Kirsa watched Sasha suddenly launch into action, and she gave a small nod of approval in the pink hair girl's direction - again, in the time it took for her to not focus completely on her surroundings something happened. The chair she was holding was suddenly kicked roughly out of her hands, and upon turning her head to see what was happening another swift kick was landed, this time to her jaw. Kirsa stumbled back, nearly tripping over the unconscious Rocket grunt she had taken down moments before. "Ha! Not so tough now, are you? Now hand over your Pokemon!"
A few feet away Kirsa regained her footing, staring blankly at the kind of short, lanky Grunt who had possibly just made the worst mistake of his life. Without a word Kirsa straightened up and began walking toward the Grunt, who grinned. "Yeah, that's a good girl. Just hand'em on over, and I won't have to beat them outta ya!" Except the cadet made no move to stop, instead calmly stepping past the lanky man and causing the smile to vanish from his face instantly. He quickly turned and grabbed her roughly by the shoulder. "Oi, the hell do you think you're doin'?! I said gimme tho- Hrngh!"
The purple haired girl had grabbed hold of the Grunt's wrist, wrenched it from her shoulder, then whipped around and slammed a fist into his stomach. The Team Rocket member choked and stumbled back a few steps, clutching at his gut. "W-why...you little..!" Kirsa spat out a little bit of blood that had accumulated in her mouth, then took on a stance and motioned for the Grunt to come. "...Tch! Ugh.." Likewise, the Grunt spat out blood before he put on a grin. "..If that's how you want to play, then fine." Once he was sure he had his balance he charged her. Kirsa quickly ducked out of the way but didn't retaliate, instead waiting for just the right moment - which came when the Rocket spun about and reached out with both hands, grabbing her by the shoulders. Before he could initiate his attack, Kirsa grabbed him by his forearms and with a strained cry lifted the lanky Grunt up and flipped him over herself and back, so that he slammed into the ground on his back. She was right behind him, back-flipping herself once he was in his descent so that she would land on his chest just moments after he had landed.
Not only did the Grunt had the wind briefly knocked from him, but he was quite surprised and not entirely sure what had just happened. Kirsa straddled his chest, glaring down at him with her intense gaze, cheek already looking swollen and bruised. "...You just got German suplexed, b***h." With that being said, Kirsa roughly grabbed a handful of the Grunt's hair and proceeded to slam his head into the ground until she was quite sure he wasn't thinking conscious thoughts anymore. Once that point had been reached she simply sat there for a few moments, panting slightly.
Whew...she was used to using that move on people who were running at her, since using their momentum made flipping them back so much easier. But since that hadn't been the case, it had been a good deal more difficult, even for her. If she did it again, even with the momentum, there was a good chance she would hurt herself, so best not use it again. Ah well....Kirsa clambered up to her feet, glancing back to see how Sasha was faring. It seemed like she had just managed to defeat one of the Rockets herself.
"Ja! We need to fight our way to Kilik and the others! If they're fighting Giovanni, we can stand guard and keep any more Rockets from getting at them!" The shorter girl quickly strode to Sasha, pointing to where Kilik, Mike, and Kasiya were. "There is no point in running around trying to take out all the underlings, we just need to make sure they have a clear shot of defeating their leader! Once he's down he'll likely call a retreat, so come on!"

After hiking up a small hill, Kevin saw a large fenced off field alongside the road.
"If you look to your left, you'll see... something completely boring," Kevin announced to his Pokemon, in his best tour guide impression. Twinkles and Monsoon looked at each other and then at their trainer with a blank stare. Kevin walked over to the fence and leaned on it, observing the herd of pink cow Pokemon.
"Normal types are soooo boring," he finally said after watching the Miltanks eat grass for about five minutes. "All they ever do is eat grass and look stupid. I guess I should have known better when I saw the name 'Moo Moo Farm' though."
