A vampire clad in a cream-colored Victorian gown strode into the kitchen. She moved gracefully and made exaggerated steps, to show off her new, beautiful gown. The corset was tight, but it fit her perfectly. She loved everything about it.
As she grabbed a glass of blood, she paused, fearing of staining her new dress in an absent-minded moment. She had been scatterbrained ever since she woke up, brushing her hair and teeth twice because she forgot she had already done them. She was daydreaming through the first half. She couldn't get her mind off Neferata. Like I'd want to, Valaryia thought with a smile.
Bending her whole body away from the blood, she pushed her neck foward and took a sip. Valaryia looked quite bizarre, but hey, there was no way she was going to ruin that beautiful new gown.

Neferata left the crypt with a tome in her hand and deep in thought. She shook her head to try and clear her mind for a moment. 'Food' she thought after trying to remember why she left the crypt. Wlaking in through the back door into the dinning room Neferata sat in the closest chair to her. She ordered some blood from a passing servent. Turning back to her tome she tried to read but found her mind always wandering off to last last.

Valaryia felt the familiar energy in the next room. Should I...? She wasn't sure what Neferata would think of her new dress. She checked her aura, glowing with greater density and brightness than ever before. It was pink, with a bit of violet and blue. Long red streak appeared around her chest, telling that she thought with her heart, not nessicarily with her head. Which was a bad thing. She rolled her eyes. At least it's only me that sees, she thought.
Valaryia jumped out of the way as a servant passed her. She held her half-empty cup to her chest, careful not to spill it. She was so focused on Neferata that other energy didn't even affect her. Jesus. Poking her head out from the kitchen, she snuck a glance into the dining room, at Neferata.

Neferata slamed the tome shut and pushed it away. "Still can't focus." she said to herself as she leaned into the back of her chair and streched. Her mind drifted off to Valaryia and began to wonder if she was awake. 'Feed first then I'll go check' she thought as the servant brought her order over. Neferata picked up the glass and drank deep from it.

Valaryia smiled and and went into the dining room. She had half a mind to childishly put her hands around Neferata's eyes and scream, "Guess who?!" She laughed inwardly at the disaster that would be, with blood everywhere and yet again another awkward moment. Instead, she took a seat next Neferata in the dining room. "Working hard?" she asked, trying to keep her goofy grin down to a smile under composure.

Neferata found herself smiling as she heard Valaryia. "I'm trying to but I just can't keep focused for very long. To much on my mind right now." she said as she turned slightly to face Valaryia. Neferata noticed her new clothing. "Well that is..." she paused trying to find the words but failed.

Valaryia made a face. "Oh. Do you like it?" she asked quietly, suddenly doubting herself. She had asked the seamstress for a gown, and she had given her one she had just completed that, shockingly, fit her perfectly. She thought she looked beautiful in it. But now she was doubting herself.

"Yes I do like it." Neferata finaly managed to say. It wasn't what she wanted to say but it was all she could force out at the time. Neferata looked away for a moment. 'Why can't I just say it. You look beautyful. Come on now just say it.' she thought, looking back to Valaryia she opened her mouth slightly and froze again.

Valaryia gave a small laugh, relieved. "Thank you," she said shyly, with a smile on her face. Last night was all she could think about, and she wasn't sure where she stood now with Neferata. If she could call Neferata her own, and vice versa. Still, Valaryia couldn't fight her intense emotions. She picked up Neferata's hand, and bringing it to her lips, kissed it.

Neferata pondered the situation for a moment. She had never been in a situation like this before. Her mind began to run over everything that could be done at this moment. 'what to do?' she thought as she felt Valaryia kiss her hand. Neferata grinned uninterntionaly and looked down as her thoughts started to flow faster, barely making any sense to her. 'Ah screw it' she thought as she brought her eyes back up, leaned over to Valaryia and kissed her cheek.

Valaryia smiled at the kiss. Entwining her fingers with Neferata's, she leaned in a briefly but passionately kissed her lips. She pulled away, her face still close to Neferata's. "Where are we now?" she asked. "What are we now?"

Valaryia's thumb caressed Neferata's hand while holding it. "I was hoping," Valaryia said, looking down briefly, "if I... could call you my own. A committment I guess." She rolled her eyes and smiled. "Alright I'm asking you to be my girlfriend. To say it in the least sophisticated manner." She smiled at Neferata. God she's beautiful, she thought.
