"Your so stubborn!" D yelled after her, once he had recomposed after her punch. "I was going to let you in and im even still willing. I know ive changed i dont know exactly how or really why. But you had to go and keep picking me up and carting me off to bed like some child!" D yelled after her. "If you wouldnt have done that we wouldnt be fighting!" D growled before taking a deep breath and letting it go.
"Why do i have to have a reason anyways... and why the hell does everything have to be a fight with you?" D said in a much softer tone.

As Ivy ran towards where Raziel should have been, she could still hear her brother speaking.
"Because without reason, we have no reason to live except to kill each other rather than keep each other in line. And you were acting like a child after you started drinking, you were starting to be as bad as dad. And the fighting is caused by sibling rivalry dear brother. Plus fighting gives me a reason to live, otherwise I'd be jumping off a cliff right now, and you wouldn't have to worry about having a sister. You'd be that cold hearted and lonely vampire like you have been for years. Oh, and please give dear old dad a message for me. Tell him that I'm sorry he and I couldn't talk, but once I'm done with this world, I'll be waiting for either you or him to come looking for me with a death warrant." Ivy told her brother in his mind.

You wont find it... because im not going to hunt you down and neither is Father. D said back to Ivy. D then sighed and continued walking through the towns streets, apparently he had only gotten that far before Ivy had interrupte his walk.
Was he really becoming like his father? The more people he let in, would he end up like Alucard. Not knowing if it was the alcohol or people getting under his skin, D did take note of his own wide arrange of emotions tonight, and recently as well.
When had they started? When did he start letting down his defenses? When did he start changing and why? Was it the presence of his Father? Dag and his likeness of one another? The castle? The memories? The fear? Was it a spell? Was this all a vivid and horribly strange dream or illusion? Had he been slowly breaking down all these centuries, from lonliness?

Dag was listening. He was on the roof of the Inn. So... Ivy was going to come in-between their friendship hm? Legion was getting ideas. Dag didn't like what Legion was planning. They wanted to slay Ivy. Hell, they wanted to slay everybody out of their own madness. Legion wrestled for control of Daggerfang's body, but were easily thwarted by a powerful mental barrier.
The scythe on D's back just snickered, "The female is just jealous that you have finally found a friend, and would do whatever it took to get you back to the way you were before you went on the trip to Hell's Gate Castle... before you met Daggerfang. She wants a fight. Let me at her, master, I'll shuffle off her mortal coil!"
Dag quietly followed D without his notice....

Once Ivy was out of the towns borders, she slowed her pace down to a fast walk. But she had the feeling that something wasn't right. She could somehow hear the voice of a weapon that was on D's body, but she didn't know how or why she could hear it.
"So, one of D's weapons wants a crack at me. Well then, maybe my dear brother should let the thing have a chance, but then again, I have other things to worry about. I don't trust Dag. He's changed and I don't think it's in a good way. He could harm D. And if I could only get D away from Dag long enough, maybe I can figure out a way to bring Dag back to his normal self, that is, if I can get D away from Dag." Ivy thought, making sure that she was out of her brother's mind range so he couldn't hear her thoughts.
((I"m about to get offline guys, and after tomorrow night, you won't hear from me for a little while. I"m heading back to Cali this Saturday and I don't know when I'll make it back onto my laptop. RIght now I'm using one of my dad's comps.))

D had almost forgotten the Scythe could speak.. and think.. and was listening. Ds eyes faded back to their blue color at the Scythes words. "Is that what it is?" D asked the blade. "You just think shes jealous?" He asked it as he walked to the edge of a pond.
"I think shes pent up." The parasite snorted, having to add in his two cents. "Her lover isnt on her good side right now. Plus i think she got more of your fathers brash nature then you did."
"Still Ivy aside..." D commented as he stood at the waters edge and looked up at the moon. "I have changed, that much is obvious to me.. even in this state of mind." D said as he folded his arms over his chest in thought, he didnt sense.. mostly due to his preoccupied mind.. Dag following him at all.
"I havent changed in centuries... why now? Or has it been a long time coming?" D asked but didnt expect an answer.
"Long time coming Princey, especially the closer you got to Dracula the more your past came back to haunt you. I could only keep your memories repressed for so long. After all its what you wanted me to do... when we me that fateful night." The parasite said gently.

"Hm... Legion is beginning to be a problem... I can sense turmoil. In fact... I sense Legion nearby."
Where there's Legion... there's Dag. In fact, Dag was indeed nearby, with the telltale glow of pale amber eyes in the dark.
"I heard everything."

D turned when the Scythe spoke about Legion and searched for those pale amber eyes. When Dag spoke, D dropped his gaze a bit. "Im sure you did... half the world probably did..." D said before he turned back to the water. "Shes.. difficult.. she has been since i met her." D said gently.
Looking back at Dag from over his shoulder D met Dags gaze. "I thought the fighting between me and her scared you off. Why are you hiding back there anyways?" D said before the answer came to him. "The alcohol didnt silence him did it?"

"They were beginning to get ideas. Devious ones. They're violent drunks, apparently."
Dag did not move. He remained where he was. The scythe on D's back definitely sensed a turmoil, and activated its magics to D. That "filter" of magic revealed skeletal wisps surrounding Dag's aura, each one trying to pierce it with lies, violent ideas, and destructive attitudes. So that's what the scythe saw....

Ds eyes flashed blue before seeing what the Scythe saw. Turning back towards Dag D took a step towards the male as he reached for the Scythe. Can we get rid of them? D asked the weapon.
"Do you trust me Dag?" D asked.

Ivy could sense that something was very wrong, she turned back and saw her brother and Dag. She ran up towards a close by tree, but made it so she couldn't be sensed or seen.
"D what in the hell are you doing?" She asked her self in a very low voice so as not to be heard.

"Wait. Not yet. I can reap Legion, but in the process, your friend would be completely destroyed. He may wind up like Gabriel, or worse. We'll have to completely isolate Dag's soul from the spinning mass that is Legion, then the reaping would be no problem. I have no idea how to isolate souls. You'll have to ask Mazz about that; he uses souls everyday."
Dag knew what was happening, and nodded to D solemnly, "Yeah... I trust you."

D lowered his arm as he listened to the Scythe. Then they would need to find Mazz and sober him up wouldnt they? With his weapons remaining where they were D kept his eyes on Dag, even while his sister made her presence obvious.
"I think i have a way to help you Dag. But i need some more information first. Stay low, ill find you when i have an answer." D said before he took off, he ran in the direction where he sensed his sister.
"Im helping out a friend." D said before he actually turned to look at his sister. "I thought you stormed off to Raziels?" D asked, and not awaiting an answer he talked to the Scythe on his back. "Can you find Mazzaker?"

Ivy looked at her brother and then watched him speak to the Scythe.
"I was, but then I saw you with Dag and I don't think you can be rid of Legion unless you kill Dag. No matter what that weapon on your back tells you. Dag needs to fight his own demons. And I'm not jealous of you, just trying to watch your bloody back. And I wouldn't go looking for Mazz, by now he's passed out from being so drunk. And whether you trust me or not, there may only be one other way yo be rid of Legion, and that's if Legion is dealt with in person, besides, he wants to fight me anyways." Ivy looked over her brother's shoulder to first the weapon he spoke to, then over to where Dag was standing.