While his trainer was busy being bored to tears by cows, Twinkles decided to have some fun. He climbed off his trainer's back and crawled under the fence towards the Miltank herd. Baring his teeth, Twinkles crept up on an unsuspecting Miltank. The Miltank was too busy eating grass to notice the creeping ghost, in fact, it was probably half asleep. Twinkles suddenly jumped out at the unassuming bovine, sending it into a frenzied uproar. Twinkles vanished on the spot, reappearing at his trainers side laughing hysterically.
The spooked Miltank ran wildly around the field, riling up the other Miltanks and causing a bit of a stampede. Kevin, snapping out of the grass-eating daze, watched the Miltanks for a second. The ruckus seemed to be contained to the field, so Kevin figured no long term harm would come of the mischievous ghost's antics. But that's still no reason to get in trouble for it.
"Yeah, we should go," Kevin said to his companions and turned on the spot, heading of down the road at a slightly brisker pace than he normally keeps.

Crenu cocked an eyebrow at Rizas's conditions, what did it matter if he got hurt again? As long as there was a battle to be had Crenu planned on fighting to his last pokemon, and as long as peopel were trying to steal pokemon he would fight until his last breath. He didn't much care for the people themselves and had no real interest in helping them, it was more a matter of principal for him. Team Rocket could take all the pokemon in the world for all he cared as long as they captured them on their own without any unfair tricks and tactics. But even still, Riza did have a point. Even with the treatment, he was still feeling less than ideal and further damage could prove troublesome. He felt pathetic, and probably looked even worse, so he agreed and followed her out. "I'm not getting hurt again anyway, they're the ones who...when did you change?" Crenu said as his previous though process was interupted when he noticed the tank top with the white bow that she now wore. But no, that was hardly the matter at hand with Team Rocket running about doing what they were doing. Crenu had to admit that he wanted a crack at the guy riding the helecopter, but even he knew that was a battle he couldn't win just yet. Instead he considered Riza and her pokemon, not knowing if she was packing anyone stronger than her Ralts. She seemed less than excited about battling the crime syndicate and he didn't want to put her or her pokemon in a situation that might end under similar cirumstances as the last one. He noticed several people battling back against the Rocket grunts, as well as a handful of the people he'd met here at the party. Some of them seemed to have things under controll while others were struggling a little more. "Some party, which way you think we should go?" He said looking at the various routs leading into the fray, he didn't care who they helped out so long as he got a change to slap around some grunts.

Riza's thoughts continued along the lines of boys being stupid as the two of them made their way back out to the self-proclaimed battleground that was the streets of Slateport City. The fighting was no longer contained to just in front of the museum and Riza marveled at the number of Rocket uniforms she saw out in all the chaos. 'Wow just how many of these bastards are there?' she thought, wondering where the police were at a time like this. But then again she didn't know if there'd be enough paddy wagons to haul all the goons away even if they did get arrested. Also as Riza studied the situation it seemed like a lot of the younger trainers had managed to get away, which she thought was a good thing. She was still a kid herself, but she didn't want to see the young ones lose their Pokemon.
She was about to respond to Crenu's question when she spotted a couple of grunts making a getaway with a bag filled with oddly round-shaped objects, which Riza assumed to be Pokeballs. "Look, over there!" she pointed, already making a run at the retreating bad guy. "Hey you, stop!" she shouted, catching up to him in no time thanks to her wonderfully long legs. She reached out to try and grab the bag from him, though once she had a hold of it the Rocket spun around and grabbed one of her arms, using all his might to throw her to the ground. Riza practically bounced off the pavement upon impact and she groaned, favouring her right ankle as she tried to pull herself to her feet.
"You dumb kid, you're no match for team Rocket!" he shouted, pulling a pair of pokeballs from his belt and throwing them on the ground. A Pinsir and a Stantler appeared in a burst of light, both looking equally ready to battle. Riza frowned, remembering that her Sneasel was weak to bug-type attacks (especially after that horrid first battle with the beedrill). Even still, she knew she had to give the dark and ice-type a chance and she threw the Pokeball glad to see that Sneasel was looking energetic and raring to go. "Okay Sneasel, hit that deer thing with an Ice Punch!" Riza cried, thankful to the heavens that she now knew the name of Sneasel's mystery move. Sneasel grinned, racing with incredible speed towards the horned Pokemon, her fist glowing with icy power as she prepared to smash it into her target.
