano and Waffle could be seen looking about with these bright lights shining on them.

Michelle looked around worriedly, "isn't there a way to get out of this?" She stood up, nervously pacing around.

Waffle got bothered by the bright lights, but then she noticed that her orb came out of nowhere. She caught it before it could smack the ground, then looked at Luciano with a bewildered expression.
You're kidding me, right? I...have to FIGHT him?
Meanwhile, the hologram appearing in the other room again made Sabe a bit miffed, until he realized that it showed Waffle being pitted against Luciano. He was right; It was the first battle matchup.

"Not where we stand at the moment," Pen sighed and looked down, away from the rest of the group.
The image popped up and Pen was startled. "Is that... no.... YOU JERKS WE HAVE TO WATCH!" She yelled at the hologram.
"Isn't enough you took us from our home to fight now we must watch each other fall!"

Luciano kept his eye on Waffle, he was in total shock. The loud voice came back on again, once again blaring, "HERE IN ONE END IS THE EVER SO ANGRY ORPHAN BOY, "THE ANGEL", LUCIANO!!!- AND THEN ON THAT END OVER THERE IS THE ANGSTY, SARCASTIC, CYNICAL ELF GIRL, MS. WAFFLE!!!"
Luciano glared at the sound of the voice ". . I'll show them angry."
"THIS IS THE 'CATTLE PROD' DEATH MATCH!! EACH PLAYER WILL BE SHOCKED EVERY TIME THEY ARE HIT BY THEIR OPPONENT!!! THIS WILL HAPPEN UNTIL ONE, OR THE OTHER, IS DEAD BY THE OTHER'S HAND!! WHO EVER WINS THIS BATTLE WILL GET TO CHOOSE WHO GOES ON TO FACE THE LOSER!- HERE'S A QUICK DEMONSTRATION OF THE MATCH!!!"
Suddenly the arms darted out of the wall, one hit Luciano right in his back and sent an intense shock through his body. He let out this blood curdling scream as he was being shocked. This went on for a few moments, and when it stopped his collapsed to the floor, almost in tears because it was so painful.
"LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!!!"

Michelle looked at the screen, seeing luciano scream and collapse made her eyes water with tears. She couldn't help but look away.

It took Luciano a while, but he got to his feet. Suddenly out of thin air fell his Onyx Bolster Sword fell down right in front of him, he hesitantly picked it up. He said softly to Waffle, ". . . I know you wouldn't want me to hold back. . . so I won't. . I'll be fair with you." he clenched his jaw.

Waffle began charging up her orb, albeit with 80 metric tons of regret. She sighed and then responded.
"Alright then. Don't expect me to hold back either."
She began the fight by firing several blast spells at Luciano.
Meanwhile, Sabe saw Michelle's reaction to Luciano being shocked to the point of blacking out. He looked at the ground, thinking of what would happen if Waffle got shocked instead. He was sympathetic for Michelle.

Pen's anger grew seeing Luc being shocked however she went over to comfort Michelle. Though this was unfair in so many ways all they could do is wait and hope.
Pen walked up to Michelle and placed a hand on her shoulder. "He'll be fine and so will Waffle." Pen said in a calming tone as her own expression tried to fight her worry.

Luciano shouted, he managed to jump out of the way of some of them but for the rest he wasn't so lucky. He was blasted in the arm and the chest. The blast hit him so hard he was knocked backward and fell to the ground, he gasped for air, then he growled, got up, and charaged at Waffle his sword in the air to throw her off. Instead of striking her down with his sword he jump kicked her in the stomach.

Michelle looked back at the screen, "Is there such thing as a tie?" She asked, but she already knew the answer.