((Mr Crenu, feel free to control one of the Pokemon if you so choose. >3>))

Sasha's respect for Kirsa grew with each swing she took, especially that sweet wrestling move she pulled off on that unlucky Rocket. "Magnifique!" she cheered, once again inspired by the girl's passionate fighting. "Oui, we will cover zere backs!" Sasha said in reply to Kirsa's plan. "Allons-y!" She ran forward, Granite lumbering after her, each step shaking the ground slightly. Mike and the others were not far away, but the sheer amount of people around would make getting to them much more difficult. Sasha looked around for a break in the chaos, her momentary lapse in attentiveness allowing a sneaky Rocket to run up and grab her by the wrist.
"Hey there girly," he sneered, a predatory look in his eyes. "What say I forget the Pokemon and take you instead?"
"Oh no you don't you pervert!" snarled the girl, pulling back her hand and slapping him across the face. The sound echoed across the city, a victorious smirk playing on the girl's face.
"Haha, fiesty!" He laughed, largely unphased by the strike. After all, Sasha wasn't really bursting at the biceps. "Just how I like 'em!" He said, squeezing her arm tight. The pain shot up her arm, causing Sasha wince in pain. The Rocket continued to roar in laughter, quite enjoying his domination. I bet he didn't find being decked in the face by a Graveler to be as funny though, because he didn't laugh so hard at that. In fact, he didn't do much at all after that; he just kinda sat there on the ground, twitching.
"Merci encore mon amour!" Sasha threw her arms around Granite and showered him with kisses. "Je t'aime!" The Graveler wore a dopey smile; this was his favorite part of the job. After the dramatic display of affection, Sasha put her determined pout back on, trying-and largely failing-to look fierce, although I'm sure the Graveler by her side helped a bit. She looked ahead, spying two Rockets on the edge of the stage, ready to ambush their friends. "Arrêt!" she cried, racing towards them. "Vous sournois lâches, comment osez-vous!"
The two Grunts turned around more out of confusion and surprise than fear, chuckling slightly to themselves as they saw a girl who looked less threatening than a snoozing Skitty. "What did you say?" the other Rocket demanded, almost unable to keep in his laughter. "You got a problem pinkie?"
"Oui, I have a problem!" she snapped back. "Those are my friends, and I won't let you filthy peasants hit them while zere backs are turned, you mangy cowards!"
The Rocket sighed, clearly not in the mood to deal with her. "Alright little girl, I guess I'll have to learn you some manners." "Wait, that mean I get G.I. Jane over there?" the other grunt inquired. "Yup." "Bullshit. No fair." "Deal with it." The first Rocket said, slapping the other upside the head. He turned his gaze back to Sasha. "Now where were we?" He took out a Pokeball, releasing a Machop. "As yes," he continued. "Teaching you a lesson."

Crouching tiger, hidden Blythe! The petite pinky assumed a crouching ready-to-kick-a** pose as the two Rocket-people strode up to her. They glanced her up and down, and laughed.
"Trivial efforts." The tall, silver-haired lady (or was she a he?) said. Her cold stare could pierce the heart of anyone. Her face showed no emotion, no heart at all. Was she human? Her companion, a lean musclehead from the looks of it, just smirked. "Now, lil' missy, mind handin' over yer Pokemon? We dun wan' break them fra-gile bones." He advanced, towering over Blythe like the sun to an ant.
Hmmm, a plan, a plan. "Well mister, it seems some bones will be broken!" Blythe said in her ever-cheerful voice, a dark undertone outlining her words and her attitude. The man looked over her, asking once again for her Pokemon. "Stop playin', lil' girl. Hand 'em over." Blythe let out a small giggle. "Hee hee.. I'm not playing."
Suddenly, all fists were out. Blythe landed a swift kick right in side of rocket-man's ribs. But, oh no! Mega Kick had no effect! The rocket-man retaliated with a punch to Blythe's stomach. Owww, but Mega Punch was super effective! Blythe fell to her knees and let out a small, pitiful cry.

Junko cupped her hand behind her ear, “You hear that?” She asked her one-eyed partner. “Sounds like the Miltank are going crazy up there.”
Hades floated high above his trainer to see if he could get a better view. The Miltank were causing a grand scene in their pasture, kicking up a cloud of dust. The ghost caught a glimpse of three figures in the road alongside the fence, and he turned his red eye to focus on them. The tallest was a teenage boy with magnificent blonde hair. Following in his steps were two Pokemon, a blue little Squirtle, and a mischievous looking, purple Sableye. From the boy’s ‘it wasn’t us’ look on his face and his speed walk, Hades figured that they were the prime suspects of the crime. “Yomaaa.” Hades said, casually pointing its transparent finger ahead while looking to Junko.
“Is there someone over there?” She asked, unable to see that far away due to a slight hill in the road. “Let’s go check it out.” She sprinted off with Hades happily following beside her.

Between the Machamp's electrified fists pounding against the Ivysaur's incredibly well-timed Protect barrier and the rash tone in which Mike spoke to her, it was enough to snap Kasiya back into her regular state of mind, and she blinked slowly, as though coming out of a dream-like state of sorts. "Whoa... I'm so sorry guys," she murmured, hardly remembering (or at least pretending very well to not remember) the past several moments. "Thanks for the save, Mitsu," she said, giving a thumbs-up to her good friend and looking more like her usual self with each passing second. Mitsu had always been one to battle defensively and right now she was thankful for the purple-haired girl's quick thinking and her well-trained Ivysaur. He's gonna be a kick-a** Venusaur someday, she thought, pointing to Karri. "Ariel, use Helping Hand to give Karri's Psychic a boost! Let's show that four-armed freak a thing or two!"
Ariel nodded quickly after having given Ivy a very thankful grin, an ring of golden-light circling the Vaporeon before it faded and reappeared around Karri, making the Psychic wave she had just launched grow much more powerful. Kasiya chose to ignore Giovanni's words, knowing that nothing he said had any real meaning behind it. In truth he was just nothing but a big pompous bully who'd managed to scare a few people and gain infamy because of it. Kasiya knew that if they could defeat him here, regardless of what happened it would sting the Rocket leader in such a way he'd never forget.
Another fiery attack from Houndoom was enough to end the Seviper's turn in battle and send yet another grunt scurrying away. Needless to say it made Flannery feel good to know that she was helping out and a part of her was beginning to understand what drove Mike and Kasiya to constantly throw themselves into these types of situations. It's good to help, she thought, directing Torkoal to use Protect as an overeager Rocket had a Water-type Pokemon she'd never seen before (it was in fact, a Croconaw) fire a rather powerful looking Water Pulse at the tortoise. "Now take it out with a Solar Beam," Flannery then commanded to Houndoom, who howled at the sky, gathering as much of the remaining solar energy from the sky as he could before he fired the intense solar ray at the offending Pokemon. "There's more than one way to crispify a cat!" Flannery said, laughing heartily as yet another grunt went fleeing from the seemingly-crazed gym leader. However, Flannery couldn't help but hope that her luck would hold out a little bit longer.
=-=-=-=-= Leo frowned up at the Swellow as it used Double Team. That would make it a lot difficult to take the bird down and he really wanted Noctowl to get in there and take the briefcase away from that red-haired hothead in case one of the grunts could not. He smirked and looked up at the multiple blue and red birds flying around overhead before he flicked his wrist and sent out another Pokeball onto the field. "Feraligatr, blast that thing out of the sky with your Ice Beam!" The large gator burst from its Pokeball with a tremendous roar, an Ice Beam already charging as it glared up at the sky. In a sweeping motion the ray was fired, with Feraligatr's intent being to eliminate as many of the copies as possible in order to let Noctowl get an attack in on the real Swellow. Just don't hit Noctowl, you overgrown reptile, Leo thought, watching his Pokemon and underlings at work.

"Aww, has tha lil' girlie had enuf?" The rocket-man laughed, again towering over Blythe. He reached his grubby hand towards her the Poke Balls on her belt, when his victim started giggling again. "Hee.. hee... PSYCHE!" Blythe lashed out, twisting the man's wrist as far as it could go with one hand, and the other hand taking residence in the rocket-man's face. The pain could be seen on his face, but no noise was emitted. In her attack, Blythe had left out one arm, which viciously tried to push Blythe away. It repeatedly punched at her side, but what was left to do besides grin and bear it? She secured her punching hand around the wrist of Mr. Rocket-man's punching hand; yet he still proved stronger than her. She might not have had much muscle, sure - but she did have the moves.
Using what force she could muster, Blythe flipped over the body of the Mr. Rocket-man's. He was surprised, to say the least, when the girl landed behind him, his wrists in her hands. She stomped her foot smack-dab in the middle of his back and pushed, while pulling his arms in the opposite direction. He shook with pain, but still refused to show any sound of it. With one more pull, Blythe was able to make him kiss the ground. He wouldn't be down for very long, but he was down! Blythe crouched next to him and whispered, "I'm sorry, I was just playing." A few slow claps could be heard from the other Rocket-lady. "Bravo." Did she just stand there and watch the whole time? She didn't even intervene or help, just simply waited her turn. Did she even want a turn? She pointed at Blythe and stated "Pestilence." Blythe clutched her stomach. Owww, that really did hurt! Muscley-men sure did pack a punch! And this Rocket-lady wasn't helping one bit. Just a glance from her seemed to churn Blythe's stomach.

((Thank you Kindly Miss Tesse >] ))
Crenu was still scouting around when he heard Riza's yell, snapping his head in the direction of the perps. He ran after Riza, getting there only seconds after she had been thrown to the ground. Damn, these guys weren't slowing down at all even with all the trainers fightin gback. There seemed to by just as many grunts now as there were trainers, maybe even more. He wasn't sure he was in the shape for a physical altercation with the criminals, so he was glad to see him toss out some pokemon. The poison may have weakened his body, but it didn't addle his mind. "Team Rocket? All I see is a no talent punk who probably can't whipe the drool off his own face." Crenu was goign to ask Riza if she was alright, but she had already mounted the offensive against the Stantler with her Sneasel, she was fine. "Guess that leaves Pinsir to me. Ariados, Night Shade!" Pinsir was a bug type pokemon that mainly used Fighting Type moves to offense with the exception of Vicegrip, or at least that's what he had read. A fire type would be ideal to take it out quickly, but Ariados's poison/bug typing would give her the defensive edge against Pinsir's its primary offensive move pool.
The Long Leg Pokemon burst out of her pokeball full of energy, thrilled to be getting another chance to do her trainers bidding. She was beginning to fear that he had forgotten about little old Ariados, that she had become useless to him. But now she had a chance to prove herself! She wasn't going to hold back against her foe, she was going to destroy this mean old Pinsir at her trainers request and didn't care why. Slamming her legs into the floor Ariados sent an eerie wave of purple energy through the ground at Pinsir, the wave slithering aroudn until it jumped up to try and grab it's target. She grew angry when she saw the pokemon dodge her attack, afraid Crenu would be dissapointed.
Ghost type attacks were so odd, but always entertaining to watch. Crenu watched as the wave dove for the Pinsir, grinning when he saw him dodge the attack and snap it's pincers angrily. This was going to be fun.

Sabrina couldn't help but turn to watch the battlefield as they were taking off. She saw the attack strike the Skarmory, and grinned, turning her head to look back forward. "It hit," she said, the grin still plastered on her face. "Maybe that'll show that stupid t**t Giovanni to stop screwing around with my friends." Whitney couldn't help but smile. "One of these days, somehow, we'll find a way to put an end to him. An end to Giovanni, to the Rockets, all of it. That'd be one less evil syndicate out there in the world that we'd need to deal with, and it'd only make life easier." Sabrina chuckled. "It won't be that easy, Whit. Even I'd need to do a substantial amount of training. I can remember there was this one time where I did face off with him for a bit, and it was difficult to hold my own. And, mind you, I had Nina, Mike, and Kasiya with me at the time." Whitney chuckled. "Well... not to be hard on the girl, but Nina doesn't exactly have the strongest Pokemon in the world. She has Anna and Krystal, and Anna's not exactly around right now." The psychic shot the younger girl a nasty look. "Be nice," she said. "Nina's been gone for some time, so it's not exactly like she's been able to train or anything. Besides which, she's a strong girl! She's not weaker than a lot of people!" "Well, she is weaker than some of her friends, and I know that gets her goat." Rio offered its three cents to the matter, each of its heads sqwaking in agreement with Whitney. "There, see? It's four against one. Rio thinks Nina could stand to be stronger too." "What the hell? That doesn't count; Rio's only one Pokemon!" "He has three heads. Each of those heads thinks individually; therefore, Rio is three Pokemon." "...That may be so, but--" "No, there's no buts about it. I win, you fail. Now shush."
Sabrina crossed her arms, looking off to the side. She was quiet for a little while.
It was perhaps fifteen minutes or so before a thought struck Whitney. "Sabrina, just why exactly are we traveling all the way back to Kanto? I was thinking about it, and I mean, my gym's closer. I know you think that it'd be good to hide right out in the open, but those girls don't even know who I am. They'd never suspect that you'd be hiding in Goldenrod, right? And plus, the longer that we're in the air, the longer that we're traveling, the better of a chance we have of being spotted by someone, y'know?" Sabrina contemplated for a moment. She did want to return home partly for nostalgic purposes, but... it could wait. It could. Right now, the most important thing was getting the frak out of Dodge, and getting to sanctuary.
"Okay," she agreed. "Let's go."

After quite some time, the girls finally touched down in Goldenrod. Whitney recalled an exhausted Rio, whom she could tell was more than glad to be able to rest. "Have you ever seen the inside of my Gym?" she asked, as the girls approached it. When Sabrina said she didn't, Whitney grinned a little bit. "Well, I can say that it's nowhere near as complex as yours is-- in fact, it's one of the simplest. Dare I say it's rather... plain?" Sabrina chuckled weakly, rolling her eyes. "You're such a corndog; you realize that, right?"
Walking inside, Whitney helped to navigate Sabrina around. "It might seem like all of these plants in here are just randomly placed, but if you were to look down upon them from a bird's eye view, you would see that they form the shape of a Clefairy. Clefairy's special to me, because she was the first Pokemon I ever caught, and the second I'd ever owned. My Miltank, of course, was my first Pokemon. What was yours?" Sabrina smiled. "My first Pokemon... heh. Oracle, my Abra. Well, he's an Alakazam now. I got him from my father when I was much, much younger. It honestly feels like I've had him my entire life. We're inseperable; as far back as I can remember, I've always had his Pokeball with me, except for a brief minute or two when I traded him to Kasiya so she could evolve him into an Alakazam for me." But then, Sabrina realized she didn't have Oracle with her at the moment; the thought had crossed her mind for, really, the first time.
"It's a shame he's not with me now, though. The only Pokemon I have with me is an Espeon, that I received as a gift from someone, when I was M.I.A. She had an Eevee that birthed many eggs, and she gave one of them to me. I hatched it, and raised it up and evolved it. She's a good girl." Whitney smiled. "What's her name?" Running her fingers across the Espeon's ball, she responded, "Faith. Without a Pokemon, without Oracle, I actually lost faith in ever seeing him again. But, when I saw my Eevee hatching, when I saw this new life coming into the world, I felt this kind of... I don't know, newly restored faith that I can't even put into words. It was beautiful, and that's where her name comes from." Whitney's smile could only grow after hearing that story, but then a question crossed her mind. "If you miss Oracle so much, why not just go to my PC and withdraw him from your account?" Sabrina shook her head. "Not that simple, I'm afraid. I can only access my Pokemon from my PC in Saffron; that computer is on its own seperate and private network from all of the others in the world." "What if I told you that after you went away, Nina withdrew Oracle and your other Pokemon from your PC? And what if I told you that before she went away to the Elite Four to be looked after, she deposited them into the mainstream Pokemon network? What if I told you it was all meant to be? Would you believe me? Would you believe?"*
Sabrina's jaw dropped. "Are you serious?!" she exclaimed. When Whitney indicated she was, Sabrina immediately asked to be led out of the Clefairy maze and led to the PC, which sat in the northwestmost corner of the Gym. With extreme glee and almost disbelief, Sabrina input her data into the computer, and was able to access the Pokemon that she hadn't seen in such a long time. She withdrew them, and released the five of them on the spot. Tears came to her eyes as she looked at her beloved Pokemon.
Regal the Slowking stood with his arms behind his back, his head tilted slightly, smiling to Sabrina. "It has been a long time, Sabrina."
Her Hypno, Somnus, stood beside Regal. "Yesss. We've misssed you, Sssabrina," he said.
Next in line was Mimien, her Mr. Mime. "Where have you been, Sabrina? Nina never mentioned specifics of anything to us about why you haven't been around... but here you are! This is great!"
Anastasia the Jynx had her hands on her hips. "Sabrina! You've had the lot of us worried out of our bloody minds!"
And then there was Oracle. "But the important thing is, you have returned," said the Alakazam." We could not have asked for anything better at this moment in time."
The tears were running down the Gym Leader's face, for the first time in a very, very long time. "I'm so sorry, everyone," she said, her voice cracking. She ran forward and took the five of them in a tremendous hug, sobbing.

Oh good Mitsu is here, Mike thought. Now she can whine and scream about how weak she is while Karri cleans up after her. He was a little surprised though when his friend pulled off an impressive counterattack, protecting Ariel and retaliating on the Machamp in one go. Sure, she had two Pokemon out, but still. It's a start. he said with an unimpressed roll of his eyes.
Giovanni's words cut into Mike like a rabid Scyther. What if he was right? What if he was no different from him? Impossible! What a silly thought. I'm just stressed that's all. The pressure is getting to me. There's no way I'm like him!Right, to be like him you'd actually have to be successful. That and a much better dresser. You have lame clothes. Lame clothes. Lame clothes. Lame clothes. Lame clothes. Lame clothes... Mike frowned, not even bothering to tell himself to shut up. He snapped back to battle, noticing a wide open Tyranitar attacking Kilik's Flygon. He hoped she had enough guts to survive the attack, but if not, he'd pay him back in full. He imagined Portabello crashing into the unsuspecting Pokemon, sending him flying. Maybe he'd get lucky and hit him into the helicopter, which could spiral out of control and crash, exploding into tiny pieces. Giovanni would look back and roar in anger, before a smoldering chunk of wreckage came out of no where and crushed him to death. There he'd die, at the hands of the very children he swore to destroy, defeated by his own arrogance. The very thought made him giggle. Oh how sweet that would be. "Portabello!" Mike called out, trying to suppress his high pitched cackling. "Now, while the Tyranitar is distracted, hit it with a Sky Uppercut!"
Gladly replied the Breloom, following the frigid beam to its source with his eyes. It was wide open; a perfect opportunity. He ran forward, throwing Karri and Ivy a polite 'hello' as he shot past them. As he neared the Tyranitar, Portabello ducked down, letting the polished stage surface carry him the rest of the way. At the end of his little ride, the Breloom used his powerful kangaroo-like legs to launch himself into an impressive Sky Uppercut, aiming for the preoccupied Pokemon's chin.

Giovanni let out another laugh and closed his eyes, sighing quietly. His eyes slowly opened as he turned his attention towards Robin. "You're so naive, little girl. Don't you realize that only the most powerful survive in this sick, twisted world of ours?" He smirked, his dark features now becoming apparent as his cold stare swept over to Kilik and Mike. "I think some of your friends here know that better than anyone! They wanted to taste it! They wanted to feel it, just once, in their meaningless lives! Even they knew that power was too sweet to resist for long..." His smirk widened to almost maniac size. "I find your spirit inspiring, girl!" He laughed once more, "And I appreciate your gall. You've impressed me by merely suggesting you battle me on your own," Giovanni glared at the four children before him, "Which is much more than I can say for the cowards I see battling me right now! Not once have you attempted to fight me alone! That, children, is the definition of cowardice!"
Kilik's face fell. His heart sank. The boy took a step back, hearing Flygon cry out in pain as the Ice Beam hit dead on. There was a loud thud behind the group as the first casualty crashed with an explosion of sand. The trainer looked up at Giovanni, then over at his friends. His throat was dry and it was difficult to speak. He couldn't even think of anything to say. He's right... was the only thought that sped through his mind. Dejectedly, he recalled Bahamut to her Pokeball, while holding back the tears that were trying so hard to come out.
"I knew you were too weak," Giovanni addressed to Kilik, "The first to fall... How sad." The man looked over at Tyranitar, who swung at the right moment to deliver an Aerial Ace with his fist right down onto Portabello. The dinosaur let out a cry of pain as the Sky Uppercut unleashed its damage against him. Stumbling back, the beast fell as well. He said nothing, and his expression did not change. Instead, he ordered his Machamp now. "Show them your true strength, Machamp!"
Shrugging off the damage from the Psychic (which did sting his mind a bit), the four armed Pokemon clenched all four fists. The set of arms on the right began to crackle with electricity again, while the set on the left were suddenly engulfed in flames. "GO!" Giovanni roared. The Olympian cried out and swung, throwing the Thunderpunches at Ariel and the Fire Punches at the Ivysaur. Machamp laughed maniacally. Dragonite, on the other hand, still high above the battle, heard the command for a Thunderbolt. Obliging, the horn on his head began to glow and a large bolt of lightning shot forward at Ariel as well.
"To replace my fallen Tyranitar...I choose my Kingler!" he let the ball fly and released a larger-than average Kingler. The crab had scars all over its body, as well as a chunk missing from it's crown. "Crabhammer!" he ordered, pointing at the Gardevoir. The Pokemon scuttled over to his target, lifting his larger claw high into the air. He swung down, hard, onto the feminine Karri. Giovanni looked over at Kilik, "What's next, boy? Or are you giving up to set an example for the rest of your friends?"
Kilik froze up. Suddenly, he felt a sphere in his bag shake around. Scizor burst out of the ball in a dazzling display of stars and shine, her pincers ready to cut into any foe that dared stand in her way. "Scizor...?" the boy said blankly. The insect looked over at her master and nodded. She wasn't going to let Kilik down, not when he needed her most.

Elekid hopped off of Snorlax and looked over at Napalm. "Good job!" he said, raising his hand up for a hi-five. Though the moment for victory would be short lived as a massive boxing glove came crashing down into the sand in front of them. Cable glanced up to see a Hitmonchan that was glaring down at the two babies. He had to have belonged to the same trainer as the Snorlax - who else would be that persistent? He gulped when he watched the fist began to catch fire and suddenly found himself in the air, the victim of a Fire Punch.
"C'mon!" Cable groaned when he crashed into the dirt, standing back up very slowly, "That's just not fair! One big fat guy is enough! Now one that's wearing a skirt?" His prongs sparked with anger. They weren't going to go down that easy.
